Chapter 65: Conflict
As the team moved forward, they finally met Lockhart himself.
A riotous off-white gown with a blue robe draped over it. Blonde hair and blue eyes, it's okay to look good, but the smile on his face is a little greasy. Surrounded by portraits of himself, all facing the crowd, smiling and revealing his slightly glaring white teeth.
"Narcissistic guy," Ron muttered quietly
"Get out of the way!" At this moment, a short, grumpy man holds up his camera and knocks Ron away
"Damn! I don't see anyone! Pay attention! Ron was annoyed
"I'm a reporter for the Daily Prophet, and you're all out of the way!" The short man ignored him, shouting and crashing through the crowd.
As he squeezed towards Betty, Ivey lifted his leg and kicked him to the ground, "What are you yelling about!" It's noisy! β
"Who! Who kicked me! He got up, dusted himself off, and glanced at the wreckage of the wreckage, "Damn! My camera! β
The screams caught Gilderoy Lockhart's attention. He looked up to see the man lying on the ground cleaning up his camera, and then Harry. Twisting his eyebrows and thinking for a while, he suddenly bounced up from his chair
"Harry Potter!"
"What! Harry Potter is also here! "It turns out that Harry Potter is also his fan~" ββββ brainless fans exclaimed
Lockhart strode towards Harry, and the crowd automatically moved out of the way. When he came to Harry, he grabbed his arm and dragged him to the stage without asking him if he agreed. The two were on the same stage, which caused the audience to burst into warm applause. Harry's face turned red, trying to break free but he couldn't break free several times, and Lockhart held his hand tightly and faced the audience together.
"Back to normal!"
The short man didn't care about anyone. Holding up the repaired camera, he frantically pressed the shutter. The flashing lights made Harry's eyes hurt.
"Look at the camera, Harry," Lockhart said with his trademark smile on his face, "we're both going to make it to the front page." β
"The ability to rub traffic is still strong"
Frankly speaking, Ivey still admires Lockhart, and believes that he is really thick-skinned. If you don't say that people are so successful, this kind of ability to rub your old face hard is not something that ordinary people can do.
"Ladies and gentlemen!" Lockhart waved his hands to silence everyone
"It was a special day, and Harry Potter's arrival was a surprise. I decided to give him my signed autobiography for free. β
There was another round of applause
"At the same time, I would like to take this wonderful moment to announce a small matter. But before I do that, I want to congratulate Harry. He will get something more valuable than his clumsy. He'll get - no! To be precise, he and his classmates will get a real, magical me. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, it is my pleasure and pride to announce that this September, I will be the Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Let's cheer for the bright future of Hogwarts! β
Ignore the screams of the brainless women. Ivy noticed that Malfoy was leaning on the arch ladder and looked down with disdain.
"It's going to be a good show again," he gestured to Betty, knagging her.
Harry was finally freed from Lockhart's clutches. Holding Lockhart's full autographed book, he left the counter dazed, and staggered along.
"It must feel great to be on the same stage with him!" Hermione said enviously
"It sucks!" Come to Ginny. Harry put the books in her new crucible barrel and "gave them to you"
"Bang bang" Malfoy clapped and slowly walked down the stairs
"Feels great, Potter," he said, sneering
Malfoy's voice stirred Harry's fighting spirit. He straightened up and confronted Malfoy with his head held high.
"The famous Harry Potter is here! Even bookstores can follow the front page of the news! Obviously you're used to being in the spotlight, you must love it," Malfoy fired up
"Don't talk nonsense, it's not like that!" Ginny glared at Malfoy
"Yo-Potter, your little girlfriend?" Malfoy longed
Ginny was told the central matter, and her face immediately blushed.
"He's still really helping"
The two hid in the crowd and watched with relish. The mouth cannons of both sides are basically reserved items every year, and they are less than once to see them.
"Ron and Hermione are here," Betty said. After seeing Malfoy, Ron hurriedly pulled Hermione to give Harry a stand.
"It's useless for them to come. These people tied together can't quarrel with Malfoy. β
"It's not going to start, is it?"
"Probably not. Both parents are there"
Sure enough, Ron's face flushed with mockery. When you put the book in your hand, you have to do it.
"Ron!" Mr. Weasley arrived just in time "What are you going to do?" It's too messy here, let's get out. "Everybody went outside
"Oops - Arthur Weasley" is Lucius. He stood behind Malfoy, his hands on his shoulders, the exact same smile on his face.
"You're here too, Lucius," Mr. Weasley said coldly
"I heard that my brother has been very busy with work lately. With so many plagiarisms, there must be a lot of overtime pay, right? Lucius was the first to fire. Then he reached into Ginny's cauldron and pulled a tattered copy of the Beginner's Guide to Transfiguration from Lockhart's fine book.
