Something final
Thank God, the book is finally over (laughs...). )
The original source of writing for the Inhuman Alliance came from a character in another book of mine. In that book, I created a tiger demon, although it was only a supporting character, but I liked it quite much, so I came up with the idea of writing a special chapter for him, which is the prototype of Zhang Lie.
Later, the heartthrob Blatter and the stubborn Anne led to the birth of this work. But it's a little helpless that the two of them, who are the first supporting characters in this book, seem to have always been more popular than the protagonists...
Unlike the style of the previous two games, this time I tried to see the world from an "inhuman" perspective, so sometimes the actions of the characters in the book do not conform to the standard morality. And I also try to add some conflicts and reflections on human and non-human interests, values, and concepts, whether this attempt is successful or not, some of the things I want to express through this book can be more or less revealed to the reader.
Because of this, the tone of the book is somewhat dark, and many times I put all three characters in a whirlpool of contradictions, which not only comes from the struggle with humanity, but also from the confusion of oneself.
Zhang Lie is a very decisive person, I have written more than once in the book, he knows very well what he wants to do, and he does it without hesitation. Although this crisp and neat personality makes him seem a little "sinister" at times, in essence, I admire this kind of person the most.
Therefore, his character is the purest.
In contrast, Anne's personality can be attributed more to "stubbornness", daring to love and hate, and some going to extremes. As one reader put it, she is like a double-edged sword, and both those who try to approach her, and those she tries to approach, will be hurt. Many times when I write this character, I can't help but sigh for this girl with a rough fate, but I think many readers have been relieved to see that at the end of this book, she finally has a trace of happiness of her own.
So, her character is the cleanest.
Compared with Zhang Lie and Annie, Blatter is obviously more "human", so he also bears more pain. His pain comes more from the confusion of his own identity, as well as the inexplicable and unexplained relationship with Pared and Jude. In some ways, Blatter's "stubbornness" is no less than Anne's, so the moment his fangs bite into Jude's neck, no one will be able to understand the pain in his heart, right?
Compared to Zhang Lie and Annie, this blood prince needs our blessing more.
So, his personality is the most contradictory.
Finally, let's talk about the destruction of Mongolia. After writing the whole book, I suddenly found that this character didn't even understand me as the author, and when I created him, I only had the idea of simply making a villain, but as the writing deepened, the unique charm of this guy gradually revealed. The arrogance of ignoring everything and acting only on one's own preferences is sometimes quite attractive.
I really couldn't think of what to use to describe him, and it suddenly occurred to me that in terms of strength and some aspects, he actually resembled a person, and that was the Majin Buu from "Dragon Ball"... (Well, you didn't say that when I did.) )
So, his character is the most complicated.
Limited by space, there are many characters that can't be described one by one, such as the werewolf Mark I like, the amazing and brilliant Lever, and Jian Xian who controls everything behind the scenes... Wait, all these characters have poured my heart and soul into them.
I would like to conclude with a thank you for your continued support, and to commemorate the painful and happy days and nights that I have spent more than a year writing this book.
See you in our new book~
