Chapter 73: The Son of Prophecy
"Severus, it's all in the past. If you feel uncomfortable, you may want to talk to me. Calvin refilled Snape with another glass of wine and said seductively, "Say it, and you'll feel better." β
In order to lure Snape on, Calvin resorted to psychic magic.
Snape drank the rum again, holding out a hand and pointing to a spot in the bar: "I was sitting there more than a decade ago, and I heard Albus and... Trelawney's conversation. β
"Trelawney's prophecies have always been inaccurate, and I didn't... Heart. But... I heard the Dark Lord, and I heard her say, "
"The man with the power to conquer the Dark Lord has approached... Born into a family that defeated the Dark Lord three times... Born at the end of the seventh month..."
I heard those three words, and Albus quickly blocked out the surroundings with magic.
"I knew he noticed me, so I left. Take this prophecy... Told the Dark Lord..."
Calvin's eyes narrowed slightly, he knew that Snape might be a Death Eater, but he didn't expect him to play such a crucial role.
"However, I didn't expect that the Dark Lord would believe this prophecy, and he had his eye on it... Harry Potter..."
"I begged him to let Lily go... He agreed... But he killed Lily anyway..."
"So, I killed you, Lily..."
Snape said as he drank, tears streaming down his eyes again.
Calvin was silent, he could probably guess what was going on.
Lily had told him that Severus, whom she knew, was a man of great courage, and it was only now that he understood why Lily was saying that about him.
"I want to see her againβ" were Snape's last words when he was completely drunk.
Calvin sat with a drunken Snape for a long time, silently drank a glass of rum from Snape's cup, removed the magic barrier, and prepared to leave the Hog's Head Bar.
"Wait," Aberforth called Calvin, pointing at a drunken Snape with his finger on a dirty rag, "pay for his drink, and take this drunk away." β
Calvin turned his head and looked at the bartender with some incomprehension.
"Don't stare at me, every time this man gets drunk, Albus pays to take him away."
Calvin was slightly stunned, Dumbledore, did you deliberately reveal it to me?
He took out a Galleon and tossed it to Aberforth, tucking a drunken Snape into his sleeve.
After Calvin threw Snape into his office, he returned to his farm's magic painting, and he began to think carefully about Trelawney's prophecy more than ten years ago:
The man with the power to conquer the Dark Lord has approached... Born into a family that defeated the Dark Lord three times... Born at the end of the seventh month...
So, is Harry Potter the one who defeated Voldemort in the prophecy? No wonder Dumbledore wanted to train him that way.
However, I seem to remember that there was another person who also met the conditions mentioned in the prophecy.
Neville Longbottom, his grandmother said that the Longbottoms escaped from Voldemort three times, and that his birthday was July 30th...
Two Sons of Prophecy?
Calvin came out of the magic painting, and he was going to find a chance to verify it.
-----------------
On Friday night, after a private instruction, Calvin kept Neville behind.
"I'm going to take you to meet your parents, who may wake up sooner after coming into contact with you."
Neville's chubby little face shuddered and opened his mouth wide to reveal his front teeth.
"Really? Will they recognize me? I mean, Professor Capet, you didn't lie to me, did you? β
"I kid you not, you'll be able to receive their Christmas present this year. I'm going to talk to Professor McGonagall and take you out tomorrow morning. β
The next morning, Neville got out of bed early and knocked on the door of Professor Capet's office, much to the displeasure of a white-clad, sleepy-eyed Baas.
"I'm sorry, Miss Caroline, I'm looking for Professor Capet." Longbottom was shy like a girl.
Calvin rubbed Bas's head and told her to go back to sleep a little longer.
"Let's go, don't let your grandma wait."
Calvin left Hogwarts with Neville from Professor McGonagall's fireplace and headed to St. Mungo's Hospital.
Neville was familiar with St. Mungo's Hospital, and found his parents' room without Calvin's guidance.
When he opened the curtains around his parents' bed, Mrs. Longbottom was already inside.
For Neville, the Longbottoms' complexion was indeed much better: their faces were much less wrinkled, and their hair was no longer dry, but had regained some shine.
What surprised Neville even more was that he could feel more emotions in his parents' eyes, and he could see doubt, tenderness, and joy in the eyes of the round-faced woman.
Yes, after meeting her son, Alice expressed even more emotions. She looked at her son, a questioning "ho-ho" sound, but she knew it was her son without a doubt, and reached out to hug Neville.
Neville responded without hesitation, hugging his mom in the hospital bed.
"Alice is now as intelligent as a three-year-old, and your son's condition is more serious, but having Neville visit them more will speed up their recovery."
Calvin whispered to Mrs. Longbottom, who was secretly wiping away tears.
"Thank you, Calvin," the strong old lady quickly recovered, "you're always so considerate. β
"Mrs. Longbottom, I have heard that Mr. and Mrs. Longbottom were excellent Aurors before they were admitted to the hospital, and many times from Volt... Do you know how many times the mysterious man escaped? Calvin asked.
Mrs. Longbottom, though she did not know why Calvin was asking this question, replied quickly and proudly, "Three times, three times I have gone, and I remember them all!" It's a pity that it ended up in the hands of a few scum. β
Calvin nodded, he felt that Neville was most likely the Child of Prophecy as well.
After a few moments, Calvin pulled Neville apart and treated the Longbottoms.
Around lunchtime, the treatment was over. After seeing off his grandmother, Neville prepares to return to the castle with Professor Capet.
But Calvin didn't seem in a hurry to go back, and he asked the little fat man meaningfully: "Neville, if one day, you need to save the world, would you be willing?" β
Neville didn't answer, just looked down at his feet, and after a long time, he said, "Professor Capet, isn't it too far away to save the world?" β
"I think it's supposed to be Harry, Hermione, and Ron saving the world, or even ...... Draco was more qualified than I was, and he received the Special Contribution Award. β

"With your help, I managed to improve my academic performance, but there are still many professors who don't like me, such as Professor Snape and Professor Malfoy..."
"Longbottom, I only asked you if you had the courage, not if you had the qualifications." Calvin's voice was soft and firm.
