Chapter 84: Tumbling Alley (Part II)

"It's Mr. Malfoy, it's okay, I've finished talking about Mr. Borgin's business, so I'll go first."

Luo Cheng glanced meaningfully at Malfoy and his son, and then at the large black cabinet where Harry was hiding, which was not completely closed, leaving a thin slit.

"It seems that Harry Potter still accidentally ended up in Tumbledown Alley as in the plot, which is interesting."

Luo Cheng slowly walked out of the store, throwing a smile at Draco Malfoy that he thought was very kind.

Draco Malfoy was startled by Luo Cheng's smile and couldn't help but grab the corner of his father's clothes.

"Let go, Draco."

Mr. Malfoy was angry at his son's humiliation, "You acted like a timid little girl. ”

"But father." Draco Malfoy said nervously, "I know that person, that guy is a Hogwarts teacher, the same Professor of Moral Education Luo Cheng who suddenly landed last year!" He seems to have taken on a position in the Ministry of Magic. ”

Harry, who was hiding in the cupboard, laughed secretly, this place is not a good place at first glance, and Draco Malfoy, this little bastard, must be afraid that Professor Luo Cheng will find fault with him and deduct points for him.

"Quiet, Draco."

Mr. Malfoy frowned, "What if it's a professor at Hogwarts, since he's also in Mr. Borgin's shop, it means he's-"

"It means that he still has a common language with us."

Mr. Borgin interjected in a tone as smooth as his hair, "Master Malfoy doesn't have to be so afraid, the professors at Hogwarts are not all old-fashioned guys, and Tumbledown Alley is not an illegal place for dark wizards to come, Professor Luo Cheng will not come to you for this little thing, I have exchanged a lot of good things with Professor Luo Cheng today." By the way, Mr. Malfoy, there is no one else here, what can I do for you? I've got a lot of good stuff here, and it's very reasonably priced—"

"I'm not buying anything today, Mr. Borgin, I'm here to sell." Mr. Malfoy said.

"Sell something?"

The smile on Mr. Borgin's face diminished slightly.

"You must have heard that the ministry has stepped up its inspection."

As he spoke, Mr. Malfoy pulled a roll of parchment from the inside pocket of his coat and unfolded it for Mr. Borgin. "I have something in my house that could be inconvenient for me."

Mr. Borgin put on a pair of sniffle glasses and looked down at the list. "I don't think the ministry will bother you, sir?"

Mr. Malfoy pouted.

"Unfortunately, now that the ministry is getting more and more nosy, that scruffy fool Arthur Weasley maliciously searched my manor, and I heard that he is going to encourage some Muggle Protection Act, why doesn't this pure-blood shame divorce his wife and find a Muggle to marry?"

Harry was furious when he heard this, he actually slandered the Weasleys who were so good to him!

"These things are good, but they're not unusual."

Mr. Borgin read the list and was a little interested.

Mr. Malfoy was obviously very unpleasant to hear this, "Mr. Bokin, the things on this are all good things that are in high demand, and I would never have sold them if it hadn't been checked by the ministry." ”

"If you had come an hour earlier, I would have been interested in acquiring it, but now I really don't want to take these things on your list."

Mr. Borgin smiled slyly, "Unless the price is very reasonable." ”

Mr. Malfoy gritted his teeth and said, "So what is a reasonable price?" ”

They began to bargain, and the idle Draco Malfoy was able to see as much as he wanted at the items on sale in the shop, and Harry's heart rose as he approached Harry's hideout. Draco paused to study a long noose, and smirked at the sign on a sumptuous opal necklace: Beware: Don't touch it, it's been spelled—it has taken the lives of nineteen Muggles.

Draco turned and saw the cupboard. He stepped forward and reached for the doorknob.

"It's done," Mr. Malfoy said at the counter, "Come here, Draco!"

Draco turned and walked away, and Harry wiped his forehead with the sleeve of his shirt.

"Goodbye, Mr. Borgin, I'll wait at home tomorrow for you to pick up the goods."

As soon as the door shut, Mr. Borgin put away his flattering tone.

"I really have to thank Mr. Luo Cheng, if it weren't for him, I wouldn't have had a chance to slaughter Lucius's iron rooster." Mr. Borgin muttered happily and went into the back room.

Harry waited a moment, seeing that Mr. Borgin had not come out, and then he slipped out of the closet as quietly as he could, past the glass counters, and out of the door.
