Chapter 349: Where to Lead
Zendari took a few steps back, gasping for air. He was finally done, the last step of that hunger he had never realized. It was too much power for his staff, but it would satisfy his desires for hundreds of lifetimes.
He leaned against the pit. "You understand me, huh?".
"Yes......" the voice rumbled.
The Blood Elf smiled. "It's time. ”
"Yes......" A dark form rose towards Zendari. "It's time......"
"You're going to obey me," the Blood Elf continued. "You will—"
A terrible voice emerged from the pit. It was not like an ordinary roar, it was not like the cry that Zendari made when he was trying, it was more like a laugh...... It reminded him of the Dark Lady.
"I won't listen to you......," replied Dragonax, who looked exactly like the lady. "At my feet, you are nothing but a speck of dust......"
The Blood Elves could barely believe their ears. He jumped to his feet and shouted. "You don't stand a chance against me! I'm sure of that—"
The dark silhouette jutted out of the pit, expanding, growing, until it filled the entire vision of Zendari. A huge, amethyst-like dragon head was formed. ,
"Yours must be meaningless, but you are an idiot......" Dragonax announced to him.
Zendari poured his mind into the staff, hoping that there was still enough power inside.
Dagonax opened his bloody jaws and lunged at him.
The Blood Elves are gone.
The huge dragon immediately stopped the charge. It didn't look angry or disappointed, it was confused.
Dlagonax suddenly looked up at the top of the cavern. Its long, pointy ears quivered, as if listening. "Yes...... I'm coming, my mother...... Here it ......."
The beast burst out laughing again.
His arm was broken—he was grateful, for it must have been a minimum—and he must have been lost farther in the cavern than any dwarf. Roma was sure that the passages would automatically reorient themselves so that he could keep him trapped inside and keep him back and forth. He wanted to go back because. In one of the passageways, he heard his brother's shouts. They were dying, Röm was sure, but he could only go around in circles.
But he had to keep trying.
He entered a passage that was exactly the same as before. And then it's the same, it's the same again. The seasoned veteran cursed under his breath, growing frustrated that even if one or two enemies jumped out from under his nose now, he might not notice.
Gone wrong again. Huh? He clutched his head and shouted, and he finally made something else.
Röm blows his beard. He was disgusted by the feeling that he couldn't help in the end. When the other dwarves were attacked, Röm did not abandon them, and they probably thought so. Regardless, he was hit twice, the first time breaking the bone in his arm, and the second time knocking his helmet flying and knocking him out of the head. So he became dizzy and walked into a crack in the rock. There, Röhm spent hours as if he were dead. But he's shit luck again. The other end of the crevice leads to the peak. When he woke up, he had no intention of enjoying the pleasure of going deep into Grimbaatar, which had been his dream. In his eyes, he was disappointed by others. Rom could only pray to Glinda - presumably clearer than he would - that the others would survive. For his part, Rohm retrieved his helmet - he left it behind - and moved forward to see where fate would lead him.
But now, he began to curse, and fate separated him from his comrades.
A gurgling sound alerted him. Röm prayed that the echoes of the tunnels would not play tricks on him again. If it weren't for these tunnels, the source of this grunt would have been close at hand.
He quickened his pace...... But he immediately turned around, and the voice of the black palatin monster in front of him warned him that there was no room for negotiation. He fled. Röm rushed to the nearest flank and jumped into the tunnel, the strange screams of the creatures he had thrown off passed his ears.
The Dark-Palate Monster rushed forward, and these inferior demons crawled all over the floor. walls, as well as ceilings. Röm leaned against the stone, he felt he had to go deeper into the tunnel, but now any movement might attract the attention of those enemies.
A dark-palate monster stopped in a nearby gap, sniffing the air. It crawled in, looking in the darkness
A black fist suddenly grabbed the black palate monster. Throw it in the direction the other monsters are heading. The dragonman whipped his whip and drove the remaining monsters forward.
The dwarf immediately recognized Lasker.
"Forward......" the black beast hissed, "the Queen's order......
Lasker and the Dark-Palate Monster left, and Röm hesitated in the crack for a moment to make sure they wouldn't see him, and followed closely.
Finally, he thought, he was going to get there. But where exactly is it, he must be patient and wait for the opportunity to discover.
And, at this point, Rohm wondered if it was too late to turn back.
Elidi didn't abandon her companions, at least not like Ronin's backup plan. Although the Draenei didn't think so, she still prayed that she would soon be able to go back to help the mage and the others.
And, with the help of Guò, she also freed Zzelaku - a betrayal that she never let go of - or rather, if she could find Crassus and Karek, it would be a miracle of miracles.
