Chapter 163: A New Patronus

For most of the Easter holidays, Calvin paused his private instruction and simply let them review on their own. Calvin himself locked himself in the Room of Need, day and night, in order to discover the secrets of the Patronus Charm.

As early as his fifth grade, Calvin was able to use the Patronus Charm fluently and summoned a figurative Patronus.

The happiest memory he has in his mind at the time was when he was elected president of the student council.

"Calling the gods to protect you!" Silver-white mist flowed from the tip of Calvin's wand, and soon, a large silver-white tiger roared out of the mist.

The tiger yawned and lay lazily across from Calvin, seemingly ignoring his presence, only the three white eyes opened from time to time, looking at Calvin who was sitting across from him with his chin propped up.

Ever since learning some of the ancient legends of the Patronus from Rowena, Calvin had been in fear. He was reluctant to give his ability to use magic to someone else or another creature, even his Patronus.

Only I can be my own patron saint!

Calvin didn't pay any attention to the napping tiger and started doing something very unthinkable.

"Calling the gods to protect you!"

"Calling the gods to protect you!"

"Calling the gods to protect you!"

This time, Calvin used the method introduced by Professor Flitwick to tell his strongest desire in his heart, and Calvin was not summoning the Patronus, but reconstructing his own Patronus - where the real Patronus was still lying on his stomach?

However, it was not an easy task to reconstruct the Patronus, and it took two days for Calvin to build the two feet of the new Patronus with only the mist of the Patronus Charm, and it consumed a lot of Calvin's mana and stamina.

When Calvin occasionally leaves the Room of Requirement, many people can see that Calvin is not in a normal state.

Hermione, a thoughtful Gryffindor student, noticed Calvin's vain steps and asked cautiously, "Professor Capet, what's wrong with you?"

Calvin glanced back at the student, who was well received by many professors, but he didn't really like Hermione, and he was a little too smart to be restrained.

"No, I'm just experimenting with magic. It's good to rest for a while." Calvin smiled harmlessly.

In the following time, in order to build a new Patronus, he spared no expense - bought a potion from Snape at a high price to restore his magical powers, and then Calvin began another form of painting in the Room of Requirement.

Yes, painting, in essence, Calvin's process of constructing a new Patronus was indeed a reinvention of his soul.

As time went on, the new Patronus became clearer, and although it was silvery and white, and no other color could be seen, anyone familiar with Calvin would recognize that it was an enlarged version of Calvin Capet.

"Is this the Andros Giant-sized Patronus?" Calvin looked at the creation he had built in front of him and couldn't help but sigh again at the magic of magic.

Calvin put his wand to his temple and began to recall all the memories of himself and his Patronus:

In the fifth grade, he summoned the figurative Patronus for the first time; ….

Smuggling into Azkaban while traveling the world only to capture the Dementors;

When I encounter an enemy, I jump out to protect me at the most dangerous time;

And the best companion for experiments under the lone lamp......

Calvin looked at the big tiger lying on the ground lazily in the distance, and said sadly, "I'm sorry, White Tiger......

Then the wand erupted with a dazzling white light, and in Calvin's memory, all memories related to the White Tiger Patronus were replaced with those the size of a giant.

At this time, the big tiger finally panicked, it felt that its strength was weakening like never before, it stood up, desperately trying to run in front of Calvin, wanting to return to the back of Calvin's soul.

But Calvin didn't give it that chance, and a barrier stood between them.

When Calvin opened his eyes again, he stared with joy

The giant beside him, the wand tugged next to his temple, and a thick silver-white memory came out.

As soon as Calvin flicked his wand, the memory was poured into the Patronus's head, and soon, the Patronus opened his eyes and smiled like Calvin on the side.

"Go, take it." Calvin pointed to the White Tiger Patronus outside the barrier, then turned away, not wanting to hear the White Tiger's last wail.

It didn't take long for the Giant Patronus to walk up to Calvin, hang his head, and kneel down on one knee before him.

"Is it painful when it leaves?" Calvin asked.

The Giant Patronus shook his head.

The look on Calvin's face softened slightly, "That's for the best."

Then, under Calvin's control, the Giant Patronus turned into a silver light and disappeared into the Room of Requirement.

Calvin took out his wand and began experimenting with all the magic he had mastered, from the simplest fluorescent spells, levitation spells, to iron armor spells, stun spells, disarming spells, to advanced spells that were extremely difficult to master, such as dragon's breath spells and blizzard spells.

There are no spells that can't be cast, and it's even smoother and easier than when you used them before.

"It was a surprise." Calvin muttered to himself.

Calvin held his wand and began experimenting with one last spell:

"Calling the gods to protect you!"

A large number of silver dots of light escaped from Calvin's wand, which then merged into a cloud of mist, completely enveloping Calvin, but it expanded so fast that it instantly filled half of the Room of Requirement.

After stopping to expand, the silver mist stagnated for a second or two, then quickly contracted, condensing into a silver-white giant more than two people tall, standing in front of Calvin like a statue.

"Tsk, it seems like you're not very flexible yet, but it's okay, I'll take care of these problems for you," Calvin looked at the new Patronus in front of him in admiration, "Let me see what you're up to."

The giant nodded stiffly, and its body turned back into a white mist, and then a tiger emerged from the white mist, looking exactly like Calvin's previous Patronus.

Soon, the white tiger also dissipated into a cloud of mist, and more and more animals came out of the white fog and finally turned into giants again.

"Can I change shapes?" That's not bad," Calvin rubbed his chin, "Let's turn into a white tiger first, so as not to cause unnecessary trouble."

Hearing this, the giant transformed himself back into the form of a white tiger, and then walked in front of Calvin, raised his right paw, and burned a cloud of incandescent flames.

Calvin recognized it at a glance, it was his signature magic - dragon fire.

Calvin couldn't help but think of a few short lines left in Rowener's manuscript:

"The fire thief walked down Mount Kinabalu and brought back a new era, and he did not regret it even if he was pecked by a thousand birds."

Well, I'm the new fire stealer.
