Volume I; Moonshine in Wales Chapter 12 Alchemical Harmony
The princess pointed to the inside of the underground passage. Said; "All the people I've met have gone in here."
Francis still felt that he should not venture in, and the grass and plants in the surrounding flowers suddenly attracted his attention. May had nothing to tell him about alchemy since he was in a wheelchair, and as if in a flash, a thought came to Francis's mind.
There is a potion called 'owl' that can temporarily grant night vision and enhance dynamic vision to the human eye, and the recipe is extremely simple, requiring only six different stamens to be blended with a dry owl eye with a complementary potion.
And Francis happened to have one eye, although it was not an owl but a demon bird killed on the road, but it was probably okay.
It's pitch black down here, and this potion is obviously very useful.
Elizabeth watched in bewilderment as Francis picked up and picked among the flowers, picking them up from time to time and sniffing them, and the princess said with a little disgust; "You're the least manly person I've ever met."
Francis pinched the flowers and replied dissatisfied; "Do you still want to go out? I'm looking for ingredients for a potion! ”
Elizabeth immediately shut up, never uttered any more harsh opinions, and began to ask questions about Francis.
For example, where Francis came from, what title, and where he lives now. Elizabeth hadn't spoken to anyone for a long time, so she was now saying whatever was in her head.
Francis didn't bother with the princess at first, but he couldn't stand it, so he quickly replied and told her to shut up; "The Third Church of the Messiah in Wales, where I am now the host."
Elizabeth nodded in satisfaction, and then deliberately took on a ladylike posture, looked away, and said with a look of disagreement; "If you get me out, uh, the prince might give you a knighthood and give you the honor to marry me, so make a little effort."
Falsehood!
The truth is that Elizabeth has a lot of words compared to other princes and daughters of her time, and she has no affinity for extraordinary power, and the city government is even more idiotic in comparison. In other words, she can't get married!
Francis looked at Elizabeth like a clown, and refused with a straight face!
"I'm sorry, I'm not interested in accepting this honor at all."
He didn't know what the princess was thinking now, and he began to think that Solomon was right, that the princess was an idiot.
Elizabeth hooked her lips in disappointment and sighed; "Well, don't say it in vain."
It took Francis a while to find the original financial resources, and picked up a container cup on the spot and tinkered with it.
Sprinkle the stamens into it first, and Francis finely mashes them. Until it is crushed into a fine enough piece, and all the liquid of the flower oozes out, it is done.
In the second step, the catalytic potion is poured in, but as soon as it is poured in, a large amount of white smoke is produced from the inside of the container cup.
Obviously, the Francis ratio of the first blend was a bit undone, and the potion blend was not too successful at one time.
Elizabeth, who was sitting not far away, was choked and coughed, tears flowing, and complained; "What kind of alchemist are you, I'm going to choke to death, my eyes!"
Francis held back a cough and pinched his nose to toss the bird's eyes in—a white flash of light and a thicker smoke began to emit it.
Mei said that as long as the container does not explode and send you to God, then the potion is not considered a failure of reconciliation, but the purity is not high, which will lead to obvious side effects.
Remembering May's warning to dodge the powerful stun flash that came after throwing her eyes, as soon as she threw it in, Francis covered her eyes with her hands to escape.
But Francis forgot to tell Elizabeth about it:
Elizabeth was flashed by the flash, and her eyes were full of Venus, and she fainted to the ground.
When the smoke cleared, Francis picked up the container cup and put the concocted 'owl' potion into the bottle he had brought with him—and when he looked back, he saw Elizabeth lying on the ground and unconscious.
Francis patted his head, remembering that he hadn't reminded Elizabeth about the dodge of the flash.
He picked up his sword and stepped in and slapped Elizabeth twice, but Elizabeth passed out and did not react at all, but a low roar came from outside the garden.
Francis knew in an instant that the blood of the demon birds stained with him would smell, and they would hunt the marked ones like Pfister who was once alive.
Sure enough, a demon bird appeared outside the garden, which was the same species as the demon bird in the previous mansion, but it was not that big. They come in groups of three or five. The look in his eyes showed that he wanted to eat Francis alive.
But the strange thing is that these demon birds just linger outside the garden and keep roaring, but they don't come in.
Mysteries, more mysteries haunt Francis.
Francis wondered with his sword; "Why don't you come in, are you scared, ugly bastards?"
After a moment of confrontation, Elizabeth awoke from a coma full of Venus, and when she looked up, she saw Francis looking out with a wary expression.
Elizabeth's awakening seemed to be a signal, and as soon as she woke up, the demon birds began to spread their wings and howl loudly at Francis and Elizabeth in the garden.
"What's that?"
Elizabeth said this in fear when she heard the cry, and Francis grabbed Elizabeth from the ground, making her turn her back to the demon bird and look at the ground.
Francis fears that the idiot princess will scream loudly when she sees the terrifying face of the demon bird, which will attract more demon birds.
"I know how to get rid of them..."
Francis looked at Elizabeth, who continued; "As soon as I sing, the mist flows and carries them away."
Francis looked at the flock of demon birds that were about to encircle them entirely, and whispered; "Then you sing quickly, it will be their meal in a while."
Elizabeth took a deep breath and began to sing slowly in a trembling voice. The mist began to flow with the song, enveloping the monsters in the fog and sending them to other places.
"Are they gone?"
Francis hurriedly motioned for her not to stop singing, and Elizabeth nodded and resumed singing.
Francis grasped his sword, knowing that it was not advisable to stay here for long, patted Elizabeth on the back and said; "Now sing as you walk, go into the passage."
Elizabeth walked forward, and Francis stepped back without letting her guard down outside the garden opposite.
Walking to the entrance of the passage, Francis took out the bottle containing the 'owl' potion from his waist, uncorked it and drank it down.
The taste was a thick earthy smell and the burning smell of bird feathers, and after swallowing the potion, Francis's eyes turned pale at first, and he could clearly feel all the changes that came, and it was incomparably bright as far as the eye could see.
Then, Francis walked into the passageway.