If they were alive at all.
The problem was that the priestess didn't have time to do what she wanted to do. She could even sense through her staff that the evil creatures of Sinestra were gathering in a cavern, and that they were becoming more powerful than before. In fact, some of the energy comes from the power that bothers her most...... It was the energy of another staff. Elidy was skeptical that the murderous thief was aware of what he had done.
As for this draenei, it was not so much the power she unleashed with her staff, but rather a spell that Ronin had given her just in case. All she had to do was figure out when to run away - and keep staring in the direction she wanted. Luo Ning deliberately created this spell so that she could and could only comprehend her own destiny.
However, she didn't get to where she expected. Although the ** master himself was able to carry her from one place to another, this spell did not work for some reason. Now, Elidy is standing in a tunnel in Grimbaatar, with no idea where she is and no one can help.
Suddenly. A voice she wouldn't want to hear filled the tunnel anyway. At this time, she realized that it was the roar of the black palate monster, fierce and brutal. If she was right, at least twenty were heading in her direction.
That's what Draenei just thought. The black palatin came like a tidal wave from a side passage. It was clear that she wasn't the target of their hunt, but when she appeared before them, the evil black dwarves let out a hungry roar. They bared their hideous teeth and swooped down on her.
Elidy spun her staff and stabbed the end of the staff into the throat of the first black-palate monster. When the guy fell. The second grabbed the staff's handle and clung to it. The weight caused Draenei's arm to sink.
Another dark palatin jumped over as she fell to the ground. Delaney stretched out his foot and kicked the monster out with force, knocking its head against the rock wall and fainting. Elidy then swung the staff vigorously, using the weight of the dark-palate monster attached to the staff to resist its allies. After she struck down the three monsters, the staff that Naru had given her finally came out of her hand.
It vanished, causing the dark-palate monster that had grabbed it to roll out along the passageway. But the ugly dwarf didn't roll too far, and seemed to crash into a huge black shadow.
"Delaney......" his voice was piercing. "Catch alive...... As long as you live ......"
The remaining black palate monsters gathered around her. Elidy raised her hand to summon the staff—
The dragonman quickly wrapped his whip around her wrist, unbelievably fast. Elidy's hand shook, and the staff, which was still looming, faded like mist.
Lasker tugged hard. Delaney threw himself forward and fell to the ground. Although she tried to summon the staff again as she fell, the black-palate monster had already pounced on her.
At that moment, a war cry shook through the passage. Behind the draconian appeared a dwarven warrior who seemed to have only one intact arm...... Therefore, he can only fight with one hand.
Elidy could barely believe her eyes: "Rom?"
The dwarven commander slammed his axe at the dragonman, who had no time to react. The thick blade of the axe smashed into the side of Lasker's skull, a blow that would not have been a threat if he had been a warrior, but for the seasoned dwarf, it was enough to stun an enemy much larger than him.
But instead of continuing to attack, Rohm ran towards the Delaney. Elidi also took advantage of the dwarf's appearance to stand up at the same time. She kicked down a startled black palate monster. and swung his staff to knock down the other.
However, in this low, narrow tunnel, the staff given by Gennaru did not provide much help in terms of weapons. It's a bit cumbersome. It's too long, and the Black Palate is too much to quickly respond to oncoming enemies. Elidi eventually dismisses the call and uses the hand-to-hand combat skills she learned in church instead.
Using her inertia, she flung a dark-palate monster at its companion. Then roll over and jump over another enemy and turn around and kick when you land. Knocked it into the wall.
At the same time, Röhm lightly carves a path through his savage foe, like a farmer harvesting grain. He walked in front of Elidy, behind whom three black-palate monsters had fallen to the ground, and two more were clinging to the wall with their wounds clutched.
"Go here!" He let out a low growl, pointing in the same direction he had come from.
"Where does this lead?"
"I don't care! But you can't go back, my lady!"
He said sincerely. By this time, Lasker had recovered, and the black dragonman was trying to squeeze a path out of the dark-palate monster, and the whip was in his hand again. Elidy hadn't noticed that the high-ranking guard had a giant battle axe strapped to his back. It was clear that Lasker couldn't use it effectively in this tunnel, so he kept using that long whip. However, she felt that neither she nor Roma should have been within range of the tomahawk's attack. It looked like the dragonman could split one of his opponents in half with a single axe.
Even though no one was sure where it would be safer, Roma pushed her in front of him. Elidi didn't speak, ready to defend herself against attacks from the front. (To be continued.) )
