Chapter Eighty-Three: Their Arrival

Mir stared out the window until dawn, exhausted, but the door never opened.

Mill heard the sound of shredded footsteps outside the door, and the three of them chatting and laughing happily.

Mir continued to go back to sleep, he was now exhausted, sleepiness set in, and he snored as he lay on the floor.

Chris stood at the door of Mir's house with Ruili and Matilda, and then knocked politely, forgetting that the windows of the house could be directly entered.

Chris entered the house through the window, sniffed the undemirated smell of wine, and then opened the door with a gentle step.

When Ruili and Matilda enter the door, they both see Mir sleeping on the floor at the same time, and Matilda sees the mess around Mir and accidentally exclaims.

Matilda said, "Oh my God! Aren't Martin and Vincent taking care of Mr. Edward? Why does he still sleep on the floor? ”

Matilda is very worried about Mir, who is now sick and could end his life at any time if he falls ill again while sleeping on the floor.

Ruili, in particular, became very annoyed when she heard Matilda's words, and she hurried upstairs to inquire about the two who had fallen asleep.

"My dear sister, you simply clean up this place, and I'll carry Mir to the couch." Chris commanded.

Matilda nodded, but as she cleaned up, she heard Ruili upstairs angry at Martin and Vincent, even yelling loudly, the piercing power of her voice knocking off a few pieces of black dust off the beams.

Matilda looked at her brother sitting on the sofa in surprise, and she asked, "Brother, why is Miss Ruili so angry?" ”

"There is no doubt that Mir is their commander, didn't Ruili say it last night, she is now the captain, she is fulfilling the duties of the captain." Chris leaned his back against Mir's body and said, "However, they did go a little too far, and even let their chief sleep on the floor, which would make anyone angry." ”

Matilda simply didn't care about Miss Ruili's roar, let her play, and with her voice, she could clean up a little faster.

"By the way, brother, we need to hire a maid for Mr. Edward." Matilda suddenly thought.

Chris nodded and said, "Yes, yes, I don't want to see my sister working day and night." ”

Chris looked at Matilda's back, as she cleaned up the glasses and bottles from the two chairs, as well as a few remnants.

Her sister is a noble lady of France, and one day in the future she will be here diligently cleaning up the housework, and it is still a man's room.

He really wanted to know what Matilda was thinking every day, and as an older brother, he was really embarrassed to ask, so he could only communicate with her through Ruili.

He tried his best to get close to and curry favor with Ruili for Matilda's sake, and he didn't want to see Matilda secretly wiping her tears in a corner.

A woman's mind can only be understood by a woman, so that he can stay out of the way and better investigate the clues of the murder.

In a few moments, Vincent and Martin walked down the stairs with their heads bowed, listless, and Miss Ruili stood on the second floor, pinching her waist and pouting, like a very spicy woman.

Vincent and Martin greeted Chris and Matilda one after another, and they left Mill's house for their new house.

"Oh, dear Miss Rylly, Miss Massena has never lost her temper like you." Chris said as he looked at Ruili.

Chris went on to say, "She's only lost her temper once in the police station over the years. ”

Ruili's hand gradually lowered, and with a long sigh, she released all the anger in her heart and said, "Okay, I'll try to do as you tell me." ”

Ruili had dressed up as Miss Alina this morning, and the clothes and mannerisms had been repeated almost several times by Chris and Matilda.

In order to treat Mir's condition, Chris disregards the dignity of a man, in order to let Miss Ruili better integrate into Alina's situation.

The moment Chris puts on the dress, it also elicits the laughter of Ruili and Matilda, who both think that Chris always has a straight face at work on weekdays, and they didn't expect him to make a surprise to them.

"Inspector Louie, you need to find someone to fix the windows, I'm afraid it's going to rain today." Ruili went downstairs and said, "Miss Matilda and I will clean up the house first, and when you come back, we will bring some food by the way." ”

Chris immediately stood up and walked out of the house, leaving Ruili and Matilda whispering in the house.

"Miss Matilda, does this really work?" Miss Ruili said, looking in the mirror on the fireplace.

Matilda stopped what she was doing and said, "I don't know, my brother said, you and Alina are the same in appearance and figure, but the temper is very different. ”

"Damn Chris, he's saying bad things behind my back." Ruili seemed a little upset.

"That's not the case, Miss Ruili." Matilda began to say to her brother, "He praised you for being beautiful, very beautiful. ”

"Oh?" Ruili didn't believe that Chris would praise people, she said, "Really? ”

Ever since Chris fell into a state of evil, Ruili couldn't get used to the way Chris looked at her, and the gaze of appreciating beauty had become sharper than before.

At first, she thought that Chris would plot against her one day, but through these two days of getting along, she found that she was thinking too much.

For the task given to her by the chief, and in order to better monitor everything about Chris, she needs to start by approaching Matilda.

For the sake of physical purity, she would never let Chris do anything to her, otherwise the bullets in her flintlock pistol would never spare him.

"Of course." Matilda said, "It was all a few days ago. ”

"I was fascinated by Mr. Edward's appearance that day, and when I asked for a brother to help me, he told me about you."

Ruili turned her head and asked, "What did he tell you?" ”

Matilda replied, "Because Alina is Mr. Edward's woman, he can't have any illusions about his friend's woman, so he chooses you." ”

"Huh." Ruili laughed twice in surprise, and she said, "Am I her replacement?" ”

"Would you believe such an absurd reason? Miss Matilda. Ruili continued.

"My brother really likes you." Matilda said.

"Although I am separated from the aristocracy, I know very well the tricks between the aristocracy, and I am just a substitute." Ruili turned her head to look at herself in the mirror and said, "You can tell your brother, Miss Matilda, to stop being delusional, I am not a substitute for anyone, and if it weren't for the treatment of the chief, I would definitely not be dressed as Alina today." ”
