Chapter 28: The Tomb I
The geist dreamed that he was looking at a tombstone. The tomb seems to be made of sand and stone, peeling off a lot, and overgrown with moss, with only a limited number of sentencesββ...... It is cold when the song is feverish, and the abyss is seen in the sky. In all eyes see nothing, and in nothing hope of salvation.
Then he awoke violently, and remembered the chapter, in which the man surnamed Lu read the inscription on the tombstone: There was a wandering spirit, turned into a long serpent, with fangs in his mouth. If you don't bite people, you will bite yourself, and you will eventually die. ...... Leave!
The last two words are leaving, leaving! Leaving with a heart-rending shout! What kind of sign is this?
The geist opened its mouth wide and gasped as it sat on top of the Listening Beast, its empty body floating, thinking that this was a sign urging it to leave, as if someone or something that had been close to him before he died was in some kind of danger.
But before he had time to think about it, the Jizo King Bodhisattva had already turned back, looked into his eyes and asked, "Can you see it?"
The wandering spirit glanced at the yellow sè book he was holding, looked at the five words of Maitreya's Sutra of Lower Life on the cover, and shook his head. This sutra says that when the Buddhas in the past, they were good at practicing Brahmanism and cultivating the twelve-headed Buddha's behavior, so they had to persuade everyone that if they were Maitreya, then who was the Mahakya?
Legend has it that he lived to be more than 100 years old and preached the Dharma to Ananda, so he went to the Chicken Foot Mountain (the mountain has three peaks standing and resembles a chicken foot) in the southwest of the Wangsha City, and sat on the ground and swore that he would not spoil my body with my divine power, and covered it with dung and clothes. Wait 1.7 billion years from now. When Maitreya was incarnated as a Buddha, he came to visit him and offer him the mantle of Shakyamuni Buddha and assist him in educating sentient beings.
This story is recorded in "Fu Fa Zang Karma Biography - "After the Buddha is extinguished." All the Dharma Zang is known as the Buddha Buddha. Later, the three Tibets were knotted, and the whole body was not dispersed when he entered Nirvana at Jizu Mountain. When Maitreya Buddha was born, he came out of the mountain, made eighteen changes in the public, saved people immeasurably, and then perished, and became a Buddha in the future, calling it light. β
The geist thought for a moment and pointed to the sky. said: "Jizu Mountain is in Yunnan. β
King Jizo Bodhisattva shook his head: "Wuzhi Mountain is in Hainan. β
When you ask and answer, you naturally understand the meaning. If you are now in the world, Jizu Mountain in Yunnan is the place where the body of the Buddha's first disciple Dakya Ye has not been corrupted for thousands of years. How did the Wuzhi Mountain, which pressed the monkeys back then, run to Hainan? Later generations echoed the theory, but it was not the place where the story took place thousands of years ago.
King Jizo Bodhisattva said: "Through Zeng Yun, the Venerable Buddha does not enter Nirvana, the body does not rot, holding the Buddha's tooth relics and the Buddha's own robe waiting for Maitreya, passing on the mantle of Maitreya Buddha. β
The wandering spirit didn't have any expression, and said in a daze, "But where is the Great Ka Ye?"
"A disciple of the Buddha. There are many who are called Kasya, but there is no great Kasya, so remember that. Jizo King Bodhisattva said slowly like a teacher.
The wandering spirit nodded, thinking that you said that you wrote the ground, since you said that there is no Ka Ye, then there is no Ka Ye, so I don't fight with you for this...... After a while, he suddenly spoke, "But there are relics and robes." β
Jizo King Bodhisattva smiled.
......
......
"Let's go?"
"Where to go?"
The spirit suddenly felt that these two lines of dialogue were somewhat familiar, a little vulgar. So he pouted, floated down from Di Ting, and followed behind the Jizo King Bodhisattva. No more asking, go down the mountain.
The tombstone I dreamed about just now had the word "leave" written on it, and this ominous omen made him leave the top of the Great Black Mountain with the Jizo King Bodhisattva, but he did not leave the underworld. The wandering spirit's heart was also a little confused, why did the Jizo King Bodhisattva leave the White Bone Pagoda with him.
The wandering soul himself suddenly had the idea of leaving the underworld, because he always felt that in the world where he originally existed, those people or things close to him were extremely dangerous at this time.
