Since the extermination of Chahar, Huang Taiji has been very happy, and for the emperor, good things have been good and wars have been won one after another.
And the son he and Hai Lanzhu had turned one year old again, and Huang Taiji was anxious to congratulate his son.
Although this Hai Lanzhu is just a substitute, Dong Ge is estimated to never be able to find it, and Huang Taiji feels that Hai Lanzhu is the real Hai Lanzhu at the moment.
Because Hai Lanzhu and Dong Ge are very similar, Huang Taiji thinks that she may be the reincarnation of Dong Ge.
Although Hai Lanzhu is not young when she enters the palace, she is already twenty-six years old, and she is considered the oldest in Shengjing's harem.
But this did not prevent Huang Taiji from favoring her.
built a Guan Ju Palace for her, prepared to make her child the crown prince, and celebrated her child many times.
However.
When a person is blessed in this world beyond herself.
Maybe disaster will strike.
Let's take a look at how Huang Taiji doted on Hai Lanzhu and how she died.

Borzigit Hailanzhu, born in the 37th year of Wanli (1609), she is the sister of Empress Xiaozhuang Wen, 4 years older than Empress Xiaozhuang Wen. Hai Lanzhu was 26 years old when she married Huang Taiji, 9 years later than Empress Xiaozhuang Wen and Huang Taiji.
In the first year of Chongde (1636), she was canonized as the concubine of Dafu Jinchen in the East Palace, and she was the same wife as the Dafu Jinna Muzhong in the West Palace, and she was given to live in the "Guan Ju Palace". On the eighth day of July in the second year of Chongde, Hai Lanzhu gave birth to the eighth son of Huang Taiji. For this reason, Huang Taiji ordered a general amnesty for the world.
"Manchu Archives of the Inner Academy of History before the Qing Dynasty entered the customs" recorded: "October 16 of the eighth year of Tiancong (1634). Wu Keshan and Hong Taiji of the Horqin Department led the ministers to send their sister to. Khan and all the blessings are coming, and a big banquet is set up for blessings. This is the earliest relevant record of Hailanzhu's appearance, and it is also mentioned in the "Qing History Manuscript" revised during the Republic of China.
In the first year of Chongde, Huang Taiji called the emperor, sealed the harem, and sealed Hailanzhu as "Concubine Chen". And gave the "Guan Ju Palace", Hai Lanzhu's status ranked second among the five palaces. Second only to his aunt Empress Xiaoduanwen.
In the second year of Chongde, Hai Lanzhu gave birth to the eighth son of the emperor, and the emperor Taiji was ecstatic, feasted the ministers, and issued the first amnesty decree of the Qing Dynasty. The amnesty decree stipulates that all imprisoned persons shall be exempted from all crimes, except for the ten crimes of committing or burning down temples, mausoleums, and palaces, defecting and murdering, poisoning, witchcraft, stealing sacrifices to heaven and royal utensils, beating grandparents and parents, selling brothers, wives and false accusations against husbands, civil strife, and enchanting the party and robbing people during the day. (This decree is described below.) Eight days later, he held a major ceremony in the Shengjing Imperial Palace, and issued the first amnesty decree since the Qing Dynasty for the birth of the eighth son. The edict reads: "Since ancient times, when the king has a birthday celebration, he will issue an edict to grant amnesty to the country, which is the grand rule of the ancient emperor." Today, the princess of Guan Ju Palace gave birth to the emperor's heir, and the ceremony of the Emperor is to make the land of politics and religion at home and abroad be blessed ......". The edict stipulates that except for the ten evils, there is no forgiveness for all other crimes. Huang Taiji also named Concubine Chen's mother as Concubine Heshuo Xian and rewarded her with a guard of honor. Who knows that God is not beautiful, this child was born only half a year ago, and died before he could name it. Huang Taiji was saddened. Concubine Chen herself is of course more hurt, but Huang Taiji's love for her has not diminished a little, and when the first 7 princes were born, no large-scale celebrations were held, and there was no amnesty. After that, Concubine Zhuang gave birth to the 9th son, and the concubine of Lintoe Palace gave birth to the 11th son, which was not handled so ceremoniously. It can be seen that because of the love of Concubine Chen, the eighth son of the emperor is favored, so he "loves the house and Wu".
In the celebration of the birth of the eighth son, the leaders of various Mongolian tribes came to offer a large number of congratulatory gifts, and for a time, the city of Shengjing (now Shenyang) was very lively. At this time, Huang Taiji opened up the territory and expanded the territory, dominated the Northeast, coupled with his wife and childbirth, everything went smoothly, which can be described as extremely proud. But in response to the saying "good times don't last long", the pampered eighth son of the emperor only lived less than a year old, and died before he could be named.
In September of the sixth year of Chongde in the Qing Dynasty (1638), Huang Taiji led the Eight Banners and the Iron Cavalry of the Mongol Horqin and other departments in Monan, and fought a decisive battle in Songshan Jinzhou with the Ming Dynasty army Hong Chengchou. Just when the life-and-death struggle of hundreds of thousands of sabers and swords on both sides was in full swing, the envoys of Shengjing came to report in panic on the 12th that "Concubine Guan Ju Palace is sick". Huang Taiji, who loved both the country and the beauty, heard that Hai Lanzhu was ill, and immediately summoned the generals to let them stay and hold on, and he drove back to Shengjing in the early morning of the next day. All the way in a hurry, to the 17th night stationed on the old side, just after a watch, the Shengjing envoy reported that "Concubine Chen is sick". Knowing that Hai Lanzhu was seriously ill, Huang Taiji pulled out the camp overnight, urged the war horse, and couldn't wait to plug in his wings and fly back to his concubine. In the early morning of the 18th, he told Hai Lanzhu that he had died of anger for the third time "Concubine Chen", for the Huang Taiji on the way was really like five thunders, he flew into Shengjing, rushed into the Qing Gate, and went straight to Guan Ju Palace, but it was indeed a step too late, Guan Ju Palace was fragrant and jade, and Hai Lanzhu, who was Chinese New Year's Eve three years old at the time, had closed his eyes forever.
The beauty is desperate, and the hero's heart is broken. Huang Taiji couldn't accept the cruel reality of Hai Lanzhu's death. He had passed out several times due to excessive grief, which made the queen's concubines and ministers panic, and they advised him to "protect himself, do not be involved in affection, and cherish self-love". Huang Taiji also blamed himself and said: "When Taizu collapsed, he didn't taste this, and the birth of heaven was a woman." But Hai Lanzhu's voice and smile still make him unforgettable. The confidant will leave forever, even if Huang Taiji is the Son of Heaven, there is no other way, all he can do is to express his sorrow. He held a grand funeral for his beloved concubine and frequently held various memorials. On the day of the first day of the twenty-ninth day of September, he personally led hundreds of civil and military officials and their wives there. After the salute, the memorial text read out was full of affection, "The Emperor's Edict:
"The emperor offered sacrifices to the concubine of Guan Ju Palace. He was born in the year of Yiyou. Three out of thirty. He was born on September 18 of the year of Xin. I've met you. Affectionate. I want to share in the wealth. I don't want to be fast. The middle way is gone. I miss my love before I was born. Although I haven't forgotten it. Remembrance sighs. It is to prepare the sacrifice. With heartfelt feelings. He still ordered the lama monk to recite the scriptures satirically, and wished you an early birth and a blessed land. In the end, Huang Taiji personally knelt down in front of Hai Lanzhu's tomb to lay the three lords, the kings' ministers and the envoys of foreign vassal states to pay tribute.
