Chapter 89: The Prisoner of Azkaban
Atlantic, North Sea,
There is a sea area that blows storms all year round.
It's a forbidden land, not just for Muggles, but for wizards as well.
On a small island deep in the sea, stands the Azkaban prison.
January is not the active month of storms, but biting winds and icy waters still keep outsiders out.
On a rocky reef on the outskirts of the sea, Calvin politely wore a trench coat and looked up at the stormy clouds, flew out of a black carriage, broke through the storm, and finally landed on the rocky reef.
The car door opened, and a short and fat wizard stepped down, and a gust of wind blew, and the politeness on his head flew away, revealing his almost bald head.
"Merlin." Fudge held on to the carriage, which gave him a sense of security.
"The weather is terrible, isn't it, Calvin."
"I don't think this storm is anything compared to the winds and waves you've experienced, Connelly." Calvin reached out and grabbed Fudge, who was about to be blown away.
Listening to Calvin's level of flattery made Fudge feel a little better than the weather.
Soon out of the car came another person, her face pale, her eyes dark and shiny, her hair was exaggerated bubblegum-style pink, she was wearing a weird sister's shirt and patched jeans, and she looked out of place in the whole environment.
"This is Nymphadora Tonks, the Auror who accompanied us to Azkaban." Fudge explained.
Tonks shook Calvin's hand and greeted, "Hello, Calvin. Just call me Tonks. ”
"Hello, Tonks." Calvin narrowed his eyes at the rebellious witch, "Do you know me?" ”
"Well, I've heard of you, Mr. Capet, and you're still famous." Tonks said hurriedly.
"Oh~" Calvin replied in a long voice.
"Alright, Calvin, soon your fame will spread all over England," Fudge was a little impatient, he didn't want to stay in this place any longer, "take us to Azkaban, Tonks." ”
Any means, whether Muggles or wizards, could only reach the reef, and the only way to get to the real Azkaban was to use the small boats that the Ministry of Magic had parked here.
Soon the three of them came to a small island, and several of them walked along a rocky path into Azkaban prison.
It is a triangular structure that occupies most of the island, and the space inside the building has been expanded with a Traceless Stretch Charm to ensure that it can accommodate all British criminals.
Not long after walking, a group of creatures appeared in the hallway, they were about three meters tall, wearing black hooded cloaks, and their bodies were gray, like a tattered rag.
Calvin was familiar with them, Dementors.
They glided slowly across the ground, gray hands stretched out from their cloaks, thin and scarred, with a shove of shriveled wizard corpses behind them.
The Dementors suddenly stopped and turned to look at the three of them, they felt that there were happy memories here, as obvious as a campfire in the darkness.
The Dementors at the head lowered the corpse and walked slowly towards them. Fudge shrank behind Calvin at some point.
Calvin had just pulled out his wand to dispel the Dementors when a silver rabbit sprang out and pushed the approaching Dementors back.
"See clearly, we're not prisoners, Dementors!" Tonks preemptively unleashed the Patronus Charm.
The Dementors turned away, dragging the shriveled corpses again.
"Well done, Tonks." Fudge let out a sigh, "What are those monsters doing?" ”
"Dispose of the corpses in the prison," Tonks put away his wand, "prisoners die every day here, and the Dementors have set up a mass grave behind the prison. What a disgusting creature. ”
Tonks had a look of disgust on his face, and his hair strangely turned gray-black, which Calvin found amusing.
Tonks spotted Calvin staring at his hair and said with a grin, "Disguise Magus, my natural ability. As he spoke, he turned his hair into a bubblegum-like pink.
"Very rare ability." Calvin commented, remembering this important information at the same time.
Fudge interrupted the conversation, "Alright, Calvin, let's hurry, I really don't want to stay here." I must warn you that the prisoners of Azkaban are a bunch of crazy people, and no one can survive under the sucking of Dementors. It was the most brutal torture in the wizarding world. ”
"Mr. Cape, who you want to see, I'll arrange it." Tonks' bubbly personality is not much affected by the cold and dark environment of Azkaban.
"Black, Sirius Black." Calvin said.
Tonks, who was originally active, calmed down suddenly, "Oh, Blake..."
Calvin looked at the young Auror, "Why, you've heard his name too?" ”
"He, he's my relative," Tonks said vaguely, "my cousin." I went to the prison guards. ”
Seeing that Tonks was gone, Fudge turned to Calvin and said, "I really don't know why you're seeing Blake, you should know, he's a Death Eater." ”
"Connelly, there are some things that can always transcend the position and become immortal, such as blood, such as friendship." Calvin did not answer this question head-on.
"That's a good thing." Fudge smiled, "Friendships are always great. ”
"But that's all there is to say, forming friendships with Death Eaters is always a hassle to be heard."
"Connelly, I thought you weren't afraid of these troubles." Calvin said to Fudge with a smile.
"Well, Calvin," Fudge sighed, "my position as Minister of Magic was basically picked up, and I had to win over everyone I could to sit in this chair." ”
"Pure-bloods, half-bloods, and Dumbledore, I'm dancing on three eggs." Fudge said with a wry smile.
Calvin raised an eyebrow and said lightly, "Dancing on three eggs, Connelly, it's a little too dangerous." You'd better prepare some strength, and political struggle is not a little girl's playhouse. ”
Fudge snorted, wondering if he had listened to Calvin's advice.
Calvin couldn't help but sigh in his heart, Dumbledore really protected Britain too well, and such a fool could sit in the position of Minister of Magic in a safe and stable life.
Soon, Tonks returned, leading Calvin through a long black-metal corridor to a pure white cell.
Like a dead dog, two Azkaban guards brought a lean, shaggy black haired wizard into the room, then closed the door and stood guard at it.
"You've only got half an hour." One of the guards said stiffly.
