Chapter 77: Fishing Plan (3)
"Ha, Miss Granger, a cocky genius girl who thinks she's smart, but she's all ...... Smart. Snape looked at the name and said coldly.
Calvin closed the map of the living spots, "Did you think of another gifted Muggle girl?" β
"How can Granger compare to her?"
"There are still some places that are very similar." Calvin blinked, "If you don't mind, let me take care of this, Severus." β
"I mind, Capet," Snape spat out a few words coldly, "I wonder if they found out some of your secrets, you and Lucius?" That's why compound decoction is used. β
"Do you want to get involved, too?" Calvin looked at Snape thoughtfully.
"Dumbledore made me do it." Snape explained with a blank face.
Calvin smiled, "Okay, old bee, then you can just wait here for a while." β
Calvin tore off a piece of parchment and wrote a few sentences, then patted Amor on the ass and told him to bring the note to Harry.
Amor found the three Harry in the abandoned bathroom on the second floor, and after throwing the note on the floor, it quickly disappeared.
Harry picked up the note and glanced at it, a little apprehensive, "Professor Capet, let's get the three of us to find him now." β
"Will he find out," Ron looked at Hermione with some humility, "or just me and Harry." β
Hermione glanced at the note, a little scared, but pretended not to care, "It's Professor Capet looking for us, not Professor Snape, what are you afraid of?" β
The three of them nervously walked into Professor Capet's office, and as soon as they opened the door, they saw Professor Snape and Professor Capet sitting on the couch together, looking at them with two different eyes, one as cold as iron and the other as warm as fire.
Professor Snape ...... Ron couldn't suppress his fear.
"Don't be afraid... Ron," Calvin took a light sip of his coffee, "he's my guest just like you. β
That being said, the three Harry were even more scared.
Snape looked into Harry's emerald green eyes and said slowly, "I already have enough evidence that you stole my private collection... Mr. Potter, I'm afraid you're going to be fired..."
"Snape, I think you'd just listen," Calvin commanded Amor to serve Snape a cup of jasmine tea, "this is my office." β
Snape glanced at Calvin with a grim look and silently pushed the teacup aside.
"Hermione, let's not talk about stealing the Professor's belongings," Calvin looked up at the most uncomfortable little witch, "what do you want Polyjuice Potion for?" This is a Class A forbidden potion. β
"Professor, Iβ" Hermione's voice trembled to defend herself, she didn't expect her actions to be seen by the Professor.
"Professor Capet!" Harry stood in front of Hermione, blocking Calvin's burning gaze, "We think there's a conspiracy in the castle, so we want to find out who really is." β
"Huh," Snape said dismissively, "recklessly, arrogantly, self-righteous. Exactly like his father. β
Calvin glanced at Snape and warned him not to speak again.
"So, who is creating the conspiracy and against whom is this conspiracy. Where did you hear that, Harry? Calvin tried to be as gentle as he could, he was reluctant to use memory magic on Harry.
Harry pursed his lips and looked back at Hermione. Hermione shook her head at him slightly, motioning for Harry not to speak.
But Ron didn't see that, and he trusted Professor Capet more than Harry and Hermione.
"It's Dobby, a house-elf, who told Harry that someone in the castle was plotting it." Ron hesitated for a moment and continued, "Harry suspects it's you and Malfoy Sr., so he wants to use the Polyjuice Potion......"
"Ron!" Hermione shouted, she didn't expect Ron to tell Professor Capet most of the information directly.
Calvin sighed and put his hand on his face, "I reminded Lucius to take care of his house-elves..."
"Professor Capet, you and Malfoy Sr., really... Anything is planned? Hermione hesitated, not uttering the word conspiracy.
Calvin looked at the girl meaningfully, "Yes, I did plan something with Professor Malfoy. β
He then pulled a gorgeous feather out of his sleeve and quickly set it on fire. The smoke filled the air in front of the three Harry, and they soon passed out.
And Snape, who was watching Calvin's every move, used the bubble head charm to block out the smoke the moment he ignited the feather. Only when the smoke cleared did Snape nervously check on Harry's condition.
"You! Kill! Harry! After noticing that Harry was not breathing, Snape turned his head and stared at Calvin viciously, gritting his teeth, waiting for Calvin to give him a reasonable explanation.
Calvin opened the window to let the smoke out, and said without panic, "Calm down, Severus." He is Lily's son. I won't hurt him. It is a strong sleeping pill that can effectively inhibit thinking activities and prevent unwanted leaks. β
Snape breathed a sigh of relief. It took him a moment to regain his arrogant, cold, rejecting look.
"What does it mean to prevent unwanted leaks? Why not use regular sleeping pills... I don't think you won't be without. β
Calvin took out a magic painting and put the three people inside, "A lot of times, the leak of news is inadvertent. In particular, these three are Gryffindors, who are known for their recklessness and impulsiveness.
Lucius is important to me and I have to keep him safe. Not to mention Harry..."
Calvin suddenly shut his mouth, remembering that Snape didn't know Harry was Voldemort's Horcrux.
"What's wrong with Harry?" Snape asked.
"What's more, Harry is a lot like his father, reckless, arrogant, and self-righteous." Calvin said.
Snape kept his mouth shut, but he still stared at Calvin with suspicion.
Calvin put away the magic painting and looked at Snape, "It's a troublesome situation, I have to talk to Dumbledore, and it's time to tell you about my plans with Lucius." β
The two arrive at the headmaster's office, where Calvin briefly explains his and Lucius' plan to use a crystal ball as bait to take action against the remnants of Voldemort.
After hearing this, Dumbledore crossed his hands in front of his chest and nodded slightly, "So, because of that house-elf named Dobby, Harry has already guessed what you and Lucius are planning, right?" It also means..."
