Closing remarks

This book is written here, and some readers said that they wanted me to write more biographies, but I think I should be powerless, the biographies of Zhuge Liang and Liu Bei have exhausted me, and I am really unable to write it.

Before writing Qiming, I didn't rest, one book was written immediately after the next, sometimes even double-opened, bursting liver every day, writing for four or five years, to the later stage of Qiming, obviously felt powerless, so I decided to rest for two months.

As a result, at the end of October last year, my grandmother died of illness, and a lot of time was spent on this matter during the entire rest period, and I was also very tired, and I didn't have a good rest, and then I began to update Xuande, which started with four watches a day, and then I didn't have enough energy, and gradually became three watches, two watches, and now, it's really to the limit, and I can't hold on.

And I didn't plan to write Xuande's book originally, it is one of my waste cases, because I expected that if I wrote it like this, I would inevitably collide with Xiao Xiongzhi in the later stage, and I have basically finished writing the content of the country's construction and political struggle in the later period of this era, and there is nothing new, so I feel that there is nothing to write about.

The reason why I wrote Xuande was mainly because I read a lot of the content of the dispute between modern and ancient texts during the break, and felt that this piece was a dark line in the first Three Kingdoms period, and no one had written it, and I felt that writing like this might be new, plus I read a lot of books related to Liu Bei, and I had a deeper understanding of Liu Bei, and I dispelled some misunderstandings about Liu Bei when I was a teenager, so I wanted to write a book and apologize to Emperor Zhaolie.

So I decided to take Liu Bei as the protagonist and write about the dark line of the ancient and modern literary disputes, but I wrote and wrote, and found that this part was also difficult to write long, simply writing academics and political struggles, and I couldn't write too much new ideas.

I am very happy that this book has achieved very good results, which is the best I have ever written, and because of this, I have higher requirements for myself, I don't want to use a clichΓ© story that is difficult to expand and write new ideas to cast a shadow on this good result, I want to complete a new work with more energy and fighting spirit, and pursue my own higher ceiling.

Everyone said that writing a book is a very challenging job, and no one knows what their next book will look like, whether it will be better or worse, and it will be over, and I was nervous for a while.

But then I found that I was still full of fighting spirit and enthusiasm for opening up new paths and writing new stories, and I still wanted to discover all kinds of details in the 5,000-year-old history, and find all kinds of new angles to cut into a piece of ordinary history on paper, so as to make this history vivid and interesting.

I was thrilled by the process, and I realized that it was not just pleasing the reader, but also myself, making me really feel that I was walking with a group of people from thousands of years ago, and trying to empathize with them and experience something that is not possible in modern times.

I think that's the beauty of going through history.

Therefore, since I still have this enthusiasm and fighting spirit, which has not diminished in the slightest, then I should finish it decisively, and I don't have to be limited by my past achievements, whether it is good or bad, as long as I continue to maintain this enthusiasm and fighting spirit, then I can start all over again at any time.

One won't work, cut it, sleep for a while, and come back tomorrow, and it's not a father-in-law, so you can't grow it anymore if you cut it.

So......

May I still have this enthusiasm and fighting spirit when I am 40 or 50 years old (laughs)

Tomorrow is the National Day, in time for the last day of September, to present to you this incomplete end, may you all Haihan, two months later, December 1st, I will be punctually presented my new work, about a not so ordinary little story in the middle of the Qing Dynasty.

Ladies and gentlemen, we'll see you in two months.

PS: About Liu Bei's temple number, some readers raised questions, thinking that it should be an ancestor rather than a sect, I thought for a long time, thinking that Liu Bei in this book obtained the throne is Zen concession, and the country name is still Han, there is no interruption in the middle, the emperor is always the Liu Emperor, and the situation of a new Mang dynasty at the turn of the Western Han Dynasty and the Eastern Han Dynasty is completely different, the Western Han Dynasty is essentially dead, so Liu Xiu is to restore the country, and then create a foundation, which can be called an ancestor, but during the Liu Bei period, the Eastern Han Dynasty did not lose the country, and the country name did not change after ascending the throne, and there was no nominal restoration of the country and re-creation of the foundation, Therefore, it should not be an ancestor.

And on the question of "ancestor", I also thought of Jiajing's change of Zhu Di's temple name from Taizong to Chengzu, this happened during the Jiajing Great Rites Discussion, and the power struggle in the early days of the Jiajing Dynasty is closely related, I think the change of the temple number means that Jiajing alludes to Zhu Di's emperor is not a normal handover, but a re-entrepreneurship, in essence, denying the legitimacy and orthodoxy of the rule that Zhu Di has pursued all his life, which is something that Zhu Di's son and grandson will never do, for Zhu Di, if he knew that his temple name was changed to Chengzu, should have pulled out a knife and slashed Jiajing.

Therefore, making Liu Bei's temple name the ancestor is essentially equivalent to later generations thinking that Liu Bei is starting a new business, and further extending it will make people think that Liu Bei is a rebel, and there is a problem in the legitimacy of the enthronement, but at that time, all the formalities of Liu Bei were legal, and even the matter of ascending the throne was not an incident that he started independently.

Therefore, I think that Liu Bei's descendants, courtiers, and even those who write history in later generations should agree that Liu Bei's temple name is Zong, not ancestor, although his achievements are very great.

As for Sejong, some people put forward that Liu Che is also Sejong, and Liu Bei can't be Sejong, but Sejong's temple number is a metaphor for the transfer of the ruler's lineage, which often represents the transfer of the throne from one branch to another, Liu Che is the Western Han Dynasty Shizong, Liu Bei lived in the Eastern Han Dynasty, in the Eastern Han Dynasty, some people called the Western Han Dynasty as the former Han Dynasty and the first Han Dynasty, that is to say, people at that time would also look at the Western Han Dynasty and the Eastern Han Dynasty separately, and the former Han Shizong and the Later Han Shizong can also be seen separately, so I think it is more appropriate to use Sejong as the temple number.

I think so, if you have different opinions, you can also share them.
