Chapter 36: Caught in a Mystery

Mir motioned for Martin to keep his mouth shut and let him fill up his ammo as he prepared to kick the door into the storage room.

With a snap, Martin kicked hard, and the door of the storage room couldn't withstand Martin's strong force, and the whole door flew out, hitting the wall, and then with a bang, the wooden door fell on the floor with a muffled sound.

Martin began to rush in, and Mill quickly followed, holding on to the soon-to-be-fallen door with one hand and the oil lamp with the other, illuminating as much of the room as he could.

They saw the windows squeak back and forth, followed by the downstairs door.

"Turn it off! Martin! Mir felt the wind flow violently at the door of the storage room.

Martin ran over and closed the window tightly, and he asked in surprise, "Sir, who will open the window?" ”

"I don't know, it's very likely that this window was open when I came." Mir said, "Come on, Martin, take a look downstairs, and then get out of here and go to the next location, and tomorrow I'll send Wald Ru and their men to keep watch here." ”

Martin nodded, and followed Mill downstairs, where they wandered around the kitchen and bathroom, and left the house without noticing.

Martin followed Mill back the way he came, but he felt something behind him, and he looked back every few steps.

In the middle of the rough path, Martin looked back again, and he saw a bright light in the distance, which then went out again.

"Sir! Just now I saw the light in the room turn on and go out again. Martin pointed to Mir.

Mill followed Martin's direction, and he saw that the room was Carat's, but there was a black claw on the glass, and it suddenly disappeared.

Mir believed that the guy in the room had escaped, but he didn't know where she would flee, and he couldn't care about it now, because the two bodies of Lafayette One were still waiting to be examined.

Mill and Martin continued their horses to Lafayette One, which was not very far from Lafayette One.

After a while, when they were there, they tied their horses to a nearby fence, and Mill walked to the deepest part of Lafayette with an oil lamp, followed closely by Martin with his tools.

The terrain was already very familiar to Mir, and he found the place described by Lisa, next to the burial of Ian, who he believed had died unjustly.

Mir told Martin that it was best to cover his mouth and nose with a handkerchief, fearing that the smell of the corpse would stick to his nostrils, and Martin hesitated for a moment before doing so.

Martin handed Mir a digging tool, and they began digging through the soil on top of Lisa and Carat, respectively.

After a few minutes, the corpse gradually came to the surface, and in order not to destroy the corpse, they continued to dig around the corpse.

When the bodies were fully revealed, Mill crouched down next to them and began to carefully observe them for scars.

Mir sees that Lisa and Kra's bodies have physical features that are almost identical to Ian's, and Mir is convinced that the killer is the same ghost.

After Lisa and Carat died, who buried their bodies, Mir thought that it might have been done by the owner of the hotel, or that Lisa in the hotel was fake, or maybe even twins, and he really couldn't think of a second person.

Mir deduced from the innkeeper's testimony that I had spent a lot of money on her, and that twins were very likely.

Mill made an assumption on the spot that if the dream was true, the boss wouldn't have had time to leave the hotel to bury Lisa's body, which was almost completely conflicting in time, and even a ghost couldn't do that.

He now concluded that the owner of the hotel was very suspicious, and he seemed to think that the real Lisa must have posed some kind of threat to the boss, or that there was some kind of emotional entanglement with the fake Lisa, or that she was not Lisa.

Mill now needs to clear his mind and look for favorable evidence in order for Chris to capture them.

"What exactly is the innkeeper hiding? So what is his relationship with the ghost? Mir muttered.

Seeing Mir's expression full of doubt, Martin ran to Mir's side in fear and asked, "Sir, have you made any new discoveries?" ”

"I didn't find anything, I just couldn't figure out who brought them here for burial." Mill said.

This was the first time Martin had seen the horrible corpses, and he pretended to be brave and looked at them as Mill learned.

"Hmm... Sir, I think there's going to be a third person, their friend, or someone else in the hotel. Martin said with his imagination.

Mill nodded and said, "Although these people are indeed very suspicious, we can't speculate without any basis, the clues of this murder case are already very confusing, and more and more people will be involved." ”

"Bury it, Martin."

After they buried the body, they walked out of Lafayette One at an extremely slow pace.

"Sir, where are we going next? Go back to the hotel? Martin asked.

"Wait." "I've always been thinking about the question that that person could be an accomplice of the ghost and interfering with our clues," Mill said. ”

Martin turned his head, glanced at the burial location, and said, "Sir, this matter has become too complicated now, and I can only say that it is best to start with the original plan. ”

According to Martin, he will be busy in vain, but despite this, important clues related to the case cannot be discarded, and there may be an unexpected turning point in the case.

"Okay, let's go ahead with the original plan."

Mir thought for a moment and said, "Martin, I have a task here, can you do it?" ”

"Of course." Martin pointed ahead and said, "As long as you don't come to stand guard in a place like this." ”

"You're going to follow the innkeeper tonight." "However, you need to keep an eye out for the women around him," Mir said. ”

"Women?" Martin asked.

"Yes, a man named Lisa." Mill said.

Martin said incredulously, "What? Lisa? Isn't she dead? ”

"I'm not sure yet." Mir looked into the depths of Lafayette and said, "The woman next to Carat may or may not be Lisa, can you understand?" ”

Martin's mind was a little confused now, almost confused, and he couldn't tell who was who now.

"OMG!" Martin exclaimed, "Sir, who is Lisa?" You've got me in the dark! ”

"I'll put it another way." Mir sighed deeply and said, "The name of the woman who died next to Kra is not necessarily the real Lisa, the real Lisa should still be alive, she just gave Lisa's name to that woman." ”

The more Martin listened to it now, the more confused he became, and he was completely confused.

"Sir, you mean to say that the woman is not the real Lisa, and her name is not Lisa, and the real Lisa is in the hotel, or the real Lisa is still alive, but she just hasn't shown up."

Martin finally cleared his mind and said, "Am I right? Sir? ”

"You're amazing!" Mill nodded happily and said, "You're right, Martin. ”
