Chapter 65: Internal Problems
Mrs. Pince's voice was not loud, but her vulture-like eyes could still scare people into speech.
If you've ever studied in a library, you're bound to be in awe of the administrators.
Unfortunately, Ravenclaw was a regular visitor to the library, and to the eagles, who had not yet learned to leave the school and fly alone, Mrs. Pince was no less feared than Professor Snape and more feared than Filch, the administrator.
Penelope couldn't help but get nervous, and Michael lost his ability to speak.
No matter how domineering and commanding he was when he faced Isobel before, he had now lost that spare strength.
"It's just...... It's just that. ”
Several times in quick succession, he seemed to want to say something, but he couldn't say anything at all.
In the end, it was the prefect Penelope who came forward to clear the siege.
"Nothing, ma'am, just some arrangements and disagreements within the Academy."
"Hmm."
Glancing at the usually well-behaved girl, Mrs. Pince nodded slowly.
"I understand the conflict within the house, and I understand the conflict between you students, but whether you're discussing studies, lessons, or Quidditch, I don't want you to disturb the rest of the class, understand?"
"Of course I do, Mrs. Pince."
"If you're not here to read in the library, leave."
Mrs. Pince said nonchalantly.
Although the feather duster has not yet fallen, it is already a clear drive.
Penelope really didn't mean to stay in the library any longer, she just reached out and patted Michael on the shoulder.
"Let's go."
"But ......"
He still looked a little unwilling, but Penelope didn't give him a chance to continue 'talking'.
"What but, no but ......"
And so they left, and the hustle and bustle of the library ended.
It's just that Isobel didn't leave directly.
She was originally here for the library, so there was no need to change her schedule.
"Madam, I'm here to return the book."
She spoke, and handed a book to Mrs. Pince.
"Hmm."
When her gaze turned to Isobel's, Madame Pins's stern gaze softened.
"Do you want to borrow anything?"
"Yes."
Isobel just smiled enthusiastically.
"This is a note from Professor McGonagall, and I want to borrow this book."
"Hmmm......"
Glancing at the contents of the slip, Mrs. Pince's expression suddenly became strange.
[Because of Isobel McDoug's excellent academic performance and good performance, he is hereby approved to borrow "Human Deformation"]
"The book ......"
"What's wrong?"
"It's nothing, someone just returned the book today."
"Well, I know, so I'm here to borrow it today."
To put it mildly, she seemed to say something.
Mrs. Pince was stunned for a moment, and could not help but look at a boy who had not yet found his seat, and his eyelids were jumping.
Which personality is this woman out there today?
Before Connor could think deeply, he saw Isobel turn around generously and beckon, completely indifferent to the eyes of others.
"You're in the library, too."
"Hmm."
Mrs. Pince hadn't had time to take back the copy of The Transfiguration of the Human Body, and Isobel was quick to get the book.
After signing her name on the list, she quickly walked briskly to Connor's shore.
"Did you find a seat?"
"No, there seem to be a lot of people in the library during this time."
As far as the eye can see, the entire library isn't actually overcrowded, but the desks are mostly full.
Either occupied by a group, or occupied by a group of threes and twos, those who are alone exude an aura of no one entering, making it impossible to get close.
"If I can't find a place, I'm actually going back to the lounge."
"Hey, if you don't have a seat, you can come to me."
Cedric spoke.
Neither he nor Cho Chang seemed to mind that, but Connor hesitated.
"I think it's better for us not to bother them, what do you say?"
Isobel spoke.
"I happen to know someone here."
After also walking around the library, she zeroed in on a person.
"Come with me."
Following her, Connor walked to a table where there was only one girl: Hermione Granger.
"Hermione, can I sit here?"
She asked with a smile.
"Yes, you can."
After her gaze swept over Connor, Hermione nodded slowly.
"Okay, then we'll sit here."
Seeing this scene in the library, Michael was a little angry.
"I knew she had always been associated with that Hufflepuff McMeb!"
The words seem to have completely pushed the fault to this aspect.
"Is there an academy in her eyes?"
For a while, the two friends around him seemed to be emotionally driven by him, and Anthony and Terry were a little indignant.
But as a prefect, Penelope is definitely not going to mess around with them.
She frowned unconsciously.
She hadn't paid much attention to it before, and when she wondered if she could ask Isobel for a favor, he and a few of his friends came up.
Nominally, he seems to be putting on a warm-hearted appearance, saying that he is here to persuade, but in fact, the words are full of arrogant and commanding attitudes.
And those that Isobel said before ......
"Kona, let me ask you, is what Isobel said before?"
Thinking of this, Penelope couldn't help but ask.
"Are you really uniting to isolate her?"
"Huh? That...... Those. ”
Michael, who was still angry, suddenly stumbled between his words.
"It didn't get to that point, it was clear that there was a conflict before, but she still got close to the Hufflepuff people and then ......"
"I'll just ask you if it's you!"
"It's really not to that point, it's just because she does her own thing, and she doesn't care about the contradictions and dignity between the academies at all, so she just wants to teach her a lesson in this regard."
Just an 11-year-old child, speaking and doing things is not mature in all respects.
And how far can a child's words go?
At the very least, it is nothing more than some small contradictions, quarrels or something, and no matter how bad it is, it is a matter of fighting, but what about the big ones?
Because there is no concept of these things, and there is no foundation, there is no surprise when something happens.
"Apologize to her."
Penelope spoke.
"This ...... Why, those things have been going on for a long time, and she hasn't mentioned them again. ”
"If you haven't mentioned it, does that mean you haven't done it?"
Penelope said sternly.
"I thought I should be able to concentrate on my exams...... It looks like we'll have to find a way to clean up the atmosphere inside the academy. ”
“…… Yes, got it. ”
Michael muttered.
It's just that his face is still a little unconvinced.
But, no matter what he thought in his heart, Isobel didn't care.
"A bunch of idiots......"
