Chapter 159: The Secret Passage Enters

The Lich King Gurgar knew his days were numbered. Imprisoned in the Frozen Throne, he suspects that Kil'Gardan will send his men to destroy him, and the damage caused by Illidan's spell destroys the Frozen Throne, and the Lich King's power is lost day by day. Desperate to protect himself, Gugar summoned his most powerful men, the Death Knight Arthas, to his side.

Arthas's power was lost as the Lich King weakened, and he was caught in a civil war in Lordaeron. Banshee Sylvanas, the Windrunner leads half of the undead in a coup d'état that attempts to overthrow Arthas's rule. As the battle spread throughout the Plaguelands, Arthas was summoned by the Lich King, and leadership was handed over to his lieutenant, Kel'thugad.

Eventually, Sylvanas and her undead rebels, known as the Forsaken, claimed the ruins of Lordaeron's capital for themselves. The Forsaken have established their base under the wreckage of the capital, and they vow to defeat the Scourge and drive Kel'thugad and his minions out of the continent.

Alsace, weakened, decided to rescue his master. When he arrived in Northrend, he found that the Blood Elves of Illidan and the Naga had already arrived there before him. As a result, Arthas and his spider-monsters had to compete with Illidan's forces for time, and he had to be the first to reach the Ice Crown Glacier and protect the Frozen Throne.

Even in such a weak situation, Arthas eventually outmaneuvered over Illidan and reached the Frozen Throne first. Arthas used his magic sword, Frostmourn, to shatter the ice prison where the Lich King was imprisoned, and obtained the helmet and breastplate of the Ghal Possession. Arthas put a helmet of infinite power on his head and became the new Lich King. As Gugar had always planned. He merged with the soul of Arthas to become a powerful creature. Illidan and his army were forced to flee back to the Outlands in disgrace. Alsace became one of the most powerful creatures in the world.

Now Arthas occupies Northrend as the new immortal Lich King. It is said that he is rebuilding the Ice Crown Castle there, while his trusted lieutenant, Kel'thugad, leads the Scourge forces in the Plaguelands. Sylvanas and her rebellious undead forces only control the Tirisfal Glades, a fraction of the war-torn kingdom of Lordaeron.

Despite their victory in the war, the races of Azeroth find that their world has long been destroyed by the war. The Undead Scourge and the Burning Legion ruined Lordaeron's civilization, and Kalimdor suffered almost the same fate. There are traumatized forests that need to be healed, where there is boundless hatred that needs to be forgotten, and where people need new homes to settle in. The war hit every race hard, but they worked together selflessly. I want to create a new beginning. This qiē all began with a hard-won truce between the Union and the Horde.

Salar led the orcs to the continent of Kalimdor, where they built a new home with the help of their fellow minotaurs. Named the new nation Durotan after Salar's assassinated father, the orcs settled down and tried to rebuild their once-glorious civilization. Now that the demonic curse has ended, the Horde has transformed from a belligerent fanatical force into a loose alliance with survival and prosperity as their top priority. With the help of noble minotaurs and cunning Trolls of the Darkspear Tribe, Salar and his orcs look forward to a new era of peace.

Gianna, the remnants of the Confederate forces under Prodmoore, settled in South Carimdor. They founded the humble port city of Theramore near the dust swamps on the east coast. The human and dwarven alliances have joined forces to survive in this land full of dangers, and although the defenses of Durotan and Theramore have temporarily ceased war with each other, the calm of this fragile colony does not mean ultimate peace.

Peace between humans and orcs is shattered by a vast alliance fleet that arrives in Kalimdor. Admiral Dalin. Proudmoore, Gianna's father. Led this fleet and left there before Arces destroyed Miè Lordaeron. Months of sailing at sea were exhausting. But Prodmore was still looking for a survivor of the League that he could find.

Admiral Prodmore's fleet posed a serious threat to the stability of the region. A hero who made a name for himself in the Second War, Gianna's father is a sworn enemy of the Horde and he is determined to destroy Durotan before the Orcs gain a foothold.

Prodmore forces Gianna to make a difficult choice, to support him against the Orcs and betray her new Alliance, or to go to war with her biological father to preserve the hard-won fragile peace between the Alliance and the Horde. After a struggle of ideas, Gianna chooses the latter, and she helps Salal defeat her crazy father. Unfortunately, the Admiral died in battle before Gianna could prove to him that the Orcs were no longer bloodthirsty monsters and reconcile with him. Out of Gianna's loyalty to the Horde, the orcs agreed to allow her forces to return safely to their home in Theramore.

