Chapter 173: You Need to Keep Me Alive
"Are you still there?" Mill asked.
"Yes."
"Then why didn't you answer what I said?"
He said: "I am waiting for you to ask me, because you are desperate to know the clues of the murder, and I am sure that you will be extremely interested in what I say next, and will definitely not continue to talk like this." ”
"Really?" Mir closed his eyes slightly, and began to be wary of all the powerful motives of all the coachmen, who were probably trying to get himself out of the car by all means: "I'm going to succeed, your answer is meaningless, and even if you say it all now, I won't believe it." ”
"I suspect that you may be an accomplice who has made a deliberate plan to change my mind, trying to lure me into moving on to someone else, so that the whole murder can continue." Mir sneered, "Am I right? ”
"Nope." The coachman's voice became faster: "Mr. Detective Edward, I can come to you today without the permission of the Governor, please forgive me for meeting me rashly. ”
"Do you know Laura?" The coachman asked.
"Laura?" Mill asked, "You know Laura?" What is your relationship with her? ”
"I'm her titular man." The coachman paused: "You should have seen me." ”
"Damn! Why didn't you say it earlier! ”
Mir knew who he was, and that the coachman was the homeless man, so Mir immediately opened the door and looked at him.
"I want to know, you came to me, Lara won't know?" Mir asked tentatively.
He shook his head and said, "No, she's in the hotel, our relationship is very delicate, as long as she needs me, I'll be there for her." ”
"Sounds great, it's Uncle Amos giving you a beautiful deal."
"I don't think so, Mr. Detective Edward, it's torture for me right now."
"Torture?" Mill didn't quite understand: "How many men dream of something." ”
He sighed and lowered his head: "She's dead, long dead, I think you already know." ”
"Yes, I know a little later than you, but I don't think it's too late to get to the clues to the murder." Mir said proudly: "She can exist, let me tell you something nice, she did bad things, maybe help me solve the case, since I knew she was dead." ”
"That's a good idea, you admire your intelligence, Mr. Detective Edward." The coachman smiled and praised.
"I'm not at all interested in your compliments." Mir leaned forward slightly: "I'm interested in everything you know. ”
The coachman hesitated, knowing the relevant clues in order to get Mir to protect Jacques and take him to a safe place.
He turned his head to look at Lafayette One behind him, and if something happened to him after he told it, then he would immediately let Mir bury himself here.
He turned his head back to look at Mir in the darkness, stared into Mir's eyes, and he lowered his head again: "Dear Mr. Detective Edward, I can tell you, though, you need to keep me alive. ”
"Alive? It's easy to live, but it's hard to die if you want to. Mir finally let her guard down.
"Why?"
"Because I want you to live."
He was surprised: "Yes! Thank you. ”
He said, "What guarantee do you use?" Mr. Detective Edward. ”
"Father Cavendish, is this qualified?" Mill replied dryly.
