Chapter 214: Sneaking In

The shouts suddenly changed tone, and the earth rumbled beneath their feet, a deep, piercing sound that shook their bones. The fight stopped, and the orcs all turned to stare at the portal. A moment ago, one could see through the arch the view of the Hellfire Peninsula behind, but now it was dark, swirling with stars, like a crazy night sky. Even Durotan's eyes were drawn to the sight. As he watched, the darkness shimmered and organized into a scene that frightened and bewildered him.

Gul'dan depicts a beautiful continent, rich and full of fat prey, fertile land, clear blue skies. Durotan did see a place he had never seen before, but it was far from the idyllic poetic country that Gul'dan described. It was damp, as arid as Draenor was now, a thick mist floating above the saltwater swampy meadows, and a buzzing chirp echoed in the air. At least, Durotan thought, there was life in this strange place.

Whispers of displeasure spread among the crowd. This is where Gul'dan wants to send them, and at first glance it is not much better than their homeland. But again, Durotan realizes that water means life. Even though the sky was orange instead of blue, and though the ground was damp and devoid of flowers, at least life could survive there.

He turned to look at Gul'dan, as the crowd grew louder and louder. Gul'dan was also clearly trying to hide his own shock. He waved his hands to silence everyone.

"Azeroth is a big world, just like ours!" He shouted. "You all know how different places look. I'm sure it's the same for that world. This place... It's not seductive, it's not like I—" His voice faded in, and then he shook his body, and could see that he was regaining his strength. "But behold, this is another land where there is really a zài! this is true! Gul'dan pointed to the two dozen heavily armed orcs standing next to the portal. They focused their attention. "You have been chosen to be the first pioneers to survey this new world. Let's move forward. In the name of the tribe!"

The orcs hesitated for only a moment, then resolutely ran through the portal.

Those sights were gone.

Durotan turned his head to stare at Gul'dan. The warlock was trying his best to keep his composure, but it was clear that his mind was disturbed.

"They're our scouts. Gul'dan said. "They're going to bring back news of the new world. ”

And before the assembled orcs really started to feel anxious, the sight of the swamp reappeared. The orcs quickly came back through them. They were all grinning, and more than half of them were carrying the carcasses of large animals. One is some kind of reptile, with scales covering its entire body and a long tail, stubby legs, and a huge mouth. The other is a four-legged fur thing with sharp claws on all four feet, a long tail and small round ears, and spots on the smooth yellow skin. Both creatures appear to be healthy.

"We've slaughtered and tasted both creatures," said the leader of the scouts. "Their meat is delicious. The water there is clean. We don't need a beautiful land. Just a piece of land that can feed us. This Azeroth is well suited to that, Gul'dan. ”

There were whispers from the crowd. Durontan's gaze was unconsciously focused on the beast that the scout had brought back, his stomach rumbling. He hadn't eaten in two days. Gul'dan was visibly relieved. He looked at Durotan from afar, narrowing his eyes. Durotan felt a rush of apprehension, sharp and bitter, right in his throat.

He and his clan will be noticed by the orcs, he knows it. He knew that his attempt to protect the child - and the reaction of the other clans, many of whom were prepared to fight the Frostwolf's defenses, would not be forgotten. He had suspected that Gul'dan would order his execution or exile, but it was clear that Durotan and the Frostwolf Orcs were of some use to Gul'dan and Blackhan. ...

That being the case, today. He will fight alongside his countrymen, and tomorrow's will be tomorrow's. No matter what happens, Durotan knows that he himself will never go against the glory. until death.

Gul'dan looked back at the crowd full of anticipation and took a deep breath.

"This is a fateful moment," he said. "On the other side, a new beginning awaits us. New enemies await us to slaughter. You can feel it, don't you? Bloodthirsty* is on the move? Follow Blackhan! Obey his commands, and you will rule this new world! On the other side of the portal is your new world, take possession!"

The roar was deafening. The crowd pushed and shoved forward. Even Durotan is controlled by a desire for a new world, so green and ripe that it is waiting to be possessed. Perhaps his concerns were unwarranted; Perhaps the world is indeed a new beginning. Durotan loves his clan. Love his people. He wants to see them prosper. And he, like all the orcs before him. Indulge in killing.

Maybe a qiē will be fine.

With an axe in his hand, hope spreads in his heart. Durotan joins the crowd that flocks to the portal, to the place called Azeroth. He threw his hands up and rushed forward with each orc shouting.

"For the Horde!"

Lin Yue stood in the distance, watching the mighty orc troops crowd in front of the huge portal. He hesitated, he knew that the opposite side of the portal was Azeroth, the former Azeroth, but Lin Yue was not sure what would happen if he followed him into this portal.

But Draenor has been completely destroyed, and if he continues to stay, Lin Yue is afraid that he will not be able to find food to eat, and he does not want to chew the bark.

A team of orcs stepped into the portal, and Lin Yue quietly touched the side. He had to be extremely careful, because Gul'dan standing next to the portal was not weak. Although Lin Yue has now learned to sneak in the shadows, he is still in danger of being discovered in the face of enemies who are stronger than himself.

Fortunately, Gul'dan did not expect anyone to get involved at all, and his vigilance was not high. Lin Yue followed a group of orcs into the portal. It was as if he had simply passed through a door, and Lin Yue stepped on the land of Azeroth in the next second.

Instead of continuing to follow the orc troops, Lin Yue quickly moved away, he was going to find human civilization and figure out some things. (To be continued)
