Chapter 112: Sequence 9: Audience Acting Rules (Asking for Subscriptions and Rewards)
Arthur watched the bubbles in the cauldron subside little by little, pinching his nose and trying not to stun himself from the foul smell.
"Sister audience, can you really drink this thing?"
He had been studying Potions for two months, and Arthur had never seen a potion that could give off such a disgusting smell when it was boiled.
This made him wonder if there was something wrong with the potion.
"No problem, it's been successfully boiled."
The font in the Potions notebook next to the crucible began to writhe, and the audience's reply was once again in front of Arthur.
Seeing that the audience was so sure, Arthur pursed his lips slightly, opened his mouth and took a deep breath, then picked up the crucible and drank the magic potion that looked like swill.
It's so hard to drink!
When the last mouthful of liquid from the cauldron entered Arthur's mouth, Arthur swallowed it with a feeling of nausea.
"Huh? Why didn't you feel the effect?"
After a few minutes, Arthur felt his stomach warm, as if he had drunk a large bowl of tomato brisket soup at noon.
Other than that, he didn't feel any noticeable changes in his body. It seems that this potion, as the audience said, can improve his physique and bring his soul and body closer together.
"This potion is called 'Sequence 9: Spectator', and it will enhance the physical fitness of the person taking it, giving you an excellent spirit and keen observation.
Like a bystander, examine the "actors" in the secular society, and get a glimpse of their true thoughts from their expressions, their mannerisms, their mouth habits, and their unknown movements.
So as to subtly influence, secretly guide, so that things develop in the direction they want. I can see the other party's purpose, but it doesn't mean that I can figure out the specific details."
The handwriting on the notebook twists again, and the audience begins to explain to Arthur what the potion does.
"Sequence 9: The Audience? What a special name. Spectator... Audience sister, have you also taken this potion?"
After reading the audience's explanation in the diary, Arthur was slightly surprised and asked again.
"Yes, I took this potion a long time ago."
"This potion is milder than any other potion. It doesn't change you right away, and when you get through tonight, you'll see it tomorrow."
"One more thing, just because you've taken this potion doesn't mean it's over."
"This potion has extraordinary properties that you need to digest as soon as possible, and the way to digest it is that you need to play the role of a real spectator."
"When you've thoroughly digested this extraordinary property, you'll truly get all the power in the potion."
Lines of handwriting from the audience appeared in the diary, leaving Arthur stunned.
Potions also need to be digested, and the way to digest them is to act as a spectator.
It's not magical!
This isn't what the Harry Potter world should be.
"Sister audience, can I ask?"
Arthur swallowed and asked in a low voice.
ćO(_)Oć
Seeing the audience's sister sketching a smiling face with black ink stains, Arthur finally became bold and asked the question he wanted to know the most.
"Sister audience, are you a time-traveler like me?"
ć......ć
Seeing that the little face did not change for a long time, Arthur began to get nervous. Because it means that the audience sister doesn't want to answer this question.
Just as he was about to retract the question, the smile that had been the same began to twist. A few seconds later, several large and striking letters appeared in front of Arthur.
"Yes, but it's not."
"Uh..."
Looking at the audience's ambiguous answers, Arthur was a little confused. Thinking about the character of the audience's sister, he didn't ask any further, but asked a few precautions for playing the audience.
....
..
At eight o'clock in the evening, the entire Hogwarts castle was greeted by a second revelry after the start of the school year, and the once deserted hallways were now filled with giant jack-o-lanterns.
Even the ghosts, who had been hiding from the little wizards lately, changed into strange costumes and walked down the hallways together, occasionally screaming or grimacing at the little wizards who didn't notice them.
Before the little wizards had even reached the Great Hall, they smelled a sweet smell in the hallway, not the smell of pumpkin that they had smelled in the morning, but the smell of various delicacies mixed together.
"Did Filch go to the auditorium?"
In the hallway leading to the library, the Wesley Twins asked in a whisper when they saw Cedric coming over softly.
"He walked in the direction of the Great Hall with Lady Loris and Professor McGonagall, and there would be no more patrols. Hurry up, I'll help you get out of the way!"
Cedric came up to the Wesley Twins, crouched down and whispered.
"Okay, then we're in."
"Don't worry. We'll be out soon."
When the Wesley twins heard this, they comforted Cedric, who was doing "bad things" for the first time, and then got up and went to the door of the library.
The two looked at each other, and Fred raised his wand and cast a lock-picking charm on the locked door.
As the lock was opened, the two pushed open the door and walked inside. Cedric saw that when he had entered, he walked over to a statue and crouched in the shadows, apprehensively surveying the surroundings.
He was very nervous at this time, afraid that he would be discovered by the professor in the next second.
"Huh? Is that a junior student? Why didn't you come here in the auditorium?"
Just as Cedric was nervous, silently counting the time when Wesley and the Twins would enter, he noticed a low figure at the end of the hallway.
Due to the corridors of the library, there are no lights at night. In the darkness, he couldn't make out who the low figure was.
"Could it be that Arthur is afraid that our plans will not go well, so come and take a look?"
Watching the figure walk slowly, Cedric thought for a long time, thinking that this person was most likely Arthur, so he stood up and prepared to greet the figure.
"Passed out!"
Before Cedric could speak, a red light flashed out from in front of the figure, instantly hitting Cedric's body.
Cedric secretly said bad in his heart, and wanted to raise his wand to signal the Wesley Twins in the library, but the strong sense of vertigo made him faint to the ground.
"Isn't this a handsome Hufflepuff guy, what is he doing here? Want to scare people?"
Myrtle put down her wand, raised her little hand and patted her heaving chest, muttering to herself in confusion.
"Shut up! Forget it, Occlumency."
The moonlight sprinkled on Cedric's handsome face, which made Myrtle a little tempted, and she bent down and touched Cedric's face, revealing an obsessed look.
After being cursed by Hermione, who felt the whole process in her mind, "perverted", Myrtle reluctantly stood up and walked towards the library.
"Oops, the door is unlocked! Someone's in there?"
The myrtle who came to the door was about to use the lock-picking charm to open the door, but found that the door was hidden, and immediately felt bad in her heart.
