Chapter 3: The Late Night Battle at the Ministry of Magic (1)
At nine o'clock, all the lights were out, and only a few rooms were still occupied, such as the minister's office.
With two thuds, Calvin and Sirius came out of the minister's fireplace not far from the minister's office.
Even through a hallway, Sirius could still detect the dim lights and the laughter of women through the cracks in the door.
"This is your allegiance to the Minister of Magic?" Sirius asked softly.
Calvin retorted with a serious face, "Anyway, Sirius. Apparently he is loyal to me. ”
The two stopped talking nonsense, and Calvin entered the elevator with Sirius.
"Where are we going, Kaka?" Sirius asked with interest.
"Department of Mysteries." Calvin explained, pressing the button on the ninth floor at the same time. Just when he thought everything was going well, a hand blocked the fence that was about to close, and a witch with a wide build, a square chin, short gray hair, and a pair of monocles walked into the elevator.
"Who are you, and why are you at the Ministry of Magic so late?" The witch's serious gaze swept back and forth between Calvin and Sirius' faces.
Calvin knew the witch, Amelia Bones, and it was at Calvin's suggestion that the witch was transferred to the Department of International Magical Cooperation.
Amelia's gaze lingered on Sirius' face for a moment, then she said, "I know you, Sirius Black. What are you doing at the Ministry of Magic so late? ”
She looked at the elevator button and asked, "Nine floors?" You're going to the Department of Mysteries? ”
Sirius couldn't stand Amelia's burning gaze, and he didn't have a good deal with the Hufflepuff prefect at the time when he was in school. Sirius then looked at Calvin and wanted him to deal with the witch.
Amelia also looked at Calvin, looked at it for a moment, and said, "You should be Calvin Capet, senior security advisor of the Ministry of Magic, I don't think you have the authority to go to the Department of Mysteries in the middle of the night." ”
"Actually, I have," Calvin pulled a golden letter from his sleeve, "Secretary Fudge's authorization." I'm going to prophesy with Sirius tonight. ”
"Can you show me?" Amelia reached for the letter, but she didn't believe Calvin's words.
"Ah, Ms. Bones, I think you just need to see Secretary Fudge's signature and date, and as for the specifics of the authorization, I don't think you have the right to see it. If you have objections, you can go to Secretary Fudge tomorrow morning. ”
Calvin showed Fudge's signature and date on the back of the envelope to a grim-faced Bones, who glanced at it and said nothing, pressing the fifth-floor button.
When the elevator stopped, an indifferent female voice said, "Division of International Magical Cooperation." Then the fence opened, and Amelia Bones stepped out of the elevator, glaring back at Calvin.
As the elevator started again, Sirius asked, "Did you really get authorization from Fudge?" ”
"How is that possible?" Calvin chuckled, "Of course I made it up. ”
"Imitation?" Sirius was taken aback.
"Of course, I'm a master of magic painting, and it's not easy to copy Fudge's handwriting."
The door to the elevator opened again, and Calvin and Sirius walked out steadily.
Passing through a dimly lit hallway, Calvin and Sirius stopped in front of a dark door, with only a dimly lit candle illuminating a small area in front of the door.
"Do you want to go in?" Sirius asked.
Calvin took out his Thestrals and looked behind the Black Gate. Only one soul glowed from behind the door, and it looked like the person was sleeping.
"No, we're here to watch." Calvin took off his glasses and said.
Fortunately, the two of them did not wait long, and soon, a dull explosion came from above their heads.
At the same time, directly above them, twenty men broke into the halls of the Ministry of Magic.
Dressed in white hoods and afraid that they would not be inconspicuous, they teleported out of the fireplace in the hall of the Ministry of Magic.
One of the guards first noticed the anomaly when he said to the man in white in the lead, "Sir, sir, who are you?" ”
The man in white at the head did not answer him, and a red light flew out of his sleeve and hit the guard. The wounded guard blew the whistle before falling to the ground, a move that perhaps saved his life.
The footsteps kept approaching, and a dozen or so guards quickly ran towards the man in white, pulling out their wands and pointing at him.
But soon, a dozen men in white also appeared behind their leader, confronting the guards.
"Blasphemous sorcerers, tonight you will die in the Lord's fire." The man in white at the head opened his arms and said loudly.
"I don't care who you are, lay down your arms and surrender at once. This is the British Ministry of Magic, not a place for you to go wild. A bold guard shouted.
The group of men in white responded with a dazzling red light, and the shouting guards spun and flew out.
"Up!" The other guards didn't spare their hands, and all kinds of dazzling spells flew towards the group of white-clothed men.
However, just two seconds later, three guards fell, and a few seconds later, four more were brought down.
Almost instantly, the road in front of the man in white was cleared, and only a few guards ran back in search of support.
The men in white followed suit, chasing the fleeing guards, but they eventually found reinforcements.
"Mr. Scrimgeour, Mr. Maguire!" The guard was overjoyed and ran towards the two, "Someone broke into the magic ......"
Before he could finish his sentence, a red light struck him in the back of the heart. The guard lunged forward, right in front of Scrimgeour and Maguire.
Scrimgeour and Maguire immediately took cover around and looked in the direction the guards had come from.
Scrimgeour saw the nearly twenty men in white striding in his direction. Scrimgeour's face was as dark as water, like an angry lion. He never imagined that someone would dare to break into the Ministry of Magic.
Fortunately, there were eight or nine Aurors behind him. He shouted, "Battle level, five!" Form a three-person battle team and attack freely! ”
With that, Scrimgeour was the first to rush out of cover, pull out the wand hidden in his crutches, and quickly fire a spell at the man in white led by him.
But the man in white skillfully picked out the spell that Scrimgeour had fired, and quickly returned the color with a stun charm.
The Aurors soon found themselves outmatched in firepower, and after two minutes of confrontation, the first wounded Auror appeared, and everyone fought and retreated, and soon reached the vicinity of the elevator.
"Call for support!" Scrimgeour shouted.
Support soon arrived, but instead of the Aurors, it was the former head of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement, Lady Amelia Bones.
