Chapter 17: The Prophecy of Nicolamay

After a busy first week of school, Calvin's life as a professor is getting back on track. This means that he finally has time to finish his business.

On Thursday, Calvin spent his office poring over a tome called Hogwarts Architectural Drawings. This uninteresting book not only records most of the details of Hogwarts Castle's architecture, but also details the magic that the castle carries.

Calvin carefully studied the castle's structure and magic, and on the other hand, he used his wand to direct the blocks, trying to recreate the model of Hogwarts Castle.

It is worth mentioning that these blocks were processed by a batch of tree guards raised by Calvin. Calvin had a knack for exploiting fantastic beasts.

"Plop Down~"

A seagull flew into the office through an open window, left a letter on the desk, and quickly left the office.

Calvin took the letter and saw a familiar monograph on the seal, the emblem of his teacher Nicolame.

The letter was short, and he was asked to meet at three o'clock in the afternoon at Hogsmeade's Hogsmeade Pig's Head Bar.

It seems that there is some clue from the teacher.

At three o'clock in the afternoon, Calvin came to the pig's head bar.

There were already some customers in the store by this time, but Calvin looked around and couldn't find his teacher.

Just as he was about to leave, someone patted Calvin on the shoulder from behind and said in an unfamiliar voice, "Calvin." ”

The reflex developed by years of travel made him want to draw his wand in the first place to fight back, but the man grabbed his hand stretched out to his right waist first, where he was used to hiding his wand.

"Hey, don't be nervous," Nicolamay briefly regained his original voice, "it's me, Calvin." ”

Calvin looked sideways and saw a hooded black-robed wizard standing behind him, his face covered with magic, making it impossible to see clearly, as if it was covered by a layer of black mist.

Calvin still looked at the wizard cautiously, his right hand touching his wand, ready to strike. The man had no choice, and spread out his palm, revealing an amulet containing an intricate pattern of a six-pointed star, which Calvin had made for Nicolamel.

Calvin let his guard down and followed Nicola May to a secluded corner. Nicolemel cast at least seven protective spells before he spoke cautiously.

"Mr. Nicol, why did you come to see me like this?" Calvin was somewhat speechless.

"I've been targeted by mysterious people, and now I don't dare to stay in France." Nicolame took off his hood and showed his old face, "I now live in a safe house in Devon, and Dumbledore himself acts as a secret. ”

"Then why did you come out again, isn't it dangerous?" Calvin frowned.

"I don't want to sit still, the best way to deal with Voldemort's threat as soon as possible is to dodge," Nicolamay said quickly, "I made a prophecy that has something to do with you." ”

Nicol took a crystal ball from his robe and placed it on the table. The white mist in the crystal ball quickly changed, and Calvin could clearly see that it was a room full of debris, the top of which shone black like thick ink, and then it turned into an empty room with only a mirror and two people inside.

When the picture ends, it turns back into a white mist, and an ethereal song sounds:

What is sought, evil is broken.

Where it is, there is no trace.

All men, bear iniquity.

Cursed blood, cursed name.

Fly over the flames, fly over the dead.

Back to old enemies, back to longing

"What do you mean?" Calvin looked up and asked his teacher.

"I don't know," said Nicolamay, spreading his hands, "the prophecy can only be interpreted after it has been fulfilled, or I will be the second Merlin." ”

"Okay," Calvin scratched his head, he only understood the first sentence of the prophecy, which clearly pointed to the Horcrux, "I'll figure it out myself." ”

Nicola May put his hood back on: "The crystal ball is left to you, you better hurry." I had a hunch that when the prophecy in the crystal ball came true, I would be able to return to France. ”

"Got it, got it." Calvin tucked the crystal ball into his sleeve.

Nikola Lemay stared at him and asked solemnly, "You haven't forgotten our agreement, have you?" ”

Calvin took out the hourglass hanging around his neck from his robe, and the sand inside was still pure white. This is an alchemical item made by Nicolame for Calvin, and as long as the sand is still pure white, it means that Calvin has not degenerated into a dark wizard.

Nicol nodded, "Hold on, communicate with me when you're tired, or go find Dumbledore." After saying that, he left the wine table, and after two or three steps, he turned into a puff of green smoke and left the pig's head bar.

Calvin didn't rush back, stuffed the hourglass into his clothes, ordered a glass of rum, and began to ponder the images and lyrics of the prophecy.

With two images and two lyrics in different forms, it seems that Calvin has had two chances to come into contact with Horcruxes, or souls, this school year.

But it is not easy to find, and the place where the prophecy says is nowhere can be found. How could he find it?

Calvin suddenly thought of a legend: the Room of Need. This was still a memory of his previous life, he only knew that there was such a magical room in the castle, but his stay at Hogwarts was too short, and he transferred to Beauxbatons before he could find the Room of Requirement.

Looks like he needs to take a closer look at the castle's secrets. If he really can't, he can ask an old friend.

What does it mean for all people to bear iniquity? Does it refer to Lord Voldemort, the owner of the Horcruxes? Of course he is guilty of sin. Or does it mean that the previous owner of the Horcrux is burdened with sins?

The name of the curse and the flying death are both talking about Voldemort, the village-level terrorist, but what are the cursed blood and flying flames talking about? Turning his back on his old enemy, turning his back on longing, is it saying that after Voldemort's disfigurement, he didn't dare to see people and had to turn his back on others?

I can't figure it out, I don't have a clue at all.

Calvin shook his head secretly, it seemed that it was the right choice to give up the subject of divination in the first place.

With a sip of rum in his glass, Calvin left the bar and returned to school, where he revisited the details of Hogwarts Castle in his office.

Soon, night fell.

Calvin took out a withered arm from the box, the Hand of Glory, which those who held it could use to illuminate in the dark, but others could not see. Calvin carried it into the Pyramid of Khufu, explored Mount Olympus in Greece, and even looked for King Arthur's golden coffin.

Legend has it that the Glorious Hand is the best friend of thieves and robbers. But Calvin doesn't think so, how can the archaeologist's business be called stealing, it is clearly called magic research.

Calvin placed the lit candle in the palm of the Glorious Hand, opened the door, and melted into the thick darkness.

Harry Potter's life at Hogwarts was undoubtedly happy and happy, if it weren't for those two men – Malfoy and Snape.

On Monday, Harry was deducted points by Snape, and Malfoy showed off in front of Harry how much magic his family had cast on the mansion.

On Tuesday, Harry was deducted points by Snape, and Malfoy bragged about having lunch with Minister of Magic Fudge in front of Harry.

On Wednesday, Harry was deducted points by Snape, and Malfoy spent all day talking about broomsticks. He complained loudly that first-year students were not eligible to play on the House Quidditch team, and he told many long, boastful stories, which always ended with his thrilling escape from a Muggle helicopter.

On Thursday, Malfoy snatched Neville's Memory Orb, and Harry instead became a Gryffindor Seeker. A jealous Malfoy offered to engage Harry in a wizarding duel, and he was to teach Harry a hard lesson.

The reckless Harry was so enthusiastic that he didn't even use his brain to accept this ridiculous wizarding duel with Ron.