"Tskβit doesn't seem to be," he asked, flipping through the book, "but what's the good of being a scumbag among wizards if you don't even get paid?" β
"We have very different opinions about what the scum of wizards is" Mr. Weasley was not irritated by him, his voice still cold.
"Of course," Lucius' gaze fell on the Grangers, who were watching them with trepidation, "look at the friends you've made, they-"
"What's wrong with us," Ivey's flat voice suddenly came from behind Mr. Weasley
Ivey was going to watch the show all the time. He felt that both parents were there, and at most the yin and yang weirdness would be over. But he obviously underestimated the strength of the Malfoy family's taunting bloodline, and if he didn't come out to stop it, he would probably be able to really fight.
If this happens, it's not good for the Weasleys. To deal with a sinister guy like Lucius, you have to be more insidious than him. Like Harry, Emancipating Dobby is a textbook example. If you mess around on the surface, he will only grab the handle and make a fuss.
"Mr. Lucius Malfoy, do you have any grievances against me as a friend of the Weasleys?" Ivy walked over to the man
Seeing Aviti Weasley come out, Lucius's pupils shrank. But he soon regained his composure, "What a coincidence, I just met Mr. Shafiq in Tumbledown Alley in the morning, and I didn't expect to meet him here again." β
"Yes, I blame that I didn't look at the yellow calendar when I went out, and I didn't pick the day."
"Hehe- I beg my pardon. Mr. Shafiq should think more about his family, if not for himself. Continuing to mingle with a family like Weasley, which disgraced wizards, one has to worry about the future of the Shafiq family. β
"Yes, can you please tell Mr. Malfoy who we should hang out withβyou?" Or Voldemort? β
"Shhhh
As Ivey said the name, the entire bookstore fell silent for a moment. Countless gasps came from the otherwise noisy crowd.
"Y-how dare you!" Lucius' trembling hand pointed at Ivey. Unbelievably said
"What don't you dare. It was always Voldemort who hid from Shafiq! β
"That's right!"
Lockhart, who had just pretended to be dead, walked over from the stage
"I, Gilderoy Lockhart, a third-class Commander of the Order of Merlin, and an honorary member of the League Against the Black Arts. I don't mean to show off or brag about anything, but these veritable honors are proof that I am fighting the darkness. Voldemort has proven not to be invincible, and we should not be living in his shadow. β
"Lord Lockhart is right! We shouldn't be afraid of Voldemort anymore, and we shouldn't be taboo about the name anymore! β
"That's right, we have Dumbledore! We've got Lockhart! We have Harry Potter! "ββββ brain-dead powder has the benefits of brain-dead powder, and it is easy to be brainwashed.
Even if Ivey doesn't like this guy, he has to say - Lockhart has a talent for speaking. The heroic effect is vividly reflected at this moment, and the effect of such encouragement and motivation is the meaning of the existence of heroes.
Why Harry is adored by the wizarding world. Because he's powerful? Fart! He has a yarn power. Hermione could press him to the ground and rub him.
The reason for his greatness is that he let the entire wizarding world know that Voldemort can be defeated. His deeds succeeded in inspiring people and giving them hope of victory. Even some magical creatures know the name of Harry Potter, and it is conceivable how much confidence Harry's appearance has given the wizarding world.
Looking at the excited crowd, Lucius pursed his lips deeply, his gray-blue eyes flickering. The hands holding the cane were clasped together, and the knuckles of the ten knuckles were white.
"Humph! - Suicide"
The cold gaze turned to Ginny, shoving the second-hand spellbook back into her bucket. The corners of his mouth sneered mockingly
"I hope you'll be so brave then. Draco, let's go. Lucius regained his demeanor and led Malfoy out of the bookstore.
"I really want to slam my fist in his face!" Mr. Weasley, looking at the backs of the two leaving, said viciously
"That must hurt," Fred continued
"Of course," Mr. Weasley flexed his arms in a strong gesture, "I'll let him remember it for the rest of his life."
"He's saying your fist is going to hurt. I recommend using your feet directly, with shoe protection and kicking hurts," George echoed solemnly
"Makes sense"
"Kick him directly" - the topic is getting farther and farther away
A few people chatted and walked outside. Everything was also purchased, and everyone was ready to go back.
"Huh? What about Hermione and her family? Walking out of the bookstore, Ivy turned around and counted a few people
Mr. Weasley turned around. I looked left and right, but I didn't notice Mrs. Molly: "Ginny, where is your mother?" β
"It's not still in there, is it?"
