Chapter 357: Exquisite and Complex
Elidy knew that dragons were wise, and that Dragonax had become even more treacherous and cunning in his short life. There is almost nothing that is impossible for this twilight dragon. Sinistra greatly accelerated the Twilight Dragon's physical and mental development - how terrifying would it be if this Dragonax lived for another year?!
This fear strengthened Elidi's resolve, and she questioned the soul that lurked in this mortal body—now that Zzeraku was here, she couldn't let the Twilight Dragon live!
So, Elidi offered herself as a sacrifice, and the staff channeled more and more energy to the Void Dragon.
Zzerakul's body swelled again, growing more terrifying. He flapped his wings and slammed into Dagonax, engulfing himself and his enemies in a hurricane of magic. The Twilight Dragon tried to escape into nothingness, but the hurricane was filled with the energy of Eliditonguò's staff, and he couldn't avoid Zzerakul's giant wing combo.
In passive, the wings on one side of Dragonax flickered to materialize, followed by the leg on the right rear and his torso. With each manifestation, the Twilight Dragon groaned in pain.
Can it work!" Elidi's heart was still pounding, but she felt as if she was going to die. Zzerakul can take out Dragonax in no time!
However, at this moment of victory, a black shockwave shot out from the burning peak. To Elidi's surprise, it wasn't targeting Zzeraku - the blaster hit Dragonax from behind.
But the Twilight Dragon is unharmed, and he stops moaning and begins to roar in pleasure.
"It's so cool!" The sound was heard throughout Grimbaatar. "Again, again, I want more!"
Before Zzelaku could come to his senses, Dragonax swooped in, glowing wings and claws clamping down on the Void Dragon. Even though Zzeraku hadn't shown any physical presence yet, that didn't seem to stop the Twilight Dragon from holding him tightly in his hands. The Void Dragon struggled with all his might, but the monstrous opponent he faced only tightened tighter.
"You've filled my belly countless times," Dragonax grinned. "This is the last time, good meal!"
Twilight Dragon raised his head as he spoke. Zzeraku screamed, his body rippling like a fantasy. The Void Dragon's form twisted, and gradually began to turn into a cloud of mist.
"No! Don't! No!" Elidy screamed. She would have been able to save Zzeraku soon.
The Void Dragon felt like he was fading away, his end approaching. For now, he only hoped that the brave little Draenei would not perish with him...... How great she was, how brave, how loyal! He had despised the tiny creatures, including her, of course, but now Zzelaku regretted them, though they were small, though they were weak. Although they have fragile bodies, they are far more admirable than themselves.
When he tries to break the connection between the two men, Elidi refuses. The Draenei remained steadfast in their help to him, and their destinies were now inextricably linked.
Zzeraku had only one chance left, and he let out a defiant rant one last time. Concentrate on interfering with the spell attached to the Devourer's claws to free his illusory body.
The Void Dragon tried, but he felt something in Dragonak's body resisting his strength. The Devourer screamed, quickly calming down.
"No......" the Devourer murmured. "No, you can't escape ......"
Zzerakul felt the tentacles of those energies tear at him within. He clearly felt that he was gradually being torn to shreds, but there was nothing he could do...... He couldn't save himself, and he couldn't save Elidy...... The Void Dragon tried to stop its dissipation, but to no avail. The twilight dragon that grabbed him swelled horribly and deformed as it absorbed its own essence. Zzerakul's consciousness was gradually shattered, and he now looked like a strange, disgusting mass of colloid. He passed on the last of his complete thoughts to the priestess:
I'm sorry...... I'm sorry, my friend.
After Dragonax had absorbed all of Zzelaku's essence. Turned his attention to the staff...... and Elidi, who held the staff......
The Draenei knelt there trembling and nearly collapsed. She sighed and let out a groan, and just like that, she fell. The staff fell from her grasp—but it didn't disappear this time, and it rolled a few times on the rock bed before it came to rest not far below its master.
The light on the large crystal faded, and it now looked like a dull stone.
I've let you down...... The priestess repented in agony. Brave Zzelaku, my friend...... I've let you down......
Elidi reluctantly raised her head and looked at the sky, hoping that the Void Dragon would have a slight chance to turn the tide around-
But with a cry of pain, the Void Dragon turned into a vortex of energy that Dragonax sucked in. The Twilight Dragon growled in contentment, and he became stronger than ever.
The horror of the sight ravaged Elidi's nerves and tormented her body in agony—the priestess drooped her head in double agony. Loss of consciousness.
Calek's spell enveloped Ronin and Winlessa, flying with them near the dwarf and breaking open. The two people staggered out of the rift, and the big ball just disappeared.
Glinda lunged at the two men head-on. "Winlessa, wizard, thank goodness, what about the others?"
Ronin shook his head. "I don't know what happened to them...... Especially Elidy and Rom. “
"Rom?" The female dwarf looked worried. "You mean ......?"
"He disappeared in battle, leading away a large group of dragonmen. ”
"Probably Lasker. Winlessa added.
"He—he died for glory. Glinda blushed and tried to turn her attention to something else. "So, what about the Draenei?"
"She's supposed to be right around here......" The violent eruption of Grimbaatar lit up large swaths of the vicinity, sometimes as bright as day.
A roar drew everyone's attention to the sky, and Drakonax hovered over the erupting volcano, growing more terrifying against the backdrop of the pillar of fire. It's like a demon king from hell.
"What's wrong with the Void Dragon?" The wizard asked the others.
A terrifying blast of black energy shot out from Grimbaatar that enhanced the Twilight Dragon. There was a time when a pale blue light connected to Zzeraku, making him stronger, but not enough to win-"
"Pale blue--Elidi! she must be doing something! I hope she's not hurt-"
Before Ronin could finish speaking, Dragonax had already spotted them, and he laughed loudly, "Look closely at the hell around you! Feel the fear! You scum, this will soon be the last thing you will see in this world!"
"How do these guys like such lines......" Luo Ning couldn't help but complain on the side. He walked up to Winlessa and Glinda. "Disperse, you guys, maybe I have a chance to delay him long enough for you—"
"I'm not going to leave you here alone. The ranger protested loudly.
"Dwarves will never run away from a large lizard again. Glinda yelled at Ronin, her voice winning the unanimous approval of the other dwarves around her.
Ronin didn't have time to argue with them, and Dragonax was swooping down on them. The wizard racked his brain to recall what he knew about dragons, hoping to find something to tell him what to do next. Not to mention that he was now exhausted and stinky skin, even in a state of perfection, Luo Ning did not dare to say that he could repel such a dragon.
But he had to give it a try. A group of white branches spread over Dragonax, looking like they had grabbed Zzeraku in the bay, and Ronin designed them to be more elaborate and intricate. (To be continued.) )
