Volume 1 The Philosopher's Stone Chapter 117 The Dream of an Angel

Previous Chapter

It's back to the dream!

Martin looked at the castle not far away, the black flowers of thorns in the sky, and the high wall that surrounded and guarded the castle, and couldn't tell if this was reality or a dream.

He came to the bottom of the high wall, only this time he could no longer float in the air, but stepped firmly on the ground, not far in front of him the pyramid-like high wall and the taller castle.

The boulders built on the high walls showed a real sense of oppression, and Martin could see the marks of knives and axes on them, and he could even walk over and touch them, but the thorny black flower in the sky seemed so unreal.

How can a flower grow in the sky? Shouldn't that be where the moon is?

And the castle in the distance seemed to Martin to have an illusory feeling, and his vision seemed to be through the bubbles of the deep sea, and he did not know where this feeling came from.

Then, Martin looked up at the wall and spotted a familiar figure.

It was the "weeping angel."

Now he sat back on the wall as he had done in his previous dream, and instead of hiding his face and weeping as before, he sat on the edge of the wall with his back to Martin, shaking his legs, looking very relaxed and natural.

And Anne didn't know where to go.

"You've probably seen this before."

"Weeping Angel" said in his voice that could not distinguish between man and woman.

"It's annoying to exchange some memories for memories every time you sneak into someone else's dream......"

"When will we really be able to accommodate the 'Priest' card......

The white feathers on the wings of the "Weeping Angel" swayed, and he looked at his tender right hand with some distress in his tone.

"Fortunately, we finally succeeded in putting 'Sisina' to sleep in the [Void Phase], and using her body as a 'docking point', so that we can enter this 'City of Calamity' so smoothly."

"I heard Lilith say that you were called 'Lucky Boy' by those shepherds, and that is a fitting name."

The Weeping Angel's head turned slightly, as if glancing out of the corner of his eye.

"The kid with the aura of the 'Tower of Life'."

"You don't know how tempting it is for us [Witch Cradles] to wander around with the scent of those 'Tower of Life'."

"I don't know what Pleis thinks."

There was a hint of incomprehension in his tone, but more mockery and disdain.

"It's the 'Tower of Life' again!"

Martin recalls the "Tree of Life" in "The Tribe of the Moon God", which was carved into an upside-down pyramid, does this have any connection to the "Tower of Life"?

Martin prefers that there must be a connection between the two, or even one thing, after all, in his previous experience, it can be called related to this, that is, through the screaming tent to go to the tribe of the moon god.

But what does the "Tower of Life" have to do with this "City of Calamity"?

Martin also noticed the name of the suddenly talkative angel, which was originally the name in the second story he told the queen.

And this also confirms his conjecture in the church just now, the purpose of this monster's behavior is to come to the ruins of the "Queen's Garden", that is, the "City of Calamity".

Martin did not expect that the ruins of the garden, which had been in mind for Lady Lucia, would arrive in such an unexpected way.

But the castle in front of me has such an unreal feeling......

Doubts flooded Martin's mind, and his gaze looked through the "Weeping Angel" to the castle that seemed to be in a dreamy reflection.

"Looks like you've found a problem here."

The "Weeping Angel" also looked out at the towering castle in the distance.

"This isn't really a city of calamity, it's just my dream."

"However, although this is a dream, everything here is closely connected to the 'City of Calamity', almost to the level of [reality]."

"I want you to deal with the remaining two of the three sisters here, and then open the door to this 'City of Calamity', if you can't do it, you will stay in my dream forever."

Speaking of which, the "Weeping Angel" seemed to laugh a little.

"Just like that 'Sisina'."

"Good luck, 'Lucky Boy'."

There was a hint of mockery in the tone.

After saying that, the "Weeping Angel" turned into a large piece of colorful bubbles, floated into the sky, and disappeared.

Before Martin could say anything, he watched the bubbles disappear into the sky.

"Three sisters?"

He grasped the crucial words from the mouth of the "Weeping Angel".

"The remaining two... Does that mean one has already been resolved? ”

"Judging from His words before and after, the one that has been resolved should be the body He has incarnated, this angel called 'Silkna'......"

"Did He say 'Sisina' would stay in His dreams forever, does He mean He took the body of this angel....."

Thinking of the feeling of not being able to move in his previous dreams, Martin sensed the horror of this monster.

Trapping the angel's consciousness in his dreams, and then seizing his body to use it as a docking point for the Silver Triumph Car, all of these operations illustrate the extraordinary methods of this monster.

Martin brushed his words through the beginning, and the monster seemed to come from the Cradle of Witches, the secret organization that Hines said had mastered the "Water Mirror" deck, and was an accomplice to Lilith who pretended to be Cecian.

And he seemed to have been brought here because he could open the gates of the [City of Calamity], but he didn't have any clue about how to enter the [City of Calamity] except for knowing the origin of the paintings under the church, and he didn't even know where the gate of this castle was.

And now that Anne has disappeared, she doesn't know what happened, why did the [Cradle of the Witches] bring her in, and it seems that their target was her in the first place......

Martin felt his thoughts go like hairballs, and he figured out one and found it tangled with the other balls of thread.

Before he could figure it out, a brilliant aqua blue glow suddenly lit up on the high wall not far away.

Martin squinted, he saw what appeared to be a vessel shining at the top of the wall, but he couldn't make out what it was.

Immediately after, an illusory figure floated out of the vessel, like a soft bubble.

The figure fell like a meteor, and a long phantom figure pulled out behind it, like a dazzling tail.

When the figure approached, Martin realized that it was actually a woman.

A very beautiful woman.

She shook the slender "tail" phantom attached to the top of the high wall behind her, smiled, and asked Martin softly:

"I can grant you three wishes."
