Chapter 253: Unfinished Business
Mir told Kra, "The door was broken before, unless you didn't want to come out, you didn't want to close it completely." ”
When Kra took a closer look, several parts of the wooden door were tied crookedly: "How did it become like this?" ”
"It should be Marcos." Milpi smiled and said, "Before him, it was one of my men named Martin who did it." ”
"We're pretty much done with it."
"Do we need to get in from here, then?" She asked inexplicably.
Mill shrugged his shoulders and said, "Of course, you have the key, this is your home." ”
"Oh my God! I actually forgot. As soon as Kra finished speaking, and before she could fumble her hand in her pocket, she silently raised her eyes and looked at Mir and said, "The key is in the dress that I changed." ”
"You're not kidding, are you?"
Mill waited for her eyes and said, "Is that dress still worn?" Barely anything. ”
"I've hidden the key in a very secret location."
Mir thought briefly about where he had seen in the interrogation room, and knew where Kra had hidden the key, for the key was completely blocking the only trace of it.
"You've seen it all, haven't you?" Krawaner said with a smile.
"Yes." Mir didn't hide any of his demeanor, nodded and said, "It's beautiful." ”
"I can see that the woman named Matilda is interesting to you, and in the interrogation room, what she can show is like."
"You're right, Chris made me do this."
Carat was puzzled: "Inspector Louie?" ”
"He's not a detective now, he's been demoted."
"Don't interrupt, Mr. Edward."
Carat said directly: "You should know what I want to say." ”
"Whatever you want, Carat." "I'm not going to fall in love with anyone until I'm sure Alina is married," Mill said. ”
"I know."
"I'm just like her."
Carat chuckled, "Like? I saw that she took the initiative to kiss you, and you didn't refuse. ”
"yes, who would refuse a kiss from a beautiful girl."
"Can I kiss you, then?"
"No, Carat, we can't do that." Mir didn't expect Kra to say something like, "We'd better not." ”
Carat unhurriedly came to Mir and stared at Mir with azure blue eyes: "Our eyes are almost the same color, it's like a mirror, only the gender is different. ”
Mill spread her hands and looked at her with suspicion, "Do you only like men?" ”
"Of course." When Kra heard Mir's words, she was surprised: "Why do you ask that?" ”
"Maybe I'm overthinking it."
"Your face is beautiful, and your lips are beautiful."
"Hey! Carat, we don't have much time now. Mill reminded her: "I need to investigate the case as soon as possible." ”
"We're going to eat later, and we're going to see Father Cavendish later."
Mir immediately turned around and ran towards the window, he didn't want to make eye contact with Cara, let alone kiss her.
"We can get in from here." Mill said, pointing to one of the glasses.
"Can I go in here?"
"Yes, trust me."
Mill moved the glass, trying to open it.
Meanwhile, Kra watched quietly from Mir's side.
"It's on!" Mir said excitedly.
"yes, I saw it." "I don't know when my house has a mechanism," said Cla. ”
"Omar did it." Mir opened the window and said, "My men told me the same." ”
"I remember you were there, and I thought you knew."
Carat smiled and said, "Yes, Mr. Edward, I didn't know much about Omar trying to serve you in order for me to serve you. ”
"Really? What do you like to do? ”
"No, just want to try, I've never slept with such a handsome man."
Mill sighed softly into the bottle on the windowsill and said, "Carat, I regret it a little, I regret giving you a new hope." ”
"Mr. Edward, you won't regret it, it's my hope, and it's yours."
"Don't think about it, Carat, it's time for us to get down to business!"
Kra inexplicably laughed, "I'll wait until that day comes." ”
"What day?"
"It's the day you feel hopeless."
Mill stood in the room and stretched out his hand and said, "Hurry up! Carat! Hand me your hand! ”
"Watch your step."
"Thank you for the reminder, Mr. Edward." Carah reached out and squeezed Mir's hand tightly.
Mir vaguely felt some kind of inexplicable temperature spread to the inside of his body.
When Kra stepped into the room, Mir immediately let go of Kra's hand, not daring to look directly into Kra's eyes, and turned around to go to the second floor.
Mir felt the mysterious part of his body change, from bent to upright.
It was the first time he felt so wonderful, and it had never been like this when he held the hands of Alina and Matilda.
"Mr. Edward, there is no investigation on the first floor."
