Chapter 15: Potions Lesson
Main Quest: Legacy Culture 1 (Completed: 1/1), Requirements: Become the inheritor of at least one type of magic.
Reward: 3000 rune points.
Looking at the main quest that has been completed, as well as the 3000 rune points that have arrived, Louis feels pretty good, but he just doesn't know why there is no system reminder.
System: "In order not to disturb the host's learning, please check the task information by the host, and the task will automatically appear when a certain requirement is met." ”
"It's okay, it's pretty good." Louis thought about it, and felt that it was not bad if the system didn't remind him, after all, he couldn't guarantee that he would be frightened when he suddenly heard a voice in his head when he was doing something in the future.
If things go wrong because of this, then it is really ridiculous and generous.
In the afternoon, Louis had been carving the second-level defense rune, intending to inscribe the entire dormitory so that it would be at least safer.
As for the more advanced runes, he felt that the runes that had been engraved were not impossible to dismantle, otherwise, he would probably have to forcibly put a layer of newspaper or something on the surface of the wall in the future.
It wasn't until late evening that Louis finished his portrayal, went to dinner with Hermione, and then went back to the common room to study.
Listening to Hermione, Harry went to the library, it seems that it was due to the fact that he didn't buy many books.
This was a rare thing in the original books, after all, Harry didn't usually go to a place like the library unless he had to.
In the days that followed, Louis spent time with Hermione Harry, sometimes going out around the campus, mostly to find his way.
He spent a small portion of his time in Professor McGonagall's office, as he was eating the small stove that Professor McGonagall had given him.
It was expected that it would be another three weeks before he could fully consume the first-year textbook, and it would be up to Professor McGonagall to teach him.
Other than that, he spent most of his time studying with Hermione in the Gryffindor common room or library, and Neville often looked at them.
However, it seems that because of introversion, I dare not ask them to study together.
Louis can't help him, at this time, it's better to try to let Neville speak on his own, after all, he can't help Neville for a lifetime.
Sometimes, for some introverts, you just need to open your mouth, and you may find that communication is not as difficult as you think.
The same is true of Neville in the original book, and he has changed more than a little bit later than at the beginning, which can be said to be two people.
It was Friday, and the morning of that day was the course of two Potions lessons.
While eating breakfast in the dining room, Louis wisely took the sandwich in his hand to avoid the fate of the owl for breakfast, but looking at his sister's eyes staring at the sandwich in his hand, he could only divide half of it.
Why did he forget to take two copies?
While eating the remaining sandwiches, Louis also saw Harry receive a letter.
"Is it swollen, Harry?"
Louis had something in his mouth, and he couldn't hear it very clearly.
Harry said, "Hagrid invited me to tea in the afternoon, would you like to come along?" ”
"Hmm~" Louis thought about it, he hadn't played much in the past week, so he took it as a reward for himself and relaxed.
"Where's my sister?"
"Say it yourself, I'm wondering how I'm going to spend my Potions class, and Professor Snape doesn't seem to like me very much." Harry said with a grimace.
"Okay."
Professor Snape...... I have mixed feelings for you. Louis thought and then told Hermione about the afternoon, and Hermione readily agreed.
The Potions classroom is in an underground classroom, and because it is a Potions classroom, there are animal specimens on the shelves.
Soon, when the time came, Professor Snape appeared and strode from the door to the podium, finally picking up the roll call.
At the mention of Louis's name, his gaze lingered for a moment, and then his attention was on Harry.
"Harry Potter, oh yes, this is our famous Mr. Potter, but I hope that Mr. Potter's strength matches his fame, doesn't it?"
"Yes, Professor." Harry replied forcefully.
Draco and his henchmen were already laughing, as if mocking Harry's inadequacy.
"Okay, I'll see." Professor Snape said with a deep look at Harry. When the roll call was finished, he swept towards the classroom with deep, hollow eyes.
Snape had the same abilities as Professor McGonagall, and the classroom fell silent as he looked at the entire professor.
"You've come here to learn the exact science of potion making, and its rigorous craftsmanship."
"I don't expect you to learn the mysteries of potions, but I can teach you how to increase your prestige, brew glory, and even stop death...... But one thing has to be that you're not the kind of stupid fools I often encounter. ”
Hearing this, Louis knew the main event was coming.
"So, Potter!" Professor Snape said suddenly, "What do I get if I add daffodil root powder to wormwood infusion?" ”
Hermione, who was sitting next to her, subconsciously wanted to raise her hand, but was held down by Louis.
Looking at Hermione's eyes, which seemed to want a reason, Louis whispered, "Explain to you after class, don't raise your hand in this class." ”
She didn't know why, but Hermione listened to Louis.
"Narcissus root powder and wormwood together can be formulated into a very potent sleeping pill, which is a serving of life and death water." Harry recalled for a while, and said without hesitation, this knowledge point was tutored by Louis before, and it was not a few days later, so he didn't forget it at all.
Snape was a little surprised, but continued to ask, "If I asked you to find me a piece of bezoar, where would you find it?" ”
"In the stomach of a cow."
"What is the difference between scapholoid aconitum and wolf venom aconitum?"
"There is no difference, it's all aconitum."
Listening to Harry answer these three questions, Louis secretly refreshed in his heart, he had already tutored Harry with these questions, and Harry had no difficulty answering them.
He looked at Snape, so what are you going to do next, Professor Snape?
I don't know that because these three questions were all tutored by Louis to Harry before, Harry subconsciously looked at Louis, and Snape reacted instantly.
He turned his head and saw Louis's face with a hint of a smile.
"Louis!" Snape shouted.
The smile on Louis's face froze instantly, and then he stood up in a state of apprehension.
