Chapter 76: Fishing Plan (2)

"You're going to buy a polyjuice decoction from me? Do you know that Class A potions are banned? Eddie Camitchell stared suspiciously at the three wizards in front of him who were a year younger than him.

"I'm sorry, we really need this potion, I heard you have all kinds of potions here," Ron said stiffly.

Eddie's gaze swept cautiously over the three of them, and in the end, greed prevailed over reason.

"I wasn't going to do this business," Eddie muttered, "but who introduced you to the Wesley twins?" ”

"So, you're willing to sell us the polyjuice potion?" Hermione said excitedly.

"No, no, no, it's illegal to sell compound potions, and while I won't be caught in Azkaban, it's still possible to be expelled." Eddie stumbled, "So what I'm selling you is the waste liquid from the Polyjuice Decoction." ”

Harry, Hermione, and Ron were all a little puzzled, "Waste? ”

Eddie nodded, "Waste, of course." There was still one program left to make, but the Potions Master suddenly stopped the waste liquid.

When you get it, don't add the skin of the African tree snake to it, and don't boil it over medium heat for three hours. Otherwise, it turns into a perfect pot of polyjuice decoction. ”

Eddie warns them very seriously.

Hermione nodded hurriedly, "Well, there's no waste liquid either. ”

Eddie raised an eyebrow, "Okay, since you insist on buying it, then next Wednesday at six o'clock in the evening, in the secret passage behind the knight's statue on the fourth floor, I'll give you the potion you wanted." Ten Galleons in total. ”

"Ten Galleons!" Ron exclaimed, he hadn't used a single gold Galleon in its entirety until now, "Is your potion made of gold, or is the cauldron made of gold?" ”

"Hey, young man, if you don't want to buy it, just say it," Eddie said impatiently, "Look at the current Category A forbidden potions, you are too expensive and I am too expensive!" ”

"Okay, I'll buy it." Harry took five gold Galleons out of his pocket and slapped them in Eddie's hand, "The rest will be for you tomorrow." ”

-----------------

On Wednesday evening, the three Harry took the stony liquid from Eddie and hid it in the abandoned women's bathroom on the second floor.

"This is the polyjuice decoction?" Ron leaned closer to the cauldron and sniffed hard, a fishy smell coming to his nose.

"Not yet, Ron," Hermione stirred with a spoon, "and the last ingredient is missingβ€”the skin of the African Tree Serpent." ”

She hesitated, then continued, "But this material is rare, at least not in the school's public materials room. Possible...... In Professor Snape's private collection. ”

"Snape!" Ron muttered, "He's definitely not going to give it to us." ”

"It's okay, I'll go to Snape's office and steal one." Harry rose from the ground.

Hermione shook her head slowly, "Harry, this is too dangerous. ”

"What are you afraid of, I have an invisibility cloak, and I won't be discovered." Harry's tone was unusually firm.

"No, Harry, let me steal it." Hermione stood up from the ground, "We need to make a noise, right next to tomorrow in Potions class." ”

"I'd better do it," Hermione continued in a businesslike tone, "and if you two get into trouble again, you're going to be fired, and I have no criminal record." So, all you have to do is make the class so chaotic that Snape has five minutes to keep himself busy. ”

In Potions class the next day, Harry took advantage of Snape's lack of attention and threw a string of Fred's laborious fireworks into Goyle's cauldron.

The potion splashed everywhere, and the crackling head and face were poured on the class. Everyone screamed under the attack of the splashing swollen potion.

Snape desperately tried to silence everyone and figure out what was going on. In the midst of the chaos, Harry saw Hermione creep out of the classroom. "Quiet! Quiet!" Snape roared, "The students who were splashed with the potion came to me to get the swelling agent. Wait until I figure out who did it..."

It wasn't long before Harry saw Hermione back in the basement classroom, her clothes bulging in front of her. When everyone had drunk the antidote and all the swelling had subsided, Snape walked briskly over to Goyle's crucible and scooped out the black fireworks twisted into twisted ashes with a spoon, and the classroom suddenly fell silent.

"As soon as I find out who threw it," Snape whispered, "I'm going to fire that man." ”

It didn't take long, however, for Snape to discover that his private collection had gone wrong. He was the first to suspect Harry.

During the Potions class again, Snape crept up to Harry and watched him grind the scarab into powder.

"You've recently received a lot of honors, special contribution awards, and it seems to have made your already careless head even more inflated, Potter." Snape whispered.

"Therefore, I give you a kind warning, Potter," Snape said in a softer and more sinister voice, "despite your fameβ€”if I find you breaking into my office againβ€”"

Harry was too weak to look Snape in the eye and whispered, "I haven't been near your office. ”

"Don't lie to me," Snape said in a low voice, his unfathomable black eyes glaring at Harry, "African tree snakeskin. I know you stole it. ”

"I didn't steal." Harry argued weakly.

"I'll figure it out, Potter, I have a lot of options." Snape said softly.

After class, Harry quickly approached Hermione and asked him how the polyjuice decoction was doing. Hermione said it would be ready soon, and Harry had to urge her to go faster, Snape might find out.

Snape, on the other hand, went to Calvin after class.

"Rare guest, Severus." Calvin opened the door and saw that it was Snape, and said in a teasing tone, "Do you want me to have another drink with you?" ”

"I said, you can't tell anyone about my drunkenness!" Snape looked at Calvin viciously.

Calvin shrugged and poured Snape a glass. But Snape pushed it aside without even drinking, "I came to you for something else, Calvin. I've heard you have artifact animals that you can use to find clues, can you... Lend it to me. ”

Calvin sat across from Snape with Amor in his arms, supposibly touching the blue cat's head, "What, your office was burglarized?" ”

"Yes," Snape said stiffly, "the African tree snake skin." It was when I was in Potions class on Thursday afternoon. ”

"Looks like someone is making dangerous potions," Calvin said, holding out a yellowed piece of parchment, "but some snakeskins don't need my treasure, and you won't like them." ”

"I recommend this."

Calvin unfolded the parchment, revealing a map of all of Hogwarts. Calvin wrote the time and date in the upper right corner of the map, and soon the names on the map began to flow rapidly, and finally stopped again.

Snape looked at the location of his office, where a footprint appeared, next to her name, Hermione Granger.
