Chapter 20: Encounter
Vincent led Mir to an eerie corner, and Mir sniffed at the trash in the corner, as if he had smelled the fishy stench of Lafayette One.
"Vincent, where do you want to take me?" Mir sighed deeply and said, "It stinks here, and there is no customs hall you said at all. ”
"I'm very sorry, Mr. Edward, but I can't seem to find any excuse to convince you that the Customs House was here last year." In the face of Mill's accusations, Vincent felt very innocent.
Mir looked around, and he saw that there was almost nothing but garbage and ugly walls.
"It must be the fog that has lost your eyes so much that you can't find your way to the Custom House."
"Maybe." Vincent leaned over to Mill and said, "Mr. Edward, you make me think. ”
Mir pointed ahead and said, "Let's go over there, I hate the smell here." ”
About ten minutes passed, and in those ten minutes, Vincent wandered through his mind the places he had visited his friends last year, eaten hayces, and played.
"Mr. Edward, I thought about it, the Customs Hall has changed places."
"On the next street," said Vincent, "on the next street, I remembered that they had moved underground, and there was a beautiful girl who said they were going to build an underground palace. ”
"Hopefully, you've found the right place this time."
Mill followed Vincent all the way, a thin thick fog, silently falling on the whole city, Mir could not see, the endless stream of pedestrians, he could only see the people on the street walking in a hurry.
The white mist struck Mir's face softly, reminding him of Alina, and caressing his face with those gentle hands.
He gradually lowered his head and walked forward, he didn't want Alina to know about going to the Customs House, if she knew, not only would Alina be angry and complain to Marie, but it was more likely that this matter would spread throughout the French district of New Orleans.
"I've found it, Mr. Edward, the gate is here." Vincent said excitedly.
Vincent's words seemed to be heard by everyone on the street, and they all looked at Mill and Vincent.
Mir immediately found a corner to hide, which happened to be obscured by the white mist.
Because most of the people in France know Mir, after all, this is not an investigation in the open, he can only investigate it in secret.
Vincent suddenly couldn't find Mir, and he called Mir's name and said, "Where are you, Mr. Edward?" ”
"Vincent, shut up! Don't call my name! Mir scolded, "Damn! Stupid guys. ”
Vincent opened the door of the House of Custom and said, "The door is here, sir." ”
Mir didn't expect Vincent to be smart, however, a sir, seemed to attract more people to the door of the Customs Pavilion in front of him.
Mir stared at Vincent helplessly and said, "Don't call me sir. ”
Mill quickly followed Vincent into the Custom Hall, the lights inside were so dim that he couldn't see the exact appearance of the underground palace, and he could vaguely see several French men dancing with the girls in the ballroom area, but their hands were touching all parts of the girls' bodies unscrupulously.
He lowered his head and continued to follow Vincent, and they came to a slender hallway, and on one side of the corridor wall, many colored oil lamps lit up the small rooms on either side of the corridor.
At the front of the hallway, two women walked slowly, and Vincent saw them and said, "Look! Their butts are so big, they don't seem to be the same as the women I've seen before, especially the figures. ”
"Really?" Mill asked.
"yes, it looks like it's new." Vincent said incredulously: "I've never seen such seductive figures, I just don't know how good they are." ”
"Enough! Vincent. ”
Mill didn't want to hear Vincent's description too much, and he carefully observed the bewitching figure of the two women Vincent had spoken, just like the ghost in the harbor of New Orleans, the same figure, but he had never seen the ghost before.
Mill thinks that the ghost must have died from the Custom House, or that there was a murder here, otherwise they would have opened the door in a different place.
He thought that there seemed to be some kind of secret hidden in this customs hall, and the dim lighting in the room seemed to reveal depression, darkness and death.
Mir saw a black woman emerge from the third room, and then stood across from Vincent and Mir, looking at Vincent with a flattering gaze, trying to curry favor with Vincent.
The woman pouted her big ass and tried to provoke Vincent, saying, "Welcome, my man is still in the room, so I can't go with you, you can go find other girls." ”
Mir was shocked to smell the perfume on the woman's body, which was almost identical to the smell of Mir's room in Ian's.
He looked at the woman and said, "Wow! You're so beautiful, and the smell of you appeals to me so much. ”
"Really? I also really like the smell, it fascinates and even excites me. The woman was complimented by Mir, she said happily.
"I want to know the perfume, where did you buy it from?" Mill asked.
"Hmm... I'm very sorry, handsome man, but I can't tell you, it's a secret from my friends. She said as she gently placed her black hair behind her sturdy shoulders with her hand.
"Well, if I have the chance, I'll ask you to go and sit somewhere." Mir said goodbye to the woman.
The woman kissed Vincenne on the cheek and hurried out of the hallway, but the smell of perfume kept lingering around Vincenne and Mir.
Mill asked in a low voice, "Vincent, do you smell it?" This is the fragrance. ”
"I'm sorry, Mr. Edward, but I still haven't smelled it." Vincent wiped his cheek with his hand and said, "I smell her lipstick." ”
The smell was so strong that Mir had to feel weird, and he wondered, could it be that the people who smelled the perfume were already dead?
Mir looked back at the woman's vanishing back, and he sensed that the woman might be the ghost's next target, and he immediately rushed forward.
He tried to stop the woman, but when she went, she quietly disappeared into the hallway.
Mir called out to Vincent and told him to look for the woman, and when Mir came to the ballroom area, the woman appeared around the corner of the corridor before she knew it.
Vincent saw the woman, and he shouted at Mir, "She's here." ”
At this moment, from the corner of the corridor came a strange-looking man, who had never seen such a strange person in the French district.
