Chapter 105: Choice
"You're really going to give him the diary," Betty looked like you were dying
"I can only give him," Ivy yawned, "Tom has become wary of me, and probably won't reveal any more useful information to me." No matter how much I say, I can only disgust him, and it has no substance. β
"You can't even ask, Harry, just do they? Tom wasn't stupid, he must have known that you were replacing Harry for a trick. And if you give the diary to Harry, don't you send it back to Gryffindor? Ginny finally took the initiative to throw away the diary, so she was not afraid that she would be controlled again? β
"You don't have to worry about Tom's question. And it's not all bad for the diary to go back to Gryffindor. First of all, it didn't know that Ginny had been exposed, and it was important for it to get back into Ginny's hands. β
"What if it changes someone else?"
"No way, not enough time. It knows me well, and it should have been obtained from Ginny, and the news that the mandrake is about to mature is probably not going to run away. It also knows that time is running out. Judging from the fact that Ginny can still get out of control, its ability is average, and there is no time to develop others. β
"Okay, you're right, you go on."
"Hmm. For it to reach Ginny, it had to stay with Harry. So whether it's true or not, he has to expose enough inside stories to gain Harry's trust. So, it's up to Harry to figure it out. β
"But what's the use of fake news?"
"True or not, there is always a direction. Besides, we are not ignorant, and we can judge whether the news is true or false. Ivey went out of his way to answer Betty's questions
"Even if the heir's clue is solved, what about Ginny?" Betty asked again
"Ahh
"I'll leave that to Harry," he said, rubbing his brow, also very tired.
"It's he who wants to drill into the secret room, so the risk will naturally be borne by him" After a pause, he said, "We don't want to be bad guys, but we can't always be good guys." I'll explain these tough questions to Harry first, and we don't care what they decide. β
Hearing this, Betty didn't ask any more questions, and the lounge fell silent.
Until Betty finished the coffee in her hand
"See if it replies?" Betty got up and stretched
Ivey flipped through the diary, "Well, back, it seems that I've figured out how to make it up." β
"I'll see," Betty squeezed over, looking at the journal.
"Wizards of the pure-blood family, I don't trust" appears on the page
"See, the pure-blooded reputation is so bad" Looking at the handwriting that appeared, Ivy teased.
"Listen to that, it's either half-blood or Muggle," Betty on the side understood
"It's not necessarily true or fake," Ivy said, not to think too much. And then he wrote, "Don't be so hostile, you're a Muggle wizard? β
"My father was a Muggle"
Well, there's a word of truth.
"It's weird, it seems like most of the male Muggles are found by witches, and rarely the other way around. Your grandfather too," Betty said with a laugh
"It's normal. Men are all tasked with the continuation of the family. While most wizards do not discriminate against Muggles, female wizards are certainly the best choice for the sake of the genetic excellence of their offspring. While explaining, Ivey didn't stop.
"My mother is also of mixed race, so your concerns don't come to me. By the way, what was your impression of me? β
There was no response
"Can you tell me who it is?"
β...β
"I'm pretending to be deaf and dumb again," Betty got up and refilled her coffee. She turned around with the kettle and asked, "Do you still want it?" β
Ivy waved his hand
After sitting back, I looked at his constipated expression and smiled, "What, didn't you look like you ate it before?" β
"Humph! This guy has a ghost in his heart, and he is afraid that I will find a flaw, so he doesn't want to say a word. Ivy pouted helplessly, "I thought I wouldn't be able to do anything about it."
He wrote, "If you don't want to say anything, there's no need to stay." I'll throw you under a cliff and pray I'll be picked up. β
After writing, Ivy closed the diary and went upstairs to "go back to sleep"
As soon as I went up the stairs, the diary suddenly vibrated violently like a mobile phone. The two glanced at each other, sat back on the couch and opened the diary.
"What do you want to know?"
"This guy is cheap!" Ivy hated the root of his teeth, "Say no, you have to come hard." β
"Alright, hurry up and ask" Betty looked at him with a little amusement
"Name, you know who I'm asking"
"Colin Creevey"
After the "hehe" font appeared, Ivy sneered.
"Colin?" Betty's mind flashed a small figure holding a camera, "Gryffindor's little photographer?" The one who took a picture of the two of us? β
"Uh-huh," Ivy replied
"Why did he throw you away?"
"I don't know who threw me, Colin hasn't spoken to me in a long time."
"This guy knows a lot of things. Colin has been petrified, and we can't verify it for now. Betty also sneered
"Hogwarts hasn't been at peace lately, you know?" He continued
"Yes. The Chamber of Secrets opened again, Colin and I had spoken. I also reminded him to be careful."
