Some things I want to say to everyone
Thank you very much for your continued support, and it is because of your support that this book is finally on the shelves.
Suddenly, I received a notice from the editor-in-charge, saying that if my book is not on the shelves, I will miss a lot of opportunities.
To be honest, I'm confused too.
Those who have read my previous works should know that I write books basically as a personal interest, because there are some restless words in my head, so I write them out and share them with you, so my previous works are completely free and I never sign a contract.
This is the first book I signed a contract with, and I don't understand many rules and things, so now that it's on the shelves so suddenly, I'm a little nervous in my heart, afraid that everyone will scold me for not saying it in advance.
It's a good thing to put it on the shelves, but it's the first time I've experienced it..... I don't know what will become of it when it hits the shelves, and I don't know if it will hit the streets.
Well...... Probably will.
Hawkers, forget it, it's all your own choice, I admit it.
Now I'm going to tell you a little bit about this book.
Thank you very much for your collection, recommended tickets and monthly passes, this is what I want to say the most.
I didn't sign up for books before, so none of that mattered to me, but this book is different, and I stare at these things almost every day.
I still don't know what these things are for, but watching them grow, I feel that what I write is being recognized by others.
Very fulfilling.
By the way, I read every comment you wrote, whether it's good or ..... Well, no bad reviews.
Everyone is still very good to me, and they don't scold me, even if there are objections, they are basically substantial, and they are considered to be in the category of mutual discussion.
That's a lot of fun.
However, there are a few things in it, and I still want to talk about it.
First of all, it's about the setting of the book.
For this book, I chose alternate history...... A world interspersed with romance and history.
On this point, a book friend's comment is on point, and it is exactly what I thought.
The line of history is too flat, often only a few words to end an important battle, and the writing is too dry. Everyone is familiar with the romance line, and there are too many people who write it, and you can't write anything new, no matter how you change it, you can find traces on other authors.
So I thought, if there is a world mixed with the line of romance and history, it makes you feel both familiar and unfamiliar, as if you have the ability to have a prophet, but it seems that there will always be some differences...... Maybe it's also a way of thinking.
But no matter how the plot develops, in terms of characters, I always try to describe them according to historical facts...... In fact, I don't like to read the kind of novels that treat the famous ministers and tigers who leave their names in history as idiots.
The history book is huge, big enough to fit up and down for 5,000 years.
The history books are so small that they can't accommodate the names of ordinary people.
can leave a name in history, even as a traitor and minister, he has his own ability and his own brain..... Well, except for Sima Zhen and the like, they are born to occupy high positions, although they also have brains, but there are really not many.
After talking about the background setting, let's talk about the problem of the protagonist.
As for the protagonist, he is not a hero.
When I used to read novels, I always said that the protagonist had more than a thousand years of knowledge, and then the protagonist beat the heroes of all walks of life...... Let's not talk about the question of whether these heroes are idiots, I've been wondering, do you really have more than a thousand years of knowledge in your head?!
Modern society has indeed exploded in information, but a lot of information is superficial, you know one thing can do this, but without checking Baidu, how many people can know what he should do?!
Although people who look for realism in fiction have a hole in their brains, I try to write as realistically as possible.
The protagonist is not perfect, he has his own flaws, and he can't expect the soul of a modern society to quickly accept the troubled times, which is an era of human life, some timid, some hesitant, and some kindness and cowardice that do not conform to the values of this era, which are understandable.
The character of the protagonist, I will slowly adjust it later, please be patient.
Finally, let's talk about the rhythm.
I'll admit that the pace was very slow in the early stages.
My original idea was to do some foreshadowing in the early stage, so that everyone knows that this world is not a simple historical line or romance line, and although many things have the same result, the process is completely different...... But I didn't expect to write hi, talk too much, and the plot used to promote the plot seems to be less, and the rhythm is a little dragged.
It's really not a water word count...... At least not the subjective and deliberate number of water words.
I'll try to change this.,I'll speed up some plots later.,Try not to beep if you can.。
As for some of the details that you have said that do not conform to historical facts, I admit that some of them are indeed not rigorous in my research, but some of them are ..... It's because I procrastinated in writing the book, and I put it in the queen mother, which made everyone vomit.
Finally, about the Mandarin Duck Formation, I can't help but want to say a few words.
After Qi Jiguang was transferred to the general army of Jizhen, in the face of the combat characteristics of the Mongols, he improved the mandarin duck array, increased the equipment of firearms, used a large number of muskets and Huzun guns, and added an improved version of the Wugang car, that is, the partial van car.
He did not completely abandon the Mandarin Duck Formation, and the Mandarin Duck Formation was not unsuitable for fighting in the north.
The wolf soldiers, long-card soldiers, and pikemen have still been retained, and the idea of multi-arm joint operations has not changed, and it has nothing to do with whether Qi Shaobao fights in the south or in the north.
A few years ago, the Koreans filmed a documentary-type TV series "Imjin War", which was about the Korean War in the Three Great Expeditions of Wanli.
Koreans, everyone knows what virtue is, so the description of the Ming Dynasty army in this drama is very tangled, basically busy intriguing with the North Koreans or something, and the military achievements are basically passing by.
But only firearms and the mandarin duck array, this drama uses a frontal lens to describe it, specifically telling the combat methods of the mandarin duck array and the role of firearms, and at that time, the Qi family army had moved to Jiliao, Qi Jiguang had been dead for four years, and the leader of the Qi family army was Wu Weizhong.
Therefore, the Mandarin Duck Formation is still retained in the north, but according to the operational characteristics of the North, Qi Jiguang has changed it again, not that Qi Jiguang will not use the Mandarin Duck Formation in the north.
If it is complained that Zhang Xi's Mandarin Duck Array will cause the Mandarin Duck Array to be weak in combat effectiveness because of the problem of firearm ratio, and it may not be the opponent of Cao Jun's cavalry, or even the Tiger and Leopard Cavalry, I admit that it is indeed a bit of a god written...... But there is no problem with the Mandarin Duck Array itself.
Okay, that's about it, thank you again for your support, thank you very much.
Although I have been writing books for some years, my writing is really not good, and I admit that it is at the level of an amateur. Most of the writing is for the level of self-satisfaction, which I also recognize.
Thank you for reading what I wrote, and I hope you will support me a lot after it is put on the shelf, your support is the motivation for me to write.
Whether it's a sense of accomplishment or Brother Kong Fang.
All in all, in a word, in a nutshell – thank you all for your support.
Thank you.
