Book 5: Dissidents are ignorant of kindness, and non-homogeneous beasts have plans to repay their hearts Volume 5, Chapter 1: The Burning Ox's Tail
June 30th, a sweltering afternoon.
This is Kangding, Yizhou, in the westernmost part of the vast Bashu land, is the southwest border of the Great Qinshu Land, and between the Baiyuzhou of the Wild Wolf Country, only separated by a narrow plank road from afar, from here to the nearest big city Jinguancheng, it takes at least half a month, it can be seen that the desolation here.
Zhuxian Village, an extremely ordinary small village among hundreds of villages in Kangding.
The peasant young man sitting under the tree opened his eyes, he had just woken up from his nap, and at the moment he was frowning slightly, as if the dream he had just experienced was not very pleasant, he stood up and stretched, and said to himself in a very heavy Sichuan accent:
"Gegou Rile, I dreamed of begging again, and I just memorized it!"
If you say where is the most prosperous place in Great Qin, there must be different opinions, the crown is like a cloud, the former imperial capital of Chang'an, the "Tianfu" known as the Jinguan City, the rich and fertile Yuhang...... No one can make a final decision in one word.
But if it is said that where the people have the most abundant mantras, the Sichuan people will definitely be the best. Words such as "Gegou Rile", "Day", "Seeking", "Back Time", "Immortal Banban", "Turtle Son" and other words are dazzling and eye-opening, and seem to be rough and slang, but they are always on the lips of Sichuan people. If the strangers heard it for the first time, they would definitely think that they were cursing, but if you came forward to theorize, the Sichuan people would answer him with a surprised face:
"Gegou Rile, how can I scold you turtle? Ask for more! ”
Therefore, removing the foul language that was used as a mantra, the words spoken by this peasant youth were translated into official dialect:
"Well, why did you dream again, it's really unlucky......"
The young man stood up, looked at the hillside in the distance, and muttered:
"Day, is it still burning? I'm afraid I'm still dreaming? ”
He seemed to have dreamed of a fire before, and the flames in the dream were still lingering in front of his eyes.
On the hillside in the distance, there was a fire rolling, he shook his head, as if he wanted to shake this "illusion" out of his brain, and when he opened his eyes again, he found that it was not an illusion, there was indeed a fire beating on the hillside!
He looked closely, and saw that it was the tail of a large buffalo burning, and when he looked at it closely, he almost jumped to his feet, and lost his voice:
"Ge Dog Rile, it's Lao Tzu's family who strangles the cow!"
The young man got up and hurried away.
By this time, on the distant hillside, the fire on the tail of the ox had expanded, and the once tame buffalo was now burning mad - like a raging tiger! I saw this sturdy bull of more than 800 catties panting, his red eyes seemed to burst out, and he was rampage roughly, and his sharp horns were like sharp knives.
If there is a fire, also known as "walking water", what can extinguish the fire? This is a question that even the children who are whispering on the hillside at the moment know - it is water, of course.
Obviously, the big buffalo was not stupid, so it stared at the reddened eyes and rushed to the nearest paddy field, seeing that the second crop of seedlings that had just been planted a few days ago was about to be tragically attacked by the "poisonous hands", or rather, poisonous feet, of the irritated buffalo.
When the galloping buffalo was less than a foot away from this unfortunate rice field, the peasant youth under the tree had already arrived, he faced the buffalo with his back to the rice field, held his breath, and had steadily tied up a horse step, staring at the horns of the buffalo crashing with his eyes.
The buffalo's horns were still fluttering, and it seemed to be burned so painfully that it lost its mind, and it did not even recognize its master, but its four hooves were more forceful, and it rushed towards the boy with great speed.
Isn't this young man crazy? You want to stop this crazy bull alone with your bare hands?
"Bang!" With a muffled sound, the buffalo, which was unstoppable, actually stopped.
Its horns had been firmly grasped by the young man, who had blocked it with only one hand. Of course, the young man's feet had sunk into the mud for nearly half a foot.
The fire on the tail of the wild bull grew brighter and stronger, but when it found that the road to the water source was blocked, the buffalo was furious, and squeezed its four hooves hard, trying to knock the man who stopped him away.
One person and one cow, began to wrestle.
The young man was angry, he snorted, his feet sank down three inches again, he struggled to lift, and actually pushed up the upper body of the big buffalo, and then he pulled out his deep right foot and tripped on the cow's hooves, and his body slammed into the cow's shoulder, "boom" There was a loud bang, and the strong cow of more than 800 catties was overturned to the ground by this lean young man!
After the buffalo fell to the ground, it still struggled, the young man made a mistake with his right hand, locked its horns and pressed it to the ground, let the mad bull use all his strength, but this hand did not move as if it was cast in iron, and the young man said in a deep voice to the struggling buffalo:
"Gegou Rile, Lao Niu, it's me, don't move, I'll help you put out the fire!"
With that, he turned over and rode on the back of the ox, still holding the horns firmly with his right hand, and picked up a piece of mud with his left hand, and pasted the mud on the tail of the buffalo, extinguishing the fire.
Fingers ran over the tail of the ox, and he found that the tail of the ox was tied to a ball of extremely flammable hay, and it had a strong saltpeter smell, it seemed that this fire was not accidental, but man-made, but who had a grudge against him?
The buffalo, which was held to death, seemed to calm down a lot, and the fire on its tail was extinguished, and gradually, the bloodshot in the buffalo's eyes faded and the breathing in its mouth calmed down.
So the young man got up, and with great strength in his arm, the buffalo was lifted up by it and stood again, and the old cow seemed to know that it was the master who saved him, and his eyes were moist, and he gently pressed his horns against the master, and then stretched out his tongue and licked the young man's face.
The young man who frowned slightly gently stroked the buffalo's huge head a few times, then slapped the buffalo's buttocks, pointed in the direction of the village, and said:
"Lao Niu, individuals (with 'themselves') go home and cut (with 'go'), and I will come with a hal (with 'a while')."
The big buffalo is quite human, and turned its head and walked home, but its tail seemed to be burned badly, and it hung down between its hips, and it could no longer shake it like usual to drive away mosquitoes......
The young man turned and walked to the rice field behind him, washed the soil on his hands and feet, he sat on the ridge, looked at the seedlings he had planted a few days ago, fortunately arrived in time, the seedlings were not broken, and he was in a much calmer mood because of the bad burning of the cattle, and gradually became satisfied and calm.
Just like the peace and tranquility of all the farmer looking at the fruits of his hard work.
But at this moment, the whispers of several childish children sounded from behind, but they reached his ears-