"I'll go to the second floor first, and you stay on the first floor to see what's different about your home from before."
In order to avoid embarrassment, Mir can only escape from Kra's perspective.
"Damn! How could this happen! Mir said secretly.
Mill walked around the second floor, the feeling gradually disappearing, and he pulled away from the picture that was about to break into the warmth.
"Bottle, bottle." Mir stood outside the door of Kra's room and began to mumble quietly.
"You're damned!" He said angrily.
"Mr. Edward, nothing strange was found downstairs other than that bottle." Carat raised her voice and said, "Still, something on the table has been touched." ”
"Okay, good, nothing special, you can go upstairs."
Mill continued: "At the table, Marcos was here that night, and there was no one else but him. ”
After a while, Carat appeared at the door of the room, and let out a strange scream, which startled Mir who was looking out the window.
"What's that?" Carat said, pointing to the wall.
"It's a mark, a sign of Satan." Mir reluctantly turned around and said, "You don't have to think about it for a while, you should know who got it." ”
"Yes." Carat kept looking at the irregular markings on the wall: "I feel a hint of fear in the markings, Mr. Edward. ”
"You can choose not to watch it."
"Where do I look?"
Mill hinted, "Look at the clues." ”
"Wait a minute."
Mir said again, "You see fear? What kind of fear? ”
"I'll need to watch a little longer before I can tell you."
"Then you keep watching."
After about five minutes, Kra began to speak slowly, "Dark space, living people, dead people, and filthy mire, and many hands. ”
"What?"
"Oh! No! Mir was shocked: "What we saw was pretty much the same. ”
"It's incredible!"
Kra shifted his gaze to Mir's face, "Yes, Mr. Edward, where is this place?" ”
"I don't know."
Mir also began to look at the markings on the wall: "It's like a mire, an abyss, more like a swamp." ”
"It's like someone is giving us directions."
"Is it a swamp on New Orleans?"
Mill shook his head and said, "It's hard to say, it's possible that there are some swamps in Louisian." ”
Mir thought about it: "No, Carat, the direction of the bottle is not a swamp, and none of the swamps are dark mires. ”
"That's all I see in the mark."
"But I can't see anything on the mark, why?"
Mir thought that the present that the bottle could bring was not the only one, that Carat had seen the same place as himself, and that he could not imagine that the abyss would appear in some kind of subconscious.
"Will it be a guide?"
Mir thought and thought, if it was a guide, the clue to the bottle was broken.
One by one, the clues were disconnected, but Mir was still unwilling, assuming that the bottles were all in the wrong direction, and that the dark quagmire was the only clue, implying that everything would have to start all over again.
"Carat, I seem to get it."
"Got what?"
"It's us, trapped in the quagmire of darkness, not a guide, a foreshadowing, more like a warning."
Mill concluded: "From the moment I learned that Carl's wife had been killed, I was inadvertently led into the abyss by someone, and then, I succeeded in capturing Omar, followed Carl to Carol's house, and at the scene of the murder, found the death of the maid, and the vanished Carol, then met a sailor, the bottle in the harbor, and finally Carl's disappearance. ”
"I thought it was Omar's unfinished business, but now I understand that it's unfinished business."
"What unfinished business?"
"I don't know." Mir let out a long sigh of relief and said, "Will Delina be the last man behind it?" ”
"She shouldn't be." Mir simply guessed: "If Delina is also working for others, the prophet they mentioned will be the mastermind of these murders." ”
"We need to know who the prophet is." Mir's eyes stopped in the mirror: "The priest may know." ”
"Then we can leave."
"Make a note of it, Carat."
Mill pointed to the marker on the wall and said, "Did you find what the mark looks like?" ”
When Kra heard Mir's words, she looked at it carefully, shook her head lightly, and said, "It's like a strange pattern, an irregular pattern." ”
"I feel like a map, or a place."
Mill thought for a moment and said, "It shouldn't be in Louisiana, somewhere else, and although I'm not very familiar with all the locations here, I can feel that it must not be New Orleans." ”
"Could it be the Philadelphia you said?"
"Maybe it is, maybe it isn't."
"This place will be in a place that none of us expected." Mir thought of the Red Man: "It's in the tribe, it must be." ”
"Tribe?" Kra glanced at Mir, then at the marker, and said, "There are many tribes in the Federation. ”
"It's an Indian tribe."
