Chapter 161: Goodbye Witch

Vincent sent Jacques to Father Cavendish and said goodbye to Adrian, where he needed to go to Paulina's house and wait for the witch to arrive.

Vincent sat in the carriage and wondered what kind of scene the priest and the witch were about to turn into when they met, and he didn't want the two to start a fight in the place where the priest lived.

He was a little nervous at the moment, and he was worried that he would threaten his own safety, or the inhabitants of New Orleans, in the face of the witch's power.

Perhaps, he thought too much, after all, the priest was still alive, and the witch did not dare to do something out of the ordinary.

The witch was still more afraid of Father Cavendish, and according to the situation that day, at least the priest would have magically suppressed the witch.

It didn't take long for the carriage to stop and stop next to Paulina's house.

Vincent straightened his shirt briefly, then jumped out of the carriage, where he stood, quietly observing everything outside and inside the house.

The oil lamp next to Paulina's door was not lit at all, except for the first floor of the new house, which was dark and quiet.

He looked up at the night, it was exceptionally clear, and he saw a few stars hidden behind the thin clouds, and occasionally a star slipped beyond the horizon for a moment, and he always felt as if something was missing from the sky.

When the carriage had departed, he marched forward and stood at the doorway, glancing at the window from time to time, wondering if the witch was already in the house.

The door creaked, and Vincent entered, but he didn't close it.

It was pitch black in the house, but Jing was more terrifying than outside, and he looked at the couch and saw nothing.

"Hey, are you here?" He plucked up the courage to ask.

His hand immediately reached into his pocket and touched the amulet, he was not sure what was in the house.

He muttered to himself, "Hasn't she come yet?" ”

He knew that the witch's clothes were the same color as the night, and that the only thing he could see was the color of her skin.

He approached the couch and glanced in the direction of the stairs, which seemed to be darker.

He quickly took out the amulet, held it in his hand, and chose to sit on the sofa, quietly waiting for the witch to appear.

As soon as he sat down, the witch's voice suddenly sounded in the house: "You're here?" ”

"You're late." He said.

Vincent didn't know where she was, and it was highly likely that she was hiding in a corner somewhere, afraid to show her head.

"We're ready to go." Vinson said.

Suddenly, the oil lamp on the first floor suddenly brightened, and Vincent was blinded by the blazing light, and he shielded it with his hand.

He felt as if there was a cold corpse beside him, and subconsciously stood up and looked at the guy, and when he saw the true face of the witch, he was suddenly stunned.

"Let's go, future heir." She said coldly.