......
......
Guiyuan Temple, Houyuan Thatched House, the monkey raised his eyes to look at the moon in the sky, a green sè circle faintly appeared, a green sè little lion was wailing weakly beside the monkey, Zou Leilei was as calm as if she was dead, floating beside her, without a trace of breath.
Outside the courtyard, the blind Bin Ku is sitting on the ground, holding a sandalwood rosary, and the children of the temple are chanting the name of Guanshiyin Bodhisattva.
Outside the temple, Qin Zi'er was sitting opposite Chen Shuping drinking tea, and the cup was tasteless.
Outside the city, all the remaining forces gathered around the provincial capital, although they knew that the power of the human world would not affect anything at all, but they still persisted.
Outside the sky, the flesh and bones of the two blood bodhisattvas are broken, and they are extremely dependent on each other, like two noble ice sculptures, which seem to be able to break at any time and return to extinction.
That man didn't come back, that little fat man didn't come back, no one came back, who was going to leave?
"Who are we hiding?" the wandering spirit held the Maitreya Sutra in his hand and asked the Jizo King Bodhisattva beside him.
After coming down from the Great Black Mountain, the Bodhisattva King of the Earth led him on a walk among thousands of rotting corpses of white bones, and he did not know how many wastelands and dead places he passed, and those dead spirits did not avoid them, but deliberately covered their breath. It's a pity that the Jizo King Bodhisattva was able to merge his earthly breath with this underworld, and the wandering soul's overly powerful divine sense, and the life leaping breath that was incompatible with this underworld, pointed out a clear path for those who came after him.
The person in the back is getting closer and closer to the wandering soul and the Jizo King Bodhisattva. The wandering soul is a little strange, according to what the Jizo King Bodhisattva said, he is a person who has attained the great Bodhisattva fruit, and the realm of the Jizo King Bodhisattva is even more terrifying and terrifying. He thought to himself, with the two of them so powerful, why did they hide from that person? What kind of power did they make the King of Jizo Bodhisattva abandon the war in the underworld that lasted for three hundred years, and take him around?
"Hide from the man who killed you. "The Bodhisattva of the King of the Earth walked forward, and with one foot was 500 miles of land. The white jade-like soles of his feet stepped on the rancid mud, and he looked very distinct.
The geist flew past him, and there was no emotional fluctuation in his voice: "Since you have already killed me, what are you doing to kill me?"
"Though you are dead. But without reincarnation, he can naturally perceive it. β
The geist sighed, "Since you can kill me before, you must be able to kill me again this time, Bodhisattva, let's run faster." Since he knew that the person chasing him behind him was a powerful horn, he was a little frightened in his instinct, and he did not shy away from asking the Bodhisattva to flee with him, "I used to fly much faster than now, Bodhisattva, can you fly with me?"
"Not good. "King Jizo Bodhisattva is really like a teacher. "A Buddha controls space, so speed is for a Buddha. It doesn't make sense, we just look for some gaps in the space he controls, he doesn't notice. β
"Since he can control the space, how can there be gaps in this space that he won't notice. β
"Because he's not familiar with the space we're in. King Jizo Bodhisattva said, "The underworld is my home, so it is difficult for him to completely control this space. β
"Understood. β
......
......
After escaping for more than ten days, the geist was a little tired of this kind of life. The two of them came to a wasteland with a mountain above it. The mountains of the underworld are all black, so this mountain looks a little like a miniature version of the big black mountain under the throne of the King of the Earth, but the top of this small black mountain is slightly cracked and scattered in all directions, just like a lotus flower carved from black jade, which is very beautiful.
Seeing that the Bodhisattva of the King of the Earth came to the mountain, the Black Lotus Mountain had a sense. The lotus bloomed and opened a small opening.
"Cannibal lotus. The first thought of the wandering soul was this, and when he turned his head, he saw that the Bodhisattva of the King of the Earth did not enter. There was no explanation for anything, so I couldn't help but be a little surprised. After waiting for a long time, the geist had no choice but to float to the black hole on the summit of the black lotus like a man.
The Jizo King Bodhisattva had already sat down in front of the mountain at this time, and when the wandering spirit entered the mountain, the space in the underworld was distorted, and a Bodhisattva came out of it, glanced at the Jizo King Bodhisattva, and sighed.