Dumbledore didn't say anything more, just exchanged glances with Calvin.
"There's a risk of leaks, so right now, there's only two options."
Calvin looked at Snape on the side, not knowing if he should say his own solution to his face.
Snape looked at the two of them suspiciously, suspecting that they had something very important not telling him.
"Potter, is there any connection to the Dark Lord?" Snape's voice was cold.
Neither Calvin nor Dumbledore spoke, just looked at each other, and then looked at Snape in silence.
Snape looked at the two of them and understood everything, and the expression on his face quickly changed from cold to shock, despair and pain!
"You lied to me! Dumbledore," Snape said, "Harry Potter, that kid... He is one of them, one of the Horcruxes. β
Dumbledore and Calvin remained silent.
"Ahem," Calvin coughed twice, "That's right, Silver..."
"Shut up!" Snape roared under his breath, standing up and staring at Dumbledore across the table, "I want you to say it!" β
"When did you find out?"
"So, I guessed right!" Snape could barely suppress the anger in his heart.
"I'm a spy for you, I'm making up lies for you, I'm risking death for you. It's all because you assured me that Lily's son was safe. And now you're telling me that his end was predestined from the start? It's like a pig waiting to be slaughtered..."
"How touching, Severus," said Dumbledore, "have you really come to like that boy?" β
"Love him!" Snape shouted, waving his wand, "Divine Guard!" β
A silver deer jumped out of the tip of his wand. She landed on the office floor, jumped across the room, and flew out of the window to Calvin's low exclamation. Dumbledore watched her fly away, and as the silver glow faded, he turned to look at Snape, Severus' eyes filled with tears.
"It's been so long, or is it like this?"
"It's always been like this."
There was a brief silence in the office, and the stunned Calvin looked at the calm Dumbledore and the slightly gasping Snape, and said with some embarrassment, "I don't think I need to avoid it..."
"Calvin, did you already knowβ" Snape muttered, his voice never weaker.
At this time, Calvin didn't need to continue to hide it, he stubbornly said, "Yes. I noticed early on that there was an abrupt fragment of his soul stuck to the scar on his forehead. β
Snape slumped limply in his chair, gasping heavily, and muttered, "You lied to me, Dumbledore. β
Dumbledore reopened his eyes, as calm as ever, staring at Snape through the half-moon lenses.
"I must admit that I hid the truth from you, Severus. Harry Potter may really need to die last time, but that's the worst-case scenario. So I had to nurture him and temper him as quickly as I could. β
"Die last time? Dumbledore, what do you mean by that? Snape was like a drowning man, finding a piece of wood.
"As Calvin said, on Harry's head, there is an abrupt fragment of soul, and the owner of this soul is Voldemort. Harry Potter became his Horcrux, and Harry gained abilities that didn't belong to him..."
"Old snake talk!" Snape said eagerly.
Dumbledore nodded, then continued, "Moreover, Voldemort can invade Harry's brain through soul shards, which is why Calvin is so nervous, and Harry knows about his cooperation with Lucius. β
"But the main thing is that as long as Harry still has that piece with him, Voldemort will never really die."
Snape looked at Dumbledore pleadingly, hoping that he would go on to tell him how to save Harry.
Dumbledore understood what Snape meant, "I did think of a solution. But it's too ethereal, it's too incredible. Speaking out will only add to your annoyance, so I can't reveal it to you yet. β
Calvin looked at Dumbledore with a little surprise, he knew how difficult it was to destroy a Horcrux, but Dumbledore actually had a way to remove the soul fragment without harming the main body.
Looking at Snape's black eyes, which looked like a bottomless abyss, Dumbledore changed the subject.
"Calvin, what are the two ways you just mentioned?"
Calvin stole at Snape, "Just give them an Oblivion Charm and make them forget about it." Or ......"
"Tell Harry the truth, and then teach Harry Occlumency."
Dumbledore touched his index finger, "Honestly, we shouldn't use the Oblivion Charm on young wizards, it will have an impact on their future learning. β
He looked up at Calvin, but before Calvin could speak, Snape on the side said firmly, "Let me come." β
Dumbledore looked at Snape in surprise.
"Let me teach Potter, Occlumency."
There was another silence -
ββ¦β¦ Don't hurt him. β
"At least I won't treat Harry like a butcher does to his pig."
The conversation in the office ended in a suffocating atmosphere.
Snape walked out of the headmaster's office with Calvin, who planned to go to Lucius and deal with Dobby.
But he hadn't gone far before Snape stopped. Calvin looked back at him in bewilderment. Perhaps Calvin was mistaken, and there was a little tear in Snape's deep eyes.
"Calvin," Snape's tone wasn't as cold as usual, "you're very interested in souls, is there any way you can remove the pieces from Harry's head?" β
"It's like a stain on the wall, if you find the right way, you canβ" Snape looked at Calvin with bated breath, "Can you do it?" β
"Severus, you must know that the soul is the most mysterious thing in a wizard. It is the origin of magic, the origin of wizards. Calvin whispered, "Anything that involves the soul should be treated with extreme caution. β
"So, even if I could take Voldemort's soul fragments out of other Horcruxes, I wouldn't dare to use this method on Harry rashly - who knows what effect it would have on Harry?"
"No, I don't believe it," Snape shook his body and leaned against the wall beside him, "He's Lily's child, and you won't sit idly by." β
"Unfortunately, I don't have a good idea at the moment." Calvin didn't know how many times he had pitied his former prefect, "Maybe capture Voldemort, imprison him, and wait for Harry to die naturally." It's the most harmless thing I can think of. Or rather, the least needed solution for Harry's cooperation. β
