Chapter 151: Fire Dragon and Yin Corpse

It took Calvin's eyes a moment to adjust to the darkness behind the stone wall, and he saw a faint green light.

Calvin narrowed his eyes, and then he realized that the green glow was a large piece of polished green crystal, carved into a large stone basin.

However, Calvin couldn't see anything other than that little green glow, only the darkness that was so thick that it was condensed, like a suffocating black curtain.

Behind Calvin, a point of light suddenly appeared, it was Sirius, and he used a fluorescent charm. But it didn't work, and Sirius couldn't even see his own shoes clearly.

"I can feel the smell of dark magic here," Sirius' tone was a little agitated, "it must have been left by Voldemort."

"That's true," Calvin nodded, and put his hand in front of him, still without a trace, and really couldn't see his fingers, "Voldemort left a lot of preparations here, just to trap the latecomers."

An even brighter point of light appeared next to Sirius's wand, and Sirius and Calvin saw for the first time in the cave anything other than the green light—Kreacher's fingertips erupted into brighter points of light, illuminating Kreacher and the circle around him.

"How did you do that, is your magic stronger than mine?" Sirius asked, looking at his faint point of light, then at Kreacher's finger.

Calvin rubbed his chin and said, "It should be that the magic system is different, Voldemort is so conceited, he doesn't take the house-elves in the slightest. But it gives me a little bit of inspiration."

Calvin first tried the Glowing Charm himself, and the tip of his wand illuminated the same area as Kreacher, and then he extinguished the Glowing Charm, and the surrounding area was once again covered with a solemn black cloth.

This made Sirius a little uncomfortable, as it had been a long time since he had come out of Azkaban to experience this kind of darkness, which reminded him of facing the Dementors alone.

The darkness didn't last long, though, and he heard the roar of the dragon echoing through the dark cave.

Dragon? Voldemort still left dragons here?

The dragon's roar was certainly not left by Voldemort, but made by Calvin. The tip of Calvin's wand erupted with a violent blue light, illuminating an area around him.

Immediately after, Calvin waved his wand, and he used it as a pen and flames as ink, outlining a huge dragon in the air. Although the flames only depicted the outline of the fire dragon, the blue flames instantly covered the dragon's entire body.

Calvin's dazzling effort drew a flaming dragon clad in blue flames, flying towards the top of the cave, circling around the center. Then, the blue flames that make up the dragon turned incandescent in a very short time.

The blinding white light soon illuminated the entire cave, and Sirius even had to cover his eyes to block out the blazing light emitted by the flame dragon.

"Kaka, can you dim the light from the dragon fire?"

Calvin shrugged his shoulders and said apologetically, "That's what dragonfire is, it's bright and fiery. It might be softer if you used the flames of the phoenix, but I never had the opportunity to study the phoenix." ….

It took a while for Sirius to adjust to this extremely bright environment. Only then did he see the whole picture of the cave—an endless, extremely calm pool of stagnant water, stagnant water in every sense of the word.

Under the waveless surface of the ancient well, there are countless corpses that have sunk into the water, floating quietly.

Sirius could even make out the face of the corpse, the nearest corpse, no more than five feet from the shore, blistered white with stagnant water, like chalk buried deep underground. They were also wearing clothes, mostly blue or gray cargo pants, with the logo of a mine on them.

Calvin crouched down to see the condition of the corpse, and as soon as his head reached out of the shore, he heard a thud and a hand reached out from under the water, breaking the calm water.

"Be careful!" Sirius reminded, "This isn't an ordinary corpse, it's a Yin corpse!"

Sirius's heart ached, was Regulus dragged underwater by such a group of monsters made of dark magic?

Calvin got up and took a step back, slightly away from the shore, and made no secret of his disgust, saying, "If I'm not mistaken, Voldemort is a madman when he slaughtered an entire village of Muggles to create his army of corpses."

Sirius had already drawn his wand and hesitantly aimed at the outstretched Yin corpse, worried about whether it would hurt Regulus's remains.

However, the hands of the Yin Corpses quickly retracted below the surface, and Sirius could clearly see that the Yin Corpses were moving away from the surface of the water and diving into the dark bottom of the lake.

Calvin looked up at the spiraling flame dragon and said calmly, "It seems that my flame dragon has other functions besides lighting."

"Light and fire are the best way to deal with the Yin Corps, Voldemort restricts the use of these two kinds of magic, and he can't apparate, his mind and emotions are also affected, and ordinary wizards come here and die."

"But Voldemort was so conceited that he didn't think about the magic of other systems, such as house-elves, such as magical beasts. Of course, for Voldemort, who has studied dark arts all his life, he may not be able to restrict the magic of other systems at all."

Calvin's mind moved at this time, the magic of other systems? As far as he knew, in addition to humans, there were really many races with a complete magical civilization heritage, such as goblins, centaurs, and merfolk. If you can get a complete system from them, then your understanding of magic will be further deepened.

Calvin looked away from the lake and saw an island in the center of the lake, with a stone platform carved out of complete green crystal and a stone basin at the top. And not far from Calvin, on the shore there was a small boat.

"Go down to Regulus, and I'll study the stone basin." Calvin walked alone to the boat, ready to go to the island in the middle of the lake.

"Mr. Capet!" Kreacher suddenly stopped Calvin.

Calvin glanced back at the elf, "What's the matter?" Kreacher, do you need me to help you find it? To be honest, I don't know Regulus very well."

"No, Kreacher doesn't dare trouble you," Kreacher shook his hand, "I want to ask if Kreacher needs to help you drink the potion in the stone basin."

Sirius was a little shocked, how could Kreacher say such a thing.

"Not yet," Calvin smiled, "I have a solution to the potions Voldemort left behind."
