Chapter 43: Blood Loss
Breakfast time the next day
Ivey and Betty are heading to the restaurant to eat
"I don't know if they succeeded?" Ivy put his hands behind his head and slowly shook forward.
"Aren't you very well arranged, not confident?" Betty asked rhetorically
"It's all children, no matter how well prepared they are, there will inevitably be accidents." Noble should be able to send it away, but the points should still be deducted.
The two of them passed by the corridor, and a large group of Gryffindor students gathered in front of the hourglass that recorded the scores of the house, looking at their own suddenly missing one hundred and fifty in a daze.
"Why are you being deducted 150 points?"
"Who! Such a big skill! โ
"150 points! Let me pull the shelf buckle, I can't buckle it so much. โ......
Before he could get closer, a large number of angry chatters came to his ears.
"It looks like it was an accident," Betty laughed, "but they're pretty good, and they can deduct 150 points." Nobel won't be counted."
"Don't guess, go and ask," Ivy quickened
Come inside the restaurant
"So- you guys screwed up again?" Of course, Ivy knew the result, and he was just here to disgust it. Again, he was expecting Gryffindor to lose the House Cup.
"Noble didn't mess up, we messed up." Harry's eyelids were dragging and his voice was weak. Hermione had the same expression.
"It's amazing, the two deducted 150 points"
"Not two, three, and Neville," Hermione covered her face
"Come, tell me what happened"
"Alas~ everything was going well. We took Noble to the top of the building and handed it over to Charlie's friends. And because he was wearing the Cloak of Invisibility, Malfoy failed to expose us, and was discovered by Professor McGonagall and locked in confinement. But on the way back, we got so carried away that we forgot the Cloak of Invisibility on the roof, and then we were caught by Filch. He took us to Professor McGonagall, who deducted fifty points each. As soon as he remembered last night, Harry kept banging his head on the table.
"That's only 100 points? What's going on with Neville? Betty said suspiciously
"He caught out in the break room and came out after him. Later, when he heard that Malfoy was going to report us, he was anxious to report to us, but he happened to be caught by Professor McGonagall passing by. Ron answered Betty's questions
"I didn't expect you to be quite righteous," Ivy patted Neville on the shoulder
Neville sat there unresponsive
"Neville didn't do anything wrong, he was very brave, he was just implicated by us." Hermione looked at Neville with an apologetic look in her eyes.
Neville didn't react, though. And from the current seat, you can see how unpopular Harry is. Everyone was far away from them, even the Gryffindors, only Ron and Ivey sat at the end with them.
At this moment, Malfoy walked over with a group of Slytherins.
"Come on! Everybody. Thank you to our hero, Harry Potter. Thanks to his excellent performance, we won the Academy Cup early. Malfoy laughed wildly. Although there were some episodes last night, the goal was achieved, and he managed to get Gryffindor out.
"Shut your foul mouth! Malfoy," Ron cursed
"You should be glad you're hurt, Weasley. Otherwise, I'm afraid you Gryffindor won't have enough points. โ
"Looks like your eyes are almost better, it's time for you to reminisce." Ron said, clenching his fists
"Hehe- what, your nose is good?" Malfoy looked surprised
"You โโ!" Ron was so angry that he was about to rush forward.
"Alright, Ron." Avila stopped him. Turning to Malfoy and saying, "You can go," in a soft, but unquestionable tone.
"Humph!" Malfoy was embarrassed, but he couldn't do much about Ivey. With a cold snort, he turned to leave. Anyway, it's over the mouth, and I'm very satisfied.
The three Harry, who were ridiculed, didn't say anything during the whole process, just silently suffered the consequences of themselves.
"Harry, take it easy. Isn't it just a deduction of some points, and I'll earn it later. Ivey persuaded
"That's it! After a while they forgot about it all. Fred and George have been losing points since they started school, and everyone loves them anyway. Ron chimed in
"But they never lost a hundred and fifty," Harry didn't feel any better
"Don't dwell on this. In the final analysis, such a result is not to blame others, it is because you yourself are too careless and too carried away. Now that the consequences have been done, it is too late to regret it. The rest of the days are a little more stable and see if there is any chance of recovery, which is what you should do. โ
Ivey wasn't worried about Harry, they would be resented by the other little wizards. Gryffindor's little wizard is a bit like an e-sports troll in his previous life, when it comes to cooking - garbage, retirement, find a factory to work like this, say anything. When the time comes, the misunderstanding will be resolved, and everyone is still a good brother. Very real.
"You're right," barely a little better
"Anyway, it's almost an exam, so you can calm down and study hard."
The days that followed were much more uneventful, with the trio and Neville soaking in the library all day, and Ivey going to see them once and never going again. He now exercises every day, practices spells, and cultivates relationships with Betty in his free time, and lives a very nourishing life. After all, both he and Betty belong to the category of people who don't have to worry about exams.
After a while. One evening, a few people were having a party on the balcony where Noble had been sent off, and Ivy prepared a barbecue for them to change their mood.
"It's so cold~" Neville snorted a skewer of beef and tightened his clothes.
"It's the top floor, of course it's cold," Ron nibbled on a lamb chop in his mouth
"We're going to go to Filch for punishment in the evening, Ivie, you can get us something to eat" The girl may be more afraid of the cold, and Hermione and Betty are wrapped in blankets.
"You're still in the mood to eat - you don't know what to do at night?" Ron counted
"You don't have to goโof course you don't have a backache when you stand and talk." Hermione immediately shot back
"Is it just you?" Betty asked
"And Malfoy," Hermione replied
"Heh~ just right. If you have a chance, you can beat him up and get angry. Ivey joked
"We think the same way, we all blame this bastard, so that we are hated by everyone." Hermione said hatefully
"Hermione, don't blame anyone else. It's us who don't be careful. Harry corrected, then "But that doesn't stop us from teaching him a lesson."
"That's right! Man," Ron chimed in. Neville on the side also nodded, "I'll count me in later."
"The more the merrier"
Poor Malfoy, may he return safely.
"By the way, I found out that Quirrell has a new movement today," Harry finished his small talk, getting down to business.
"You've found out again? So coincidentally, every time you bump into it. Ron looked constipated
"Don't interrupt," Harry continued, "Ivy punched him
"When I came out of the library today, I heard a voice in the classroom next to me. He crept in, and it was Quirrell inside, as if he was talking to someone. Listening to the tone, it looks like being threatened. But after he left, I also looked into the classroom, and there was no one else in it. Harry tried to be as concise as he could
"Anything else?" Seeing him stop, Ivy asked.
"WellโI saw that there was no one and wanted to leave, and the door to the classroom next to me suddenly opened. This time it was Snape, and he looked like he was probably spying on Quirrell. โ
"Is there anything unusual about him?"
"No, it's just that the steps are very brisk, maybe in a good mood."
