Chapter 118: A Successful Ending
"Ha-I think we can talk about it again~" As soon as he resumed his actions, he gasped against the wall
"What else do you want to say, you scoundrel!" Hermione snorted
"I have money, a lot of money. You let me go" Lockhart was unkempt like a beggar at this time.
"Spare you? Let you out and continue to pit people? Ron scoffed
"Can't kill him," Betty said. She looked at Ivey, and that was mostly what she said to him.
"I don't have a grudge against him," Ivy shrugged
He stepped forward, looked at Lockhart, who was cowering, and said bluntly, "Mr. Lockhart, if you want to live, give me the key to the vault."
"What- you want to take it all!"
"Hehe" Ivy smiled and didn't speak, a cloud of energy gathered in his hand and slammed into the wall.
"Bang!" Gravel splattered, and the wall had a pothole the size of a basketball. Lockhart shrunk even tighter.
"I'm only counting to three, it's money or life, you choose" He looked directly at Lockhart, and a cloud of energy rolled up in his hand.
"One"
"Okay - I'll give! I'll give! Lockhart rummaged through his body. Finally, hand Ivey a golden key.
"How many?" Ivy dissipated his energy and took the key
"Gringotts Vault No. 250"
"You're really a good match," Ivy scoffed meaninglessly, then "If it's fake, you should know the consequences"
"N-no," Lockhart stammered
"Hmm~" Ivey was so satisfied that he punched Lockhart in the jaw. Poor light of dawn fainted again.
"What now?" Ron said
"Leave him to Dumbledore," Harry suggested
"Okay," Ivy thought for a moment, "then let's go back."
"Fox," he shouted
Fawkes played the sound of strings and landed on his shoulders from the air.
"I'm going to have to trouble you to make two more trips," joked with a smile
"Ahh
"Harry, you four go first, grab Fawkes's feet, two on each side."
"What about you?" Hermione asked
"I'll have to take Lockhart, it's heavier, wait for the next batch with Betty"
"Good"
Fox flew over the four and lowered his feet.
"Can it move us?" Ron said with a skeptical look
"Fawkes isn't an ordinary bird," Harry was confident. He grabbed Phoenix's feet first, then nodded to Ron.
"Boom" Ron swallowed, following Harry's example, and grabbed Fawkes' other foot.
Fawkes flapped his wings vigorously and gradually began to rise, and Harry and Ron were carried into the air about a meter above the ground. Then the Fox maintains altitude like a helicopter, hovering in the air.
"Hermione, Ginny, you hold their legs. "Harry and the two are not Ivey after all, and their arms are not strong enough, so they have to hold it with both hands." Otherwise, you can still hold two ladies.
The two hesitated for only a second. Ginny went to Harry, and Hermione went to Ron.
"Hold on," Ivey reminded. Hearing this, the arms of the two women tightened even tighter.
"Hmm" Ivey snapped his fingers "OK, it's okay to go Fawkes"
With a long โโโโ roar, Fawkes flew into the sky with the four of them.
"Harry did a good job," Betty said, looking at the four of them flying away.
"It's a little stronger than last year. But it's still a bit risky, and Ginny wouldn't have been in danger without having to be so troublesome. โ
"It's a bit risky, but it's not all bad." Betty smiled. In the distance, Fawkes led four people, as if carrying two sausages.
"That's right," Ivy said, glancing over Betty to the four of them
It was a very strange picture, it felt like an old mother and an old father looking at their child in love.
Soon, Fawkes was on his way back
"Good work," Ivy handed over two pieces of honey sauce steak
After Fox ate it, he rubbed his hand affectionately.
"Let's go, you hold Lowe" Ivy grabbed its feet with one hand and put the other hand around Betty's waist "Fawkes took him with him"
Fox reached out and hooked Lockhart and flew off again, quickly rushing out of the pipe.
Ivy let go of her arms and hugged Betty to the ground.
"Boom!" This is the sound of Lockhart landing on the ground
"Let's go to Dumbledore now?" The first four were still waiting here, and Harry asked when he landed.
"Yes, I just don't know if the principal is here?" Ivey didn't have much to say
"Phewโ" Fawkes shouted, and flew forward first.
"Looks like let's follow it," Harry said
"Go," he said, picking up Lockhart and following
After turning a few corners, the group arrived at the door of Professor McGonagall's office. When Ivy put Lockhart down, Harry knocked on the door, then pushed it open.
"Ginny โโ!" Lady Molly's scream was harsher than Tom's voice when he died
She rushed at a speed that was extremely out of shape and hugged Ginny. Mr. Weasley took a step slower, and the two hugged their daughter tightly. Harry looked past them and into the room. Dumbledore stood in front of the fireplace, smiling at him. Professor McGonagall exhaled abruptly, as if her hanging heart had finally been relieved.
At this time, Mrs. Molly let go of Ginny and hugged everyone one by one, "You saved him!" Thank you โ thank you! โ
"We both arrived last, and it's all thanks to the three of them," Betty said with some embarrassment as she was hugged by Lady Molly.
"How did you do that?" Mr. Weasley was both frightened and admiring
"That's what we want to know," Professor McGonagall stepped forward
Harry glanced back at his friends. After a moment's hesitation, he walked over to his desk and placed the Sorting Hat, the Silver Sword, and the remains of Tom's diary on the table.
Then, he began to tell the whole story slowly. From spotting Ginny killing Hagrid's, to Harry hearing whispers of terror. From the appearance of the heir, to the basilisk that deduced the monster. From picking up the diary, to finding out the true identity of the heir, to locating the location of the secret room. This narrative, which lasts for more than 10 minutes, not only tells the whole incident in detail, but also mixes some logical reasoning and complex psychological activities. Everyone listened attentively, and the only sound in the room was the noise of firewood burning.
When it comes to Ginny being bewitched by Voldemort's diary, Harry doesn't shy away from it, even though he fears that Ginny will be punished. Mrs. Molly was teary-eyed when she heard this, but Mr. Weasley was surprised.
"It's wonderful - the story of breaking more than a hundred school rules really doesn't disappoint," Professor McGonagall, who was always serious, also spat out appropriately
"But when you first notice something is wrong with Miss Weasley, you should react in time!" She suddenly reprimanded loudly, and then said slowly, "Of course, your concerns are not unreasonable. In that case, I really can't guarantee that I'll take your word for it. "Professor McGonagall is absolutely impartial
"Let's get back to business. I was able to locate the Chamber of Secrets through my magic, but how did you escape from that deathโPotter? โ