"According to my research, the Chamber of Secrets was opened once fifty years ago, right?"
"Yes, and I know all about it, but I can't tell you."
"Why?"
"Again, I don't believe you."
"Did you tell Colin then?"
"Said some"
"You don't believe me, but you believe Colin"
"He's a Muggle wizard, and most importantlyβhe's a Gryffindor."
Seeing this slightly suggestive remark, Ivy smiled smugly. He elbowed his elbow to Betty, "I'm not wrong, the purpose is revealed." β
"Okay, okay~ you guessed accurately" Betty elongated her voice, like coaxing a child.
"We need to know the information in order to resolve the matter. How are you willing to help? β
"Harry Potter is Colin's idol, and I've heard a lot about him."
"Yo, it's all starting to be clear" The content that emerged made Betty's eyes light up
"Meow~" felt the owner's emotions, and had been lying on the back of the sofa, Best, who was sleeping, jumped on the diary, and scratched curiously with his little paws.
"Go, go, go, sleep your sleep," Ivy pushed it aside, "add to the chaos~"
Betty reached out and picked up the cat, "Is it necessary to ask?" Sleep to go? β
Ivy nodded, and wrote the last sentence "I'll give it to Harry, I hope you don't let us down." Otherwise, you know the consequences."

The next day restaurant
"Smack!"
Harry was busy fighting the food on the table when a black notebook slammed into front of him. He looked up, and the figures of Ivey and the others came into view.
"You're here, you're done studying the diary?" He put down his knife and fork and picked up his book.
"Well, partially," they sat down beside Hermione
"Do you figure it outβwellβhowβwhat's going on?" With a slurred mouth, Ron leaned over to Harry with a loaf of bread in his mouth.
"Can you swallow what is in your mouth before you speak," Hermione looked at him with a frown
"You're nosy," Ron clearly didn't like that. He took a big bite of bread as if demonstratively, chewing and shouting.
Ivy and Betty ate their breakfasts peacefully, ignoring the little couple's tricks. This kind of plot is played out almost every day. Although Ivey has a wife, she can't help but be surrounded by the sour smell every day.
Fortunately, there are more important things that they need to pay attention to. After a brief fight, I turned my attention to the diary.
Flipped through two pages
"It's not changing," Ron couldn't hold back, looking up in confusion.
"What do you expect to change. You can understand this diary as a vehicle to which Tom Riddle attaches his own consciousness. Ivey also said while eating. But his voice was clearer
"Wow-cool~" Ron reached out and touched as if he had discovered a new world
"But how are we going to communicate with him? Spiritism? Hermione asked
"Of course the diary is written," said Ivy as he took a mouthful of ham
"Can I communicate with him by writing on paper?" Harry hurriedly asked
"Well, write down whatever you want"
"You didn't ask something?"
"Nope. But he knew about the secret room, and he just didn't want to talk to me. β
"Wacky guy," Ron muttered
"yes, he named you by name," Ivy looked at Harry
"Me?" Harry's eyes widened in surprise
"Surprised," Ivy smiled, "Don't worry, I'll tell you from the beginning"
......
After listening to his narration, the crowd fell silent. Long
"Since this diary is the culprit, is it too risky for us to hold it? Leave it to Dumbledore. Hermione said
"I don't care, if Harry agrees," Ivy shrugged casually
His eyes were instantly focused on Harry. Hermione's suggestion was undoubtedly the most appropriate, and it was up to him to choose now.
Harry slowly looked up to meet everyone's gaze, "Is it dangerous if I keep it?" β
"There's definitely a risk anyway. But in principle, as long as the diary is no longer available to Ginny, there is no problem. Ivey replied
Harry pondered for a moment and decided, "Then we'll keep it for now."
"Harry!" Hermione clearly disagreed
"I'll keep the diary with me and I'll never let Ginny get it."
"But why take the risk? Now, as long as we stay up for time, we are sure to win. What if you were negligent and Ginny got the diary and released the basilisk to kill? "Hermione didn't understand Harry's brain circuitry at all
"I want to know the truth," Harry's voice was a little deeper. The choice to put Ginny at risk is not as easy as it sounds: "Tom Riddle, I always feel that this name is familiar, and it must have something to do with me. β
At this point, Hermione couldn't refute it, and everyone was silent.
"Brother" Ron suddenly grabbed Harry, "I'll help you read the book"
This sentence was tantamount to acquiescing in Harry's approach
"You're messing aroundβ" Hermione's tone loosened slightly, but still reluctantly. She squeezed Betty's forearm as her eyes kept gesturing to Harry's position.
