As for why, it is because from the perspective of Buddhism, although the Buddha Shakyamuni is the ancestor of Buddhism, he is supreme. However, there is still Amitabha Buddha as the "king of Buddhas".
Moreover, Shakyamuni and the demon lord Bo Xun have clashed many times, and although they have the upper hand, they cannot completely suppress the demon path.
Therefore, from these aspects, perhaps for the Buddha, the title of "most holy" is more appropriate.
But in any case, the Buddha in front of him is still the strongest person Ao Qing has seen since he was born, except for the master.
In this Elysium, the fact that the power of the mind cannot enter is already very revealing.
And the feeling that the Buddha gave Ao Qing was not high. On the contrary, there is a natural sense of intimacy.
Facing the Buddha, Ao Qing only felt an inexplicable sense of satisfaction in his heart, as if he had seen "enlightenment".
Not to mention anything else, just by making a "pilgrimage" to the Buddha in this way, Ao Qing felt that he seemed to be infinitely close to the "Buddha".
"The prince doesn't need to be polite."
The Buddha spoke slowly, and his voice was like thunder, causing a sensation in the Mahavira Hall. But Ao Qing was in his ears, but he seemed extremely peaceful: "The prince is the personal inheritance of the Bodhi patriarch, and I also had a deep friendship with the patriarch in the past. The reason why I heard Bodhi was because of the help of my ancestors. Therefore, if the prince has any problems, he can say it. ”
If the Buddha's words are true, they mean a lot.
Ao Qing instantly realized that sure enough, this Buddha and his master, Patriarch Bodhi, had a friendship!
From the words of the Buddha, nine times out of ten, there is a mutual cause and effect of enlightenment.
Legend has it that Shakyamuni was born in the Sanssouci tree, enlightened in the Bodhi tree, said the Dharma in the horse chestnut tree, and attained nirvana in the alder tree.
And the Bodhi tree where this "enlightenment" is located may be related to the Bodhi Patriarch!
In the past, Ao Qing had this conjecture, and now the words of the Buddha confirm this.
Of course, the Buddha benefited from the patriarch, and the patriarch may also benefit from the Buddha. It's just that these details are unknown to Ao Qing.
Now that he has this relationship, Ao Qing feels that his words are much easier to ask.
He didn't sell it, and asked directly: "In this case, Ao Qing will thank the Buddha for his teaching." May I ask you, Buddha, am I in the realm of bliss or bodhichitta right now? ”
The Buddha said, "Right now you are in the Western Spiritual Mountain, the Elysium. As for your mental realm mana, it's outside Elysium. ”
Really!
Ao Qing asked again: "In this case, what is the difference between the Spirit Mountain and the Heart Realm?" ”
The Buddha said, "There are three realms within the heavens. It is the realm of desire, the realm of color, and the realm of colorlessness. There are six realms in the realm of desire, which are hell, hungry ghosts, beasts, asuras, earth, and heaven. The world of color is a pure world, and there is no desire to be stained. The colorless realm is an intangible body, with only the four minds of receiving, thinking, acting, and knowing, and there is no material thing. Lingshan is the world of color, and the world of your heart is the world of colorlessness. ”
If the words of the Buddha are not obscure, Ao Qing listened to it, and he had a general understanding.
At the same time, he finally understood the concept of the mental realm.
What the Buddha said is exactly what Buddhism divides this world.
In Taoism, the Three Realms are simply "Heavenly Realm", "Human Realm", and "Netherworld".
But in Buddhism, it's the realm of desire, the realm of lust, and the realm of colorlessness.
The world of desire is the world of all desires and bodies, which can roughly be compared to the mortal world.
The color realm is the pure dharma realm, for example, the world where the Buddhas are located belongs to the color realm.
The colorless realm is a world where there is only thought, no body.
The mind is a world where there are only thoughts and no bodies. Corresponding to this is the colorless realm of Buddhism.
However, having said that, Ao Qing is still a little strange. Why, then, can the "Elysium" be entered only by the human mind, without having to enter the body?
He asked the question.
When the Buddha heard this, he smiled slightly: "Because, the world of bliss is the world of my heart. and Lingshan, in fact, are two places. ”
As soon as the Buddha said this, Ao Qing suddenly realized.
That is to say, in reality, there is indeed a "Lingshan Da Lei Yin Temple". But that world belongs to the world of colors, and it is the world of Buddhism with a physical body.
And when sentient beings chant the Buddha, they go to the mental world created by the Buddha.
If you think about it, this is also normal. Just like Ao Qing, the Buddha also enlightened under the Bodhi tree. Naturally, he can also possess the mana of the heart realm!
Of course, having said that, Ao Qing still felt a subtle difference.
The Buddha seemed to be aware of this, and said, "In the past, I realized the path under the Bodhi tree and realized the world in my mind. Therefore, the Elysium was opened up, hoping that all sentient beings could be reborn in Bliss after death. Therefore, this realm of my mind is rooted in the spiritual mountain, which does not increase, decrease, and cannot be moved. The mind of the Bodhi Patriarch, although it is both illusory and real, can move freely, but it cannot send and receive, and only drifts in the Three Realms. As for Ling's mental realm, it is a step further, not only can you be at ease, send and receive freely, but even realize the Tao in a dream and witness the past years. This kind of power is really amazing and admirable. ”
This explanation made Ao Qing completely understand the difference between Elysium, Bodhi Patriarch's mental realm, and his own mental realm.
In order to purify all sentient beings, the Buddha's heart is the Buddha realm that is built on the spiritual mountain with great aspirations.
Ao Qing also saw that in this Elysium, there are many Arhats, Bodhisattvas, and Buddhas' Dharma Appearances, all of which are here.
To put it simply, he is like a base camp for conveying compassion and upholding the Dharma, and it is going to stand forever in the western heavens. Naturally, you can't act rashly. Once the action is made, it is very likely that the heavenly monks, arhats, bodhisattvas, Buddhas, and so on will all be seriously implicated.
The three-star cave world of Bodhi Patriarch is actually similar in nature.
It's just that Patriarch Bodhi didn't make any grand wishes, and perhaps he didn't think of going to the Purification of sentient beings and receiving the Dharma Manifestations of bhikshus, bhikshunis, arhats, bodhisattvas, Buddhas, and so on.
In Lingtai Fangcun Mountain, the oblique moon three-star cave. So far, apart from the patriarch, only the woodcutter exists. And now with the addition of Ao Qing, you can also go at will.
Therefore, the Samsung Cave can be moved at will. Even in an instant, it can migrate thousands of miles from Xiniu Hezhou to Beihai.
But similar to Elysium, the Sanxing Cave is more like a world that exists in the Three Realms all the time.
This is the biggest difference between Ao Qing's heart realm and it.
Yes. Ao Qing's heart is only in his own heart. If he doesn't want to, no one else can come.
This is true even for the Buddha.
After all, his mind is born with a thought, and a thought is extinguished. Elusive, naturally difficult to enter. Instead of going to Ao Qing's heart realm, it is better to come directly to Ao Qing, maybe it is simpler.
And the Sanxing Cave, if the Buddha wants to, it is completely possible to go straight to it, similar to the "dojo" of the Bodhi Patriarch.
