Chapter 408: Moros
The dragons had fled the battlefield, but Khadgar couldn't blame them. Despite Medivan's great strength, and despite the greater power displayed by his mother Egwene, they were only two small candles in the face of the powerful force of nature of the Fallen Titans.
"Sargeras," Egwene breathed.
"Guardian," the roar of the Fallen Titans was as deep as the sea, and the ice walls in the distance didn't even send an echo, they collapsed directly.
Egwene straightened up, tucked the messy blonde hair around his ear, and said, "Your toys have been wiped out by me, and you have completely failed here, so run away while you still have your life." โ
Khadgar looked at the Guardian and oh my god, is she crazy. Even he could tell that she had been exhausted by the battle, and that she was as weak as Khadgar had been when she had dealt with the orcs, and that this fallen titan would not be fooled by her. Epic says that Egwene won in the end, and he, shouldn't he see another ending, Egwene died?
Sargeras didn't even laugh, but his loud voice rolled across the earth and oppressed Khadgar, "The age of Tirisfa has come to an end," said the Fallen Titan, "The world will soon fall under the onslaught of the Burning Legion." โ
"As long as there are guardians of this world," said Egwen, "as long as I live, nothing like this will happen," her fingers curled slightly, and Khadgar could see that she was resummoning her powers, gathering her energy, her intelligence, her will, her energy, ready to launch an attack.
Khadgar took a step back, then another step, and then another, he was a little disdainful of himself, but since the old self could see himself in the illusion, and since the young Medivan could see himself in the illusion, could these two more powerful forces, the great mage and the fallen titan, not see it?
Or maybe he's so small that he doesn't deserve to be noticed. Maybe?
"Surrender. Now, "Sargeras rumbles" I need your strength. โ
"Never," Egwene clenched his fists.
"Then die, Guardian. Your world will be ruined with you," the Fallen Titan raised his spear dripping with searing blood.
Egwene raised his hands and let out a cry that was half curse and half prayer. Her palms emitted a flowing rainbow with colors never before seen in the world, like conscious lightning bolts into the middle of Sargeras's chest.
In Khadgar's mind, it was like shooting a bow and arrow into a big ship. It won't have any effect at all. But Sargeras staggered back a small step under this blow, and the huge spear in his hand also fell to the ground, like a meteorite hitting the ground, and the ice and snow on the ground set off huge ripples under the heavy blow, and Khadgar stood unsteadily, kneeling on one knee, looking up at the fallen Titan.
After Egwen's magic hit, a dark spot spread across Sargeras's chest, no, not a black spot. It was an icy shadow of death, the part of his scorching bronze body that had been struck replaced by cold, inert metal that represented ruin that began to spread from the center of his chest like wildfire.
Sargeras began to marvel at the spreading destruction, then panicked, and then frightened, and he touched the destroyed body parts with one hand, and then the change began on this hand, leaving only the black, rough, inert metal. Sargeras began to chant, gathering all the energy to heal himself, and he tried to reverse the process. Stop this undercurrent and extinguish the wildfires that devastate miรจ. His tone grew more and more intense, and the unaffected skin was protected by a higher intensity. He became as hot as the sun and roared loudly. It's like those black shadows of death have invaded his heart.
Then another bolt of lightning concentrated in the center of Sargeras's body, as intense and aggressive as the last. Khadgar turned to look at Egwen, who was observing her foe surrounded by fire and darkness. The firelight lit up the entire sky, leaving a long shadow behind her and the battle was over......
Khadgar turned around and blinked, the fire was too bright. Returning to the Rift, he found that the Fallen Titan, Sargeras, had fallen to the ground. It's like a pile of ordinary statues cast in metal, and life has burned out. The ground could not bear the heavy body of the Titan, and Sargeras slowly sank, as if he had fallen into the ground and smashed a hole......
The surrounding qiฤ gradually calmed down.
Egwene laughed, though he looked exhausted. She rubbed her hands together and giggled as she walked over to the Titan, who had fallen not far away. Khadgar noticed that her descent was difficult, not floating lightly on top of the snow as she had at first.
As Egwene drifted away, the library's original appearance was revealed. The ice and snow sublimated into a thick steam and disappeared. Bookshelves, hallways, and chairs gradually reveal their dark shadows.
Khadgar mechanically spun around and returned to the workbench. The surrounding qiฤ was normal, and I couldn't tell that anything had just happened here.
Khadgar exhaled a breath of cold air and rubbed his cold hands, well, the magic worked well, though not so precisely, summoning a clear illusion, though not the one Khadgar had originally thought. What's the problem? It needs to be found and fixed.
The young mage took out his writing instrument bag, found a few blank pieces of parchment, and then filled his iron pen with a nib, dipped it in the octopus ink in the ink, and began to quickly record what had just happened, from how he cast the spell until Egwen got stuck in the snow and walked farther and farther......
An hour passed quickly, and Khadgar was still deep in thinking and writing, well, there was a knock on the door? Moros had already knocked twice when Khadgar reacted.
Khadgar looked up a little annoyed, he had just thought of something very important, but he just couldn't grasp the content of the details, as if they were deliberately avoiding him, wandering around the edge of his thoughts.
"The mage is back," Moros said. "He wants you to hurry up to the top of the observatory. โ
Khadgar looked at Moros blankly, and before he could come back to his senses, "Medivan is back!?", he finally reacted.
"That's right," Moros said, shuddered with each word. "He wants you to fly with him to Stormwind. โ
"Stormwind?," Khadgar was surprised.
"You're his apprentice, I think that's probably the reason," Moros still frowned. "Observatory, top floor. The griffons have arrived. โ
Khadgar looked at his parchment, it was full of neat handwriting, the details of what had just happened were clearly recorded, but there was still something that needed to be studied further. Then he made up his mind, "Okay, okay, let me pack my things first." โ
"Whatever you want," Moros said. "It's just that the ** master wants you to fly to Stormwind City with him, it's not a big deal. Then he turned and went into the hallway. "Top floor," followed by his hollow, echo-like voice.
Khadgar couldn't figure it out, it was King Lane's castle, why did his little mage go there, was it because of the orc reports?
Khadgar looked at the notes he had just written, his mind disrupted by the news of Medivan's return and their departure together, and his mind was now full of new adventures to Stormwind.
He noticed the last sentence he had written: Egwen had two shadows......
Khadgar shook his head, whatever he wanted to continue writing was now impossible to remember. He used blotting paper to blot up the excess ink and set the parchment aside. Then he sorted out his tools and quickly returned to his accommodation. If he wants to go out on a griffin, he needs to change into travel clothes. Also, if you want to meet the royal family, you can't do it without wearing your best magic cloak. (To be continued.) )
