Chapter 13: Facing the Great Enemy (Asking for a Recommendation Ticket and a Monthly Pass)
The old man did not answer Arthur's question, he looked at the surprise on Arthur's face and laughed, a little mad.
"Your story is wonderful, I love it. But the ending me off. β
The old man pointed to a few words on the first page of the manuscript and scolded sharply.
"And... The name is not good either, what fantastic beasts are where? I'm the main character! β
Arthur felt the old man's aggressive momentum and set his eyes on the manuscript he had sent to Aunt Teresa.
The manuscript, which was originally neat and clean, was now wrinkled and curled, and there were a few signs of tearing up.
"Then you can't destroy my manuscript, which I have worked so hard to write. I'm going to make money with it. β
"Make money??? Amusing! It's ridiculous! You're actually making money with my story? β
When the old man heard this, his anger instantly rose, and he raised his arm to grab Arthur's neck.
But an invisible force pushed him away.
Seeing this, the old man frowned slightly, and then laughed again.
"What a living force, stronger than the one from years ago. Boy, come with me, I won't kill you! β
"No, I'm going to the Ministry of Magic. If I don't convince them, I won't be able to make money writing novels. β
Arthur shook his head and turned his gaze to the four Aurors who had already retreated into the distance.
When Captain William heard that Arthur was going back to the Ministry of Magic with him, a look of joy instantly appeared on his face.
But after noticing the mysterious old man's unkind gaze, he swallowed his saliva again, signaling his companions to improve their hearts.
"Good! I'll go with you to the Ministry of Magic! β
The old man looked at the four Aurors in front of him who could be easily defeated, and carefully observed Arthur's face.
After discovering that he had remained calm since he appeared, without the slightest panic or fear.
He rolled his dry, cloudy eyes and decided to see what Arthur wanted to do.
Could a magical child who does not appear in his prophecy really destroy the entire wizarding world, as reported by his subordinates?
"Aren't you going to kill me, old man Grindelwald?"
"If I want to kill you, I can do it at any time. And please call me sir! β
"Yes, Grandpa Grindelwald."
Grindelwald looked at Arthur's pure eyes, wanting to be angry but couldn't.
This child had never appeared in his prophecy eighty years ago.
Maybe he could really change the wizarding world, instead of being like that little guy who only cares about this small place of one acre and three points of land in England.
But Arthur's goal he didn't like, what to make money, what a naΓ―ve idea.
It's not like the idea that a silent person should have.
'Can't let Dumbledore teach him, that will only ruin him. Such a gifted boy should be taught by me... I've failed, but I didn't promise not to teach my students...'
"You guys, take us to the Ministry of Magic!"
Grindelwald no longer bothered with Arthur's "old man" salutation, and he set his sights on the young Aurors.
At this time, when the four Aurors heard Arthur call the mysterious old man "Grindelwald", the terrifying memories from the history of magic class made them unable to hold their wands in fear.
"What are you still doing? Do you want me to kill you? β
Looking at the young man's unsightly reaction, Grindelwald shook his head secretly.
Heart, Dumbledore's students, get worse and worse every year.
If these were the people he had met back then, he wouldn't have failed.
"You can't leave Newmengard, do you? And if you follow me, it's going to be hard for me. β
Arthur was still calm, as if his face was paralyzed.
But his words clearly reveal his dislike for Grindelwald to accompany him to the Ministry of Magic.
"Believe it or not, I'm going to kill you right now?"
Grindelwald looked at the little guy who didn't know the height of the sky, and threatened in a stern tone.
If it was back then, when he met this kind of person who disrespected him, there would be only one ending.
But now he is a loser, and ambition has long since died in that failure.
This time he left Newmengard, and it was only after his subordinates found him and told him about a Muggle child who had written about the wizarding world, that his dead heart beat again.
What would a child who did not appear in his prophecy bring to this decaying and regressive magical world.
This is the real reason why Grindelwald broke his oath and walked out of Newmengard.
......
"What? Grindelwald appeared! Invite Dumbledore! β
As the councillors decided to punish Arthur Pendragon, Minister Fudge, who was hesitant in his office, screamed when he heard the terrifying Dark Lord appear at the Ministry of Magic.
He just wanted to be a Minister of Magic until he couldn't walk anymore.
But what has happened these days has made his already scarce hair even more barren.
"Grindelwald, why are you here? You should have been locked up in Newmongard! β
In the hall of the Ministry of Magic beneath Whitehall in London, wizards stand beneath towering statues.
One by one, they raised their wands in their hands, looking warily at the people who should never have been in the world again.
"I'm going to kill someone."
Grindelwald looked at the wands aimed at him one by one, even though the wand in his hand was not very useful, and there was no hint of timidity on his face.
"What?"
Hearing that Grindelwald was going to kill someone, the wizards were shocked, and the wand in their hands instantly flashed with various different spells.
"But the person I want to kill is about to be judged by your Ministry of Magic, so I need to wait until your Ministry of Magic trial is over before killing him."
Grindelwald pointed to Arthur beside him and said to the overly nervous wizards.
"Huh? It's that Arthur Pendragon! β
Fudge, who was standing behind several Aurors, followed Grindelwald's finger and realized that there was a child beside him.
And this kid turned out to be Arthur, who had just been convicted by the councillors.
'How did he end up with Grindelwald?' What exactly is Grindelwald's conspiracy? β
Fudge, no! All the wizards present would not believe that the Dark Lord, who had been so surprised back then, would come here in order to kill a child.
All eyes were on Arthur, who was recognized by the wizards who had been involved in the repairs to St. Mary's Orphanage.
"Arthur is a suspect in our Ministry of Magic, and even you can't interfere with our Ministry of Magic's law enforcement."
"You've failed, don't get involved in our business anymore. Go back to Numengard, you're not welcome here! β
Amelia Bones, a tall, female, but dignified current director of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement, walked out of the crowd and pointed her wand at Grindelwald.
Amelia's words made the atmosphere of the whole hall filled with gunpowder even more severe.
All it takes is a hint of wind or a sneeze from a house-elf to engulf Grindelwald with a glowing wand that instantly fires a spell that engulfs Grindelwald.
"Hello, Minister Fudge! That one... Can you wait for my matter to be resolved? I'm very busy, and I'm going to visit Sister Magi in the evening. β
Arthur waved to Minister Fudge, whom he had met.
But seeing that Fudge had not spoken, keeping his eyes fixed on Grindelwald, Arthur spoke again.
"Otherwise, let's have a mutually satisfying deal"
"If you drop my trumped-up charges, I can tell you who the Death Eaters hiding in the Ministry of Magic are."
