Chapter 424: The Wheel of Fortune
Khadgar interjected, "Compared to the paradise they promised, the Black Swamp is quite disappointing. β
Garona shook her head, "Terrified, I was shocked when I first saw that blue and exotic sky. The land is full of vegetation as far as the eye can see. Some people can't accept this fact and go crazy. Most of them took refuge in the Fire Blade, and on that day countless new men were added to the Fire Blade's fiery red triangular flag. β
Garona touched her thick chin: "I was scared too, but I survived. And discovering my ancestry makes it easier for me to approach humans. My team ambushed Medivan. He killed everyone, but he spared me and left me alive to report to Gul'dan. Later, Gul'dan sent me here to be a spy, but I found myself ...... Hard...... The secret of betraying the old man. β
"Hesitant to whom to pledge allegiance. Khadgar commented.
"But I still have to tell you," Garona said, "I really don't know how many clans have poured into the Dark Gate. I don't know when their next comeback will be. I don't know where that portal came about. But you, Khadgar, you can find out. β
Khadgar was dazed: "Me?"
"Your vision," said Garona, "seems to be able to summon apparitions from the past, and even from the future. The first time I met you, I saw you summon a vision of Madison's mother. We were in Stormwind out of the blue, right?"
"Yes," Khadgar said, "so I always thought the demon in the library was realβthe illusion didn't change the surroundings. β
Garona interrupted his explanation with a wave of her hand, "But you can summon those illusions. You can see when the rift first appeared. You can find out who brought the orcs into Azeroth. β
"Well," Khadgar said, "I bet this man is also the mage or warlock who summoned the demon. It makes sense, the two things are connected. He looked at Garona, "You know, I never thought about it before. β
"I'd be happy to continue to provide questions," Garona looked happy, "as long as you can provide answers." β
It's an empty dining room again. The previous summoning circle had been swept away by the industrious Moros, and Khadgar had to reassemble it with crushed rose quartz and amethyst powder. Garona lit the menorah protruding from the wall, and then stood with him in the center of the circle.
"I warn you beforehand. He said to the orcs, "This could fail." β
"You're going to make it," said Garona, "I've seen you do it once before." β
"Summoning an illusion should work. "But there's no guarantee that it's the one we want." He made a mudra and began to chant magic. He tried his best every step of the way, and this time with Garona watching, he didn't want to make a fool of himself. Eventually, he unleashed the magic he had gathered. At the same time, he shouted loudly, "Tell me about the origin of the rift between Draenor and Azeroth!"
A strong gust of wind enveloped them, and the surroundings abruptly changed. It was warm and night, but from the window (there were windows in this dwelling), the night sky took on a red, the color of long-dried bloodstains, and only a few faint traces of starlight could penetrate the sky.
This is someone's quarters, maybe some orc chieftain. There was a blanket on the floor, and there was a huge flat plate that was used as a bed. In the center of the room is a dimly lit campfire. The stone walls are covered with weapons, as well as a large number of wall cabinets. One of the cabinets was open, revealing a bag of content, some of which had probably been stolen from a human or some other humanoid.
An orc tossed and turned on the bed, then sat up suddenly, as if he had just woken up from a nightmare. He stared in horror at the dark corners of the room, his savage, war-scarred face in the faint light of the stars. Even by orc standards, his face is quite ugly.
Garona gasped, "Gul'dan. β
Khadgar nodded, "He shouldn't be able to see you." "This man is the warlock who sent Garona to investigate. He was looking around this time, and he looked very honest. Suddenly, he curled up and hid in the blanket. His voice trembled.
"I can still see you," he said, "and even now, I thought I was awake." Maybe I just dreamed that I was awake. Just come on. Monsters in dreams. β
Garona grabbed Khadgar's shoulders, and Khadgar could feel her sharp nails digging deep into her flesh. But Gul'dan wasn't really talking to them. Rather, he was trembling at a ghost figure that had just drifted into view.
The ghost was very tall, taller than all the three people present, and it had a pair of broad shoulders. It loomed and floated, as if it weren't there at all. It comes with a hood. The voice is shrill and distant. Although the only source of light in the room was the fire, the ghost shadow had two shadows - one in the opposite direction of the fire, and the second pointed in the other direction, as if it was illuminated by other light sources.
"Gul'dan. The ghost said, "I want your people." I want your army. I want your qiΔ to assist me. β
"I have gathered all my soul bodyguards, monsters," Gul'dan said, Khadgar could hear the tremors in the orc's voice, "I have gathered all my warlocks, but they are all terrified in your presence. I have even summoned my almighty master, but even he can't stop you. You've tormented my dreams constantly, and now you're really here, you, the monster of dreams, have come to my world. Who are you and what are you?"
"You're afraid of me," said the tall figure, the voice of which made Khadgar feel a pair of cold hands caressing his back, "because you don't know me." Look at minecraft and understand your fears. Then, you don't have to be afraid anymore. β
With that, an air balloon appeared next to the tall, hooded figure. It's as smooth and bright as a soap bubble. It floats in the air, about a yard in diameter, and inside it displays a world full of lifeβblue skies, verdant earth.
This cloaked figure shows Azeroth.
Another bubble emerged, a third, a fourth. Grain farm in the summer sun. A black swamp overgrown with canals. Snowy glaciers in the Northland. The ornate towers of Stormwind Fortress.
and a lonely tower towering in the middle of a crater, clearly emerging in the moonlight.
He was showing Karazan to the orc warlock.
And the last bubble disappeared as soon as it was generated, and it was a dark scene beneath the waves. It's both real and fleeting. Khadgar, however, felt that power. It was a tomb at the bottom of the ocean, or a tomb, that seemed dead and silent, but like a strong heart, it radiated with unparalleled power. The image only existed for a moment, and then disappeared immediately.
"Gather your troops," the cloaked figure said, "gather your army and warriors, slaves and allies and send them through the Twisted Void." When you're ready, this qiΔ will be yours. β
Khadgar shook his head. The sound was like a thousand spikes piercing his heart. He immediately understood who the man was, and a sense of helpless fear rose from within him.
Gul'dan knelt down in front of the man and clasped his hands into fists: "I will, I will, for your supreme power." But who are you, and how do we get to that world?"
The figure raised a hand and lifted the hood, and Khadgar shook his head helplessly. He wanted to turn his face away, he knew who it was but he didn't want to see it with his own eyes.
A deeply wrinkled face with gray eyebrows. The emerald green eyes swayed with great wisdom and some danger. Garona, beside him, gasped.
"I, the Guardian," Medivan said to the orc warlock, "I'll open the way for you." I will crush the wheel of fate that binds me and free myself from it once and for all. (To be continued.) )
