obituary

Grandma passed away at 4:34 a.m. last night, ending a long period of illness.

……

Last night I was very sleepy, but I couldn't sleep anyway, and my heart was very flustered.

At one o'clock, just as I decided to listen to a song and go to bed, I had just played a random song when my aunt, who was keeping vigil at the hospital, called and said that my grandmother was not in a good state, so my mother and I rushed to the hospital.

Coincidentally, the pure music I played randomly was called "Song for Grandma", and when I saw this, I "chuckled" in my heart.

After rushing to the hospital, the grandmother continued to gush black liquid from her mouth, and various statistics continued to decrease.

An hour later, my grandmother snuggled into my dad's arms and let out a cry of pain that resounded throughout the hallway, as if trying to grasp the last straw.

As her voice grew smaller, a large amount of black liquid gushed out of her mouth again, and no matter how much the nurse tried to sputum, it was useless.

And so it was, until she stopped moving, all the curves became straight lines, her body became cold, and she lay motionless on the bed.

I distinctly remember those last seconds trying to open her eyes and look at us, tears in the corners of her eyes, trying to say something but unable to do anything.

I won't tell you about the rest of the story, I just feel that my chest hurts so much, it's so stuffy.

It felt like a dream.

……

I just got home, and there was no grandma at home anymore.

I didn't cry in the hospital, I was a little numb, but as soon as I got home, I couldn't hold back, and her clothes were still hanging on the balcony.

I'm going to take my grandmother to the funeral home later.
