In the past, he did the same when these thoughts bothered him, and he was always able to suppress these panics and uneasiness with strong willpower.

No matter how Ao Qing suppressed his consciousness, those countless thoughts still kept pouring out of his mind one by one.

That thought was like bubbles, Ao Qing used his spiritual power to break them, but it caused more bubbles, which made him suddenly feel a burst of restraint, and when he came back to his senses, he found that he couldn't even take a step!

And at this moment, in the eyes of the Bodhi Patriarch, on the dragon body of Ao Qing, countless black lights were entangled in his body, like chains, tightly trapping him in place, making him unable to move!

Those black lights are the so-called "cause and effect".

Cause and effect, i.e., cause and effect, Buddhism believes that all the ways of doing things are generated or destroyed according to the principle of cause and effect.

The so-called: causal cycle.

The "causes" of everything that happens in this life will eventually have corresponding "effects." If we are not able to understand cause and effect, then we will not be able to reach "enlightenment" and achieve the highest state after all.

Among the top ten disciples of the Buddha, Moggallian, who is "the first in supernatural powers", was once a person with great hope of achieving the bodhisattva and the Buddha's attainment. However, because he couldn't see through the cause and effect, he eventually died because of karmic entanglement, which is the proof that "supernatural powers are inferior to karma".

Today's Ao Qing, Bodhi Patriarch also thinks that his talent is not under Moggallian, or even stronger.

However, if you can't see through the "cycle of cause and effect" like Moggallian, then in the end, I am afraid that you will still not be able to fulfill your true transmission.

Yes. As early as that second test, the patriarch had already seen what Ao Qing was thinking.

In his heart, he can't let go of the dragon clan.

In Ao Qing's heart, if he wants to cultivate, on the one hand, he is certainly to be able to transcend himself. But on the other hand, a large part of the reason is that they want to revitalize the dragon clan.

However, this is a contradiction!

The Buddha is strong enough, right? In order to avenge the insult, King Liuli raised the strength of the whole country to attack the Shakya tribe three times, but was persuaded by the Buddha to retreat.

However, on the fourth occasion, the Buddha also knew that this was the unavoidable result of the Shakya's collective karma, so it could no longer be stopped.

At that time, Moggallan did not know such a reason, and wanted to forcibly disobey, and used his supernatural powers to put some people of the Shakya tribe into the bowl, in order to continue the clan. Who knew that after the army, the people of the bowl would still turn into blood!

Even Shakyamuni was unable to save the Shakyamuni clan in the end. And now, although the dragon clan is not destined to perish for the days like the Shakya clan, it has also been brilliant since the beginning of the world, and now it is time to "trough".

Ao Qing, if you can't see through this, how can you cultivate the Tao?

Therefore, in this "third test", Patriarch Bodhi hopes to help Ao Qing remove the karma in his heart, attain Bodhi, and understand cause and effect!

Under the Bodhi tree, only people who are pure in body and mind, like the Buddha of the past years, can reach it!

And now.

Ao Qing also seems to understand this truth.

After failing to suppress karma again and again, he already knew that this Bodhi tree represented the meaning of "abandoning the red dust and seeking self-transcendence".

Everyone has their own number of lives! With Ao Qing's personal strength, he may be able to change the path that some people want to take, but how can he go against the general trend?

Buddhism, there is "supernatural power is not as good as karma". Daomen, there is also a saying that "the water of the great river cannot flow backwards", although the content described in it is not exactly the same, but to a certain extent, the truth is similar.

Sometimes, perhaps the only answer is to let go.

However.

"Is that really the only way to be?"

Looking at the Bodhi tree in front of him, Ao Qing felt a little unwilling in his heart.

Seeing the opportunity to "apprentice", it is in front of me. But does it cost me to give up the dragons?

No, maybe it's not just about giving up on the dragons!

The so-called "see through cause and effect", but in addition to the dragon clan, Ao Qing himself, why is it not in cause and effect?

If you can really give up these so-called "distractions", in a sense, perhaps, you have also given up yourself. At the very least, it is to abandon his current "existence".

Ao Qing's thoughts couldn't help but drift away.

Unconsciously, in his mind, a pair of memories of his former time as a human appeared in his mind.

He couldn't help but be moved. Perhaps, I have long forgotten some "cause and effect".

In this life, he is a dragon. Moreover, as a dragon, he has spent a full five hundred years.

He seems to have forgotten that he once had another identity as a "human".

And now, this Bodhi tree wants him to give up his identity as a "dragon". So if you do, what is you?

This question made Ao Qing a little confused for a moment. But then, his gaze turned to determination.

"My life has an end, and there is no end to knowledge. With an end, there is no end, and you will die yourself! ”

This is a sentence that Zhuangzi once said.

The same applies to today's scenario.

The red dust is chaotic and boundless.

The divergence of consciousness is endless.

The past life and this life, although it is a small afterlife. However, it is still impossible to exhaust it on its own.

Ao Qing already knew this truth. However, he doesn't have to choose to give up, but to accept it!

In the pool in front of you, countless disturbances are like countless bubbles, one is broken, and the other will resurface. The solution to these bubbles is to abandon the pool, but the other is to maintain one's own heart, rather than being trapped in the pool.

Instead of bursting the bubble, you quietly observe the bubble. Until it is naturally extinguished!

Everything has a way, such as a dream bubble, such as dew and electricity, as such!

Ao Qing looked at the Bodhi tree.

Suddenly, he moved again, although countless karma was biomorphized, tightly entangled and bound his body, but, above his dragon body, there was a spiritual light, flying out, with Ao Qing's two lifetimes of self, exuding a clear and comfortable meaning, rushing towards Bodhi's place!