Closing the book in his hand and looking at the already dark sky outside the window, Lin Yue walked out of the room.

Jian You had already been waiting in the hall downstairs, and he guessed that Lin Yue might be cultivating, so he didn't bother.

Without any extra words, the two of them set off directly from Ollie City and rushed to Silvermoon City. Under the cover of night, the two ran wildly. Lin Yue no longer concealed Jian You, and directly summoned the skeleton war horse.

Jian You just glanced at Lin Yue's mount and didn't ask out loud.

Soon, the two approached Silvermoon City. The road passed through several layers of defense line arranged by the Burning Legion, and there was no battle, Lin Yue and Jian You each had their own ways to pass through quietly.

Coming to the outside of Silvermoon City, the two got off their mounts and switched to walking. The two of them, who had studied the drawings before, quickly bypassed the gate and came to the side of Silvermoon City.

By the faint light of the moon, the two of them quietly came to the bottom of a large tree, and a secret passage left by the dwarven craftsmen when they built Silvermoon City was under this tree.

In the hollow trunk of the tree, there was a tree hole, Lin Yue took the lead in getting into it, and Jian You followed. The tree hole was very large, and after entering, Lin Yue found that there was no trace of the passage.

"Look for it, maybe there's some mechanism. Jian Yu reminded quietly.

It was too dark in the cave for the moonlight to shine in at all, so the two had no choice but to turn on the energy lamp that could illuminate and dim the light.

After fumbling around the hole for a few minutes, the two finally found a pull ring in a corner. Tethered to a rope, Lin Yue took a few steps back and pulled hard.

A one-meter-square plank was pulled up, revealing a narrow passage.

"Let's go. Lin Yue was still the first to enter the passage, and after Jian You followed in, he closed the plank again.

I walked down the narrow staircase for more than ten minutes. The passage flattened, and the two quickened their pace.

After a few minutes of advancing through the dark underground tunnel, he finally came to the end, and a long and narrow staircase went up. Go out, and you'll be inside Silvermoon City.

"Wait. Lin Yue said, and took out the map.

Spreading out the map on the ground, Lin Yue pointed to the end of the passage, which was where they were now, "We are here now, and after we go out, it should be a building next to the central square of Silvermoon City." Where do you think they're going to be held?"

"There are quite a few of them, and the most likely one is to be locked up in the dungeon under the main palace. Jian Yu pointed to a place on the map.

"Well, let's go there and have a look. Eh, look here, we can get to the dungeon directly from the sewers. Lin Yue pointed to the map and said.

"It should work, but our tunnel is not connected to the sewer system. Still need to go out and find a sewer entrance. Jian Yu said.

"It's easy to do, look here. There is a sewer entrance to the entrance of this building after we go up, and we can go in directly from here. Lin Yue said.

"Okay, I'll go up first and see if there's a guard or something nearby. After Jian You finished speaking, he walked up the stairs first.

The two of them quickly climbed up, and soon came to the exit of the passage.

Jian You listened intently for a few seconds, then slowly pushed open the wooden board that sealed the exit and ran out.

The exit is located inside a shop, hidden in a storage room. After walking out of the passage, Jian Yu slowly approached the door of the storage room, and after many investigations, he found that there was no one in the entire store.

Lin Yue followed Jian You, and the two soon came to the door of the store, and also saw a sewer cover on the road at the door through the window.

Cautiously opening the door of the store, Jian You poked his head out and looked outside the door, and then opened the door completely.

At this time, Silvermoon City was like an empty city, and there was not a single living creature on the road. But the two were still very careful to avoid accidents. Sure enough, just as Jian You was about to step out of the door of the store, a team of patrolling orcs appeared around the corner of the street.

Jian You and Lin Yue immediately retracted back into the store and hid behind the door. There were only three orcs on patrol, and they soon came to the door of the store.

"Why is the door of this house open?" said an orc in a language that Lin Yue didn't understand.

"I don't know, go in and have a look. The other orc walked towards the door of the shop.

Jian You turned his head and gave Lin Yue a look, meaning to ask what to do now.

Lin Yue glanced at the three orcs walking towards the store through the gap, raised a hand, and then made a downward slashing motion, meaning to deal with them.

Just as one of the orcs walking in front had already stepped into the door with one foot, there was a sudden sound in the distance, and the orc immediately stopped and exited the store.

"What's that sound?" asked an orc.

"I don't know, go over and take a look. The three orcs quickly left the store and ran towards the source of the sound.

The two people hiding behind the door also breathed a sigh of relief at the same time. (To be continued......)
