Chapter 115: Fertilizer

The fertilizer production base, which was previously in the name of the Lopez family and cooperated with Donghua Group, has completed a large part of the infrastructure construction at this time.

On the side of Donghua Group, even Wu Heguang personally went to the factory and kept an eye on each production workshop, striving to complete all the equipment on time.

Although there is still some time before the deadline for the handover of the equipment, the contract between the two parties was signed in September '19, and the equipment will be transported to Luzon by mid-June this year.

Seeing that there were still about four months left, Wu Heguang did not dare to be careless at this time.

After all, this time the order is very urgent, 10 months to complete all the equipment manufacturing, basically the production line has been pulled to the limit, he also transferred a large number of manpower, to ensure the current production speed.

Especially some time ago, several spare parts suppliers in Jiangcheng and Lianghu areas could not supply on time, which made Wu Heguang a little anxious, and had to temporarily increase the price and find other factories to replace him.

After all, this piece of equipment is worth hundreds of millions of US dollars, and the key equipment, in the synthetic ammonia production line, some spare parts can only be manufactured by a special factory, and even some parts suppliers are doing it by one company.

This makes Wu Heguang a little anxious these days, and keeps asking those suppliers to ensure the timely supply of parts.

And the Lopez family is also urging, and the excuse is also very justified.

That is, now Luzon grain is facing the attack of ABCD, and the price of pesticides and fertilizers has risen abnormally, which makes Luzon more urgent to realize the localization of pesticides and fertilizers.

……

The other side.

At this time, Luzon's supply of fertilizers and pesticides was indeed a bit serious.

After all, chemical giants such as Dow, BASF, Bayer, and DuPont wear the same pants as ABCD.

If it weren't for the chemical fertilizers and pesticides supplied by some Huaguo chemical enterprises, Luzon would have been eaten to death by these guys.

But this situation is not set in stone.

In the Limanan biogas fermentation plant in southern Luzon.

After the fermentation of the genetically modified methanium bacteria, the remaining fermentation waste liquid residue is quickly sucked into another building on the west side of the plant.

Employees wearing protective suits all over the body, operating the equipment, the liquid waste residue is thrown out by the drum to remove most of the water, and the remaining waste residue passes through the production line, adding a small amount of wood chips and grass meal, and pouring it into long plates.

The long plates are then transported by a conveyor belt to the next plant, which is a mushroom plantation, where employees in protective suits inject each tray with bacteria.

There are already mushrooms growing in the factory, which look like ordinary mushrooms, but when the employees harvest the mushrooms, the long tray used as a culture medium is sent to another factory.

In this building, the medium in which mushrooms have grown is removed and fed into a sifting machine.

After shaking and washing, the medium is separated from the secondary culture material, as well as the mycelial nodules of the mushroom, which are sent to the pheromone sterilization furnace and high-temperature sterilization furnace, and finally through the pulverizer and auxiliary materials, it is turned into bags of organic nitrogen fertilizer with a nitrogen content of 12%.

Zhang Wei, who is in charge of Haitian Agriculture, grabbed a handful of powder and smiled at Brie, the general manager of Jade Energy:

"Yes, the recent feedback from local cooperatives using the organic fertilizer we produce is very good, the amount of urea per mu has been reduced by about 62%, and the soil compaction has also been reduced, and the soil organic matter content can be maintained in the second season of cultivation, and there will be no obvious decline in organic matter."

"It's good to use it, so that our other biogas fermentation plants can also be retrofitted." Brie replied happily.

They have also introduced fermented residue before, and although the fertility and organic matter content are quite good, there are many problems.

One of the most troublesome problems is that the nutrients of the muck are uneven, it is difficult to determine the amount of use, and it is easy to cause fertilizer damage.

After the purification of transgenic mushrooms and transgenic rhizobia, it is not only turned into organic fertilizer, but also obtained a large amount of organic nitrogen through rhizobia.

"General Manager Brie, what is the current output of this factory?"

"It can produce about 5,000~6,000 tons per month, and if other biogas fermentation plants are renovated, it is estimated that it can reach about 300,000 tons per month."

Zhang Wei evaluated it and found that this output can replace 100,000 tons of agricultural urea (nitrogen content 42%~46%).

The reason why so much can be replaced is that urea will lose at least about 50% during use.

The long-term effect of organic fertilizer will improve the nitrogen utilization rate.

Of course, chemical fertilizers are still essential, and when fast top dressing is required, organic fertilizers are not as good as chemical fertilizers, which are suitable as base fertilizers and soil amendments, as well as to reduce the amount of chemical fertilizers used.

Zhang Wei is not a novice at the beginning, he has made up for and learned, and the company's so many agricultural researchers have been exposed to it, so he naturally understands that chemical fertilizers and organic fertilizers are an indispensable part of modern agriculture.

"As for the technicians, I'll arrange it as soon as possible, after all, the ABCD bunch of garbage is eyeing them out there."

Brie also nodded: "There is no problem on my side, the venue and equipment will be in place soon, but it is a bit of a pity that those mushrooms are used to feed the pigs." ”

"It's not okay to sell it on the market, although there is not much risk of eating, but our mushroom production itself is enough, continue to increase the scale of the market, the rich side will not agree, and it is good as pig feed."

Brie shrugged at this: "OK, anyway, I don't reject genetically modified mushrooms, even insect protein I often eat, we have to learn to adapt, after all, this is the future!" ”

Zhang Wei naturally understood what the other party was talking about, after all, Homo sapiens often held future world seminars within the company, and many people were not optimistic about the future of mankind, and Brie was the kind of person who was worried about the end of the world.

After the inspection of the Lima South Biogas Fermentation Plant was completed, Zhang Wei went to the South Sea Algae Refining Base in Lima non-stop.

This seaweed refining base is currently the largest refining base under Haitian Agriculture.

The base can produce 1.5 million tons of seaweed starch, 300,000 tons of trehalose, 6 million tons of seaweed fiber (which can be reprocessed and converted into various syrups), and 800,000 tons of carrageenan.

Recently, an organic compound fertilizer production plant has been added, mainly using three genetically modified seaweeds to enrich potassium and phosphate from seawater and nitrogen from air, and then send these seaweeds to the biogas fermentation plant in the base.

In addition to producing methane, these seaweed fermentation residues are dried, ground into powder, and then mixed with calcium oxide in a certain proportion to produce organic fertilizers containing nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium and various trace elements.

Luzon does not have potash mines and large phosphate mines, so this organic compound fertilizer can only be produced by bioaccumulation.

The plant produces about 1.5 million tons of organic compound fertilizers per year, or individual organic nitrogen fertilizers, organic potassium fertilizers, and organic phosphorus fertilizers.

To think about the neck of Caluzon on fertilizers and pesticides, ABCD is wishful thinking.

In terms of pesticides, Haitian Agriculture intends to use pheromone control methods, genetically modified immunity methods, and pesticides to reduce the use of pesticides.

Of course, Haitian Agriculture will also develop its own chemical pesticides.

This shows how difficult it is for small countries to achieve agricultural autonomy.

As soon as Luzon showed signs of secession, ABCD and a number of chemical giants and seed companies joined forces and began to deal with Luzon.

This confrontation is almost everywhere.
