There are endless questions in the world, and the Buddha will give most of the answers, but there are always some questions that will not be answered, but will be silent.

The Buddha said: These questions are too vague for mortals, and even if they are understood, they will not be of any benefit, but will easily lead them astray.

Just like a man who has poisoned an arrow, the poison is spreading, but instead of detoxifying, he seeks the height, weight, and color of the person who shoots the arrow, what material is used to shoot the arrow, and which bird or beast the arrow feathers come from......

In a finite life, if we do not seek how to get out of the sea of suffering, but instead pursue these empty and endless questions, we will only lead to destruction.

The Buddha also intended this.

He then stood up and said that there was no point in pursuing these questions, and that his vision and realm would not only perfectly explain why he was silent in the first place, but also reap a wave of reverence.

[It is easy to practice the precepts, but it is difficult to prescribe the precepts. 】

[For the sake of cultivating Buddha, and keeping the precepts, putting the cart before the horse.] 】

[Take refuge in the heart of the Buddha, even if you have no precepts, do not leave home, and practice Buddhism. 】

[When you get the way, the precept is self-contained. 】

[Wu Youwu, then abandon the precepts, cultivate the heart of the Buddha, and realize the worries. 】

[When the Heavenly Master heard this, he praised it: This method, not leaving home, not keeping precepts, cultivating the mind, everyone can do it, and the world will be transformed, and the merit is immeasurable. 】

[So let the people imitate it, focus on it, and not re-discipline. 】

[Everyone in the world praises it, and the believers like it, and they follow suit, do not take the precepts, but also practice Buddhism at home, called disciples. 】

[The more people follow suit, in order to make a difference, take the Dharma with the heart, and the Buddha with the heart. 】

Daomen Heavenly Master once discussed Taoism with Jiang He and was full of praise for his Taoist attainments.

Although there is a gap in identity and strength, he is also a confidant.

After hearing what Jiang He and Wu You discussed, he thought it was even more true-

Daomen are similar to Buddhism, and they also have many rules and precepts.

These precepts bind the disciples and urged them to practice in the Tao.

But here's the problem.

No matter how many rules and precepts there are, there will still be people who can't control their desires and become traitors.

On the contrary, the precepts themselves have become extremely complex and bloated over the years, even if they are only occasionally repaired.

Subdivided, there are thousands of them!

With so many precepts, it takes a long time for many Taoists to recite them, so how can they have the effect of urging them?

Daomen Heavenly Master just took this opportunity to make a change.

Instead of directly removing all the precepts, a new idea was proposed.

Gravity, no receptivity.

The precepts are dead, but man is alive.

If the act is unintentional or extenuating, it may be reduced or even not punished, as appropriate.

If the mind is wrong, even if you steal a leak in the precepts, you should be punished severely.

As for the person who judges, he should be a person of high moral character.

If there is any dissatisfaction, you can report it to the higher level and let the Heavenly Master make a decision himself.

With the reform of the Daomen, many Daoists are comfortable, and they praise Jiang He again and again.

Those who worship the Buddha in the world are also moved.

Ultimately......

People are born with desires.

People who are willing to see through the red dust, let go of everything, and become a monk and cultivate Buddhism are indeed religious.

But those who can't let go of the red dust and are attached to their families, aren't the hearts of worshipping the Buddha pious?

Aren't they considered to be practicing Buddhism?

In fact, this kind of lay disciples are the real public believers.

It is the true cornerstone of Buddhism.

Jiang He's method of mind Buddha undoubtedly fits their state of mind.

They agree with the concept of the Buddha and believe from the bottom of their hearts that even if they don't take the precepts and don't leave the house, as long as they have good thoughts in their hearts, they practice Buddhism with all their hearts.
