In modern India and Nepal, there are really not many people who really believe in Buddhism, and even fewer people who believe in primitive Buddhism. Buddhism can be said to have become a small branch of Hinduism.

On the contrary, in China, Buddhism gradually developed after Xuanzang learned the scriptures, and later it integrated Taoism, Confucianism and mythology, and after many generations, it derived Zen Buddhism and Pure Land Buddhism, which were carried forward.

Buddhism spread eastward, and Bo Xun wanted to stop it, but it was a foregone conclusion, and the demon lord was powerless to resist, so he came up with a way.

That is, he pretended to be the Buddha, let the disciples and grandchildren pretend to be arhats and bodhisattvas, and the demons and demons pretend to be monks and nuns. Distort the Dharma and make it a tool for exercising desires.

This move directly damages the foundation of Buddhism!

Until later generations, although Buddhism still existed, the monks, abbots, and monks in it were already the demon sons and grandsons of Bo Xun.

All of them are for profit, all for karma, driven by desires, and few are truly masters of meditation.

The temple is full of smoke and rain, and the demons are dancing. The evil master said that it is like the sand of the Ganges!

Ao Qing couldn't help but feel a little emotional when he thought of this.

But at the moment, none of this has happened. Now, the first thing the Buddha thought about was to preserve the three-fold method and use the three-fold method to save the world as much as possible.

Therefore, the matter of Journey to the West is also inevitable.

As for the "age of the end of the Dharma" and the "disciples and grandchildren of the Bo Xun disciples" recorded in the Dharma Destruction Sutra, it has not happened yet.

What Ao Qing thought of was just to remind the Buddha as much as possible, and to change it if he could change it in accordance with nature.

Now, Patriarch Bodhi told Ao Qing the truth. Ao Qing said, "Master, in this way, does the Buddha mean that I and others will help me and others to promote the spread of the Dharma to the east?"

The patriarch nodded slightly.

Immediately, he said, "That Shakyamuni, in the past, I had some cause and effect, and he asked me for this, and I could hardly refuse. But if you're not interested, you don't have to push yourself."

Ao Qing said, "Since it is Master's business, the apprentice should do his part. What's more, it is also beneficial to me."

Yes. This journey to the west is not a trouble for Ao Qing, on the contrary, it is still a big opportunity.

The most direct opportunity is naturally to be able to act as an agent for the spread of Buddhism to the East.

To a certain extent, it can even be said that it has become an indispensable existence in the future of Buddhism, and it has great grace with Buddhism!

Buddhism is one of the best forces in the Three Realms, and it is a behemoth in the Three Realms along with Taoism and Heaven. Although it has won and lost with the Demon Dao, it is undeniable that its current strength is also very beneficial to the dragon clan.

Even the dragon clan has many descendants, all of whom serve as servants in the Buddhist sect, or even disciples or something.

If this can be done, then the dragon clan will be equivalent to having a big backer in the future. Not to mention anything else, as long as Ao Qing comes forward, the Buddha will definitely give some face.

In addition, there are also Celestial Dragon Naga in the West, and Naga, although it is a snake and not a true dragon, it also has some reasons for being related to the dragon clan.

Taking advantage of this opportunity, Ao Qing can completely find a way to co-opt the dragons and make Naga a part of the descendants of the dragon clan.

Therefore, this matter naturally has many benefits for the dragon clan.

As for the downsides, it's also obvious. That is, if you are willing to help the Buddha, then you are bound to fight against the Demon Dao.

In addition, with Taoism and Heavenly Court, we must also deal with the corresponding relationship.

After all, Buddhism is spreading to the east, and you have to be prepared to spread the Fa, and you can't just say that you will spread the Fa, and you can't do it without informing the Taoist Heavenly Court.

But in Ao Qing's opinion, these are not difficult at all.

Matters related to Taoism and the heavenly court, the Buddha will deal with it. When the time comes, you just have to go with the flow.

As for confronting the Devil's Path? Most of those demonic paths are riddled with bad karma. And if they know about the Mixed Yuan Dragon Ball, maybe even if Ao Qing doesn't go to them, they will come to find themselves.

If so, what is there to fear?

As for Ao Qing's thoughts, Patriarch Bodhi probably also knows.

And it is precisely because of the Journey to the West that the benefits to Ao Qing outweigh the disadvantages, so the patriarch should respond to this matter and ask his opinion.

Ao Qing said, "The first thing about the spread of Buddhism to the east is the candidate. Judging from the nature of this matter, it is better to have a person who has merged the three religions to protect the Dharma. Therefore, my disciple of the three-star cave is the most suitable. But my brother definitely won't have this thought, and I'm not very suitable. Therefore, this matter can only be pushed onto the head of the future "junior brother."

The patriarch said, "This can be seen as the transmission of the Dharma to the east, but it can also be seen as a path of mind cultivation. If you come to a very deep state, you have calculated that your future junior brother has a temperament that jumps out, and his heart is born on his own. Although he has understanding, he has no tempering, so if he can be allowed to travel to the west, it will save me some teaching. However, if this matter is completed in the future, he is also a member of the Buddhist Sect, whether he is considered a disciple of my three-star cave or not, he has to choose with him."

Ao Qing said, "If he knew what was going on, he would naturally understand Master's painstaking efforts."

The patriarch bowed slightly, not paying too much attention, but asked, "You already know everything, since you are going to do it, what do you think?"