King Jizo Bodhisattva looked at his face and said coldly, "Guanzi, why hasn't your injury healed yet?"
Guanyin didn't know how to answer, so he didn't answer.
As he spoke, a monk came from a distance, and the monks were surrounded by great light, which made the ghosts in the underworld uneasy, and the souls wept bitterly, howling in grief, as if countless dead souls in the underworld were going to cry out because of this monk.
The monk walked to the foot of the Black Lotus Mountain, glanced at the mountain, and asked, "This is the place where the Great Kasa leaves guard the mantle?"
King Jizo Bodhisattva glanced at him, and said without respect and emotion, "You can't go in. β
The monk lifts his steps, and the light rises again.
But he couldn't go in, because both the King of the Earth and the Bodhisattva of Avalokiteshvara sat down.
So the monk glanced at his son and sat down.
The wandering spirit floated to the Black Lotus Mountain for a while, and then landed under the cave, for some reason, everything in the cave was clear, and there was a slightly protruding mound that suddenly appeared in the hole, which was very terrifying - it was a tomb.
There is no stone monument in front of the grave that will make the spirit's heart palpitate.
The wandering spirit went around the back of the tomb and found that there was not a trace of grass and trees on the tomb, it had long been decayed, and there was even a large gap in the rear. The geist cautiously looked in, and was not surprised to find a dead body lying in the grave.
Since it is a grave, it is natural that there will be corpses.
There was a strong sense of unnaturalness in the soul of the wandering spirit, what is the most common thing in this underworld? It is those white bones with carrion hanging on them, revealing the carrion on the white bones, corpses, and the underworld is full of corpses. But because there are corpses everywhere, no one will be bored to build a grave to bury them.
Therefore, the wandering soul concluded that the tomb in front of him must be the only tomb in the underworld.
Who is the body in the grave?
......
......
The black cave, the black grave, and the black hole behind the grave, the corpse lay quietly like this. The geist floated in, circled around the corpse, and found that the corpse had a torn chest and abdomen, and all the organs between it were gone, as if it were an empty sac.
Only a gray heart was exposed between the chest and abdomen of the corpse.
There was no trace of sadness on the corpse's face, it was cloudy, and its facial features were handsome but ordinary, and the wandering spirit looked a little familiar.
When he saw this black lotus-like mountain, he couldn't help but think of Venerable Mahakya, because it was rumored that Mahakyaye was waiting for Maitreya in such a mountain. So when I saw this corpse, my first thought was that this was the incorruptible body of Kasya.
But the King of the Earth Bodhisattva said that there was no such thing as a great Kasa leaf in the world, so he also recognized this statement, and after seeing this corpse with some familiar eyes, the wandering spirit was even more sure that the tomb was not lying in the Great Kasya, but a guy who had something to do with himself - and that connection must be very deep, otherwise the geist would not feel faintly sad at this time, and would not sit next to the corpse and watch without saying a word.
Although the wandering soul has no memory, and the concept of this world has only just been completed, but this does not affect his logical judgment, after coming down from the Great Black Mountain, he has been thinking about the question of the scriptures about the Great Kasya, if he is Maitreya, who will give himself a robe in the future? Who will give himself a Buddha tooth relic?
Let's just stop thinking about these idle birds, the Bodhisattva let himself go into this grave, and he doesn't know what it means. Although I vaguely knew that the monks liked to play these things that were not passed on outside the sect, and the more powerful the monks, the more they liked to fight dumb fans, but the wandering soul still didn't like it, and hummed with a flat mouth:
"Good corpse, really good corpse. β
ββββββββββββββββββββ
After sitting beside the grave for a long time, I don't know how many rìzi, the wandering soul finally understood a trace of the reason.
It seems that in this process, he slowly regained many of the emotions that life should have, not irritation, anger and suspicion, but a very simple trace of pity and sadness. He didn't know why, he was sad, he burst into tears, and a little light fell from his soul, dipped into the corpse, patted the corpse's face, and muttered: "Why do you feel so sad when you look at your brother lying here? β
The soul was heartbroken, and the lonely heart in the chest and abdomen of the corpse also mourned, and countless cracks suddenly appeared on the gray lifeless heart, which seemed to be ready to crack at any time.
......
......
There was a soft crack, and the heart petals in the corpse cracked, like a blooming lotus flower.
