Chapter 202: The First Project Ends
Harry walked into the arena. There was a lively noise from the audience.
But most of the people who cheered for Harry were Gryffindor students, and Slytherin cheered Harry harder than the Hufflepuff students.
Ravenclaw was neutral at this point, discouraged or ridiculed. The same is true of Akira, who has a good impression of Harry, and only Celia Dolux, who has been helped by Harry and Maple, and Lunalovegood, who is known as the Mad Girl, give Harry rare support despite the strange eyes of those around him.
But none of this mattered to Harry off the field, compared to the terrifying Hungarian Tree Peak, Malfoy's painless taunts were nothing.
The rule that the Warriors of each academy and the two Warriors bench play against the same dragon in one fell swoop was undoubtedly beneficial to the Warriors, and even if Cedric hadn't used the Eye Sickness Charm on the Hungarian Tree Peak, Harry would still be much more irritable when he came on the court.
The Hungarian Tree Peak crouched down to guard his nest of eggs, and his big fierce eyes stared at Harry.
If Harry continues to use Cedric's Transfiguration Charm, it probably won't have any effect on the Hungarian Tree Peak.
Instead of approaching the peak, Harry stood still, distracting and concentrating his mind absolutely on his firebolts.
Harry raised his wand and shouted, "Firebolts are flying!" β
"Oh my God, our youngest warrior also thought of using a broomstick, as far as I know, Harry was also a good Seeker in school, and joined the school team in his first year, and he won the Quidditch School Cup last year... Ludo Bagman said, only noticing that Harry was also using a broomstick, but he didn't know that the other people's broomsticks were summoned from the side of the field, but Harry had been summoned from the dormitory, which was far away from the site.
Harry may have been a bit stupid in his approach, he didn't think of having Maple bring his firebolts near the arena and fly directly to the spell summon, which was not against the rules...
Of course, Harry has also gained a lot, and after this time, his flying charm has reached the level of A+.
Firebolts whizzed through the air and flew behind Harry, stopping next to Harry, waiting for him to step on.
There were loud cheers from the audience, but if it weren't for Maple messing around, he should have gotten more cheers. However, it was not a big deal, as it was not Harry's idea, and Sirius immediately thought of the Eye Curse when he heard the dragon and Karkaroff, ignoring Quidditch, which Harry was best at.
Harry stepped onto the firebolt and flew to the ground.
In the air, in familiar territory, Harry forgot his nervousness, forgot his fear.
As the wind whistled Harry's hair, as the faces of the spectators below turned flesh-colored into small pinholes, and the tree bees shrunk to the size of a dog, Harry felt that things had suddenly become simpler, that this was just another Quidditch match, and that the Hungarian Tree Bee was just another difficult opponent...
Harry looked down at the nest of eggs guarded by the Hungarian Tree Peak, and saw that there were two golden eggs left inside.
"Tune the tiger away from the mountain, come on!"
Harry swooped down, the wasp's head moving with him. Harry stopped his dive just in time to leap to his feet. A ball of fire erupted, and Harry dodged it with ease, as if he had dodged a Bludger that had just struck.
Harry circled higher and higher, the treebee's gaze still moving with him, its head spinning and spinning around its long neck. If he keeps going up like this, the tree bee will definitely get dazed, but it's better not to push it too hard, or it will breathe fire again.
Harry descended as soon as the wasp opened its mouth, but this time he was unlucky, he dodged the flames, but the wasp's tail whipped at him. As he turned to the left, a long spike from that tail plunged into his shoulder, tearing his robes.
Harry felt a sharp pain, and the Gryffindor crowd screamed and sighed, but Harry didn't feel the wound was too deep to be hit head-on by a Bludger.
Harry then flew around the back of the tree bee, but the tree bee didn't move. This is also designed by the person in charge of the Triwizard Tournament, the three fire dragons are all female dragons, and the eggs that are put together with the golden eggs that the warriors are going to take are real dragon eggs, or the eggs of these female dragons.
The dragon coiled and writhed, its wings spread and folded, and folded and unfolded, its terrifying yellow eyes staring at Harry, but it didn't move too far away from its eggs.
Harry began to fly around, here and there, careful not to get too close so that it would spew flames and hit him, but to pose enough threat to make sure its eyes were fixed on him. The treebee's head swayed from side to side, its eyes staring at him from a pair of vertical pupils, its fangs exposed.
Harry flew higher. The wasp's head rose with him, its neck fully straightened, still swinging from side to side, like a snake dancing in front of a snake charmer.
Harry rose a few feet more, and the tree wasp let out a desperate roar. Harry looked to it like a fly, a fly it wanted to swatt to death. Its tail flailed again, but Harry flew too high for his tail to reach him. The tree bee spewed flames into the air, and Harry dodged, the dryad's mouth wide open.
"Come here," Harry hissed, turning and falling over the tree bee, teasing it, "Come here, come and get me, you come up!" β
Finally, the tree bee stood up, its huge, black, rough wings fully spread, as wide as a small airplane.
The dragon finally fell for it, and Harry immediately swooped down. Without waiting for the dragon to understand what he had done and where he had disappeared, he rushed to the ground with lightning speed, to the nest of eggs, and now there was no longer the pair of clawed front legs to protect them. He let go of the bolt and freed his hands, and he grabbed the golden eggβ
Harry sphemed into the air, flying away from the dragon and hovering over the stands, the heavy golden egg tucked under the uninjured arm, as if someone had just turned up the volume. For the first time, Harry could hear the voices coming from the crowd, screaming and clapping as deafeningly loud as Ireland's supporters did at the World Cup.
Harry was the youngest of the Warriors to play, but with the exception of Victor Krum, Harry was the quickest to finish the game.
Seeing Harry's wonderful game, many of the Ravenclaw students also changed their attitudes and applauded Harry.
Harry was immediately directed to Madam Pomfrey to deal with his injuries, and then there was only one last game left, and Hermione was about to appear.
After Hermione came on the court, Ravenclaw also had some sparse cheers this time. However, Maple had already sat back in his seat at this moment, and under his threatening gaze, many Slytherin's cheers had weakened, but this made Hermione's voice appear much colder.
When Hermione came on the field, she raised her wand and said, "Flock of birds!" β
The eyes of the Hungarian tree were still fixed on Hermione, seemingly unmoved by the appearance of the birds. But the flock flew to its head and attacked it, forcing the dragon to fight back, spraying flames at several flocks of birds in different directions.
In the meantime, Hermione's second spell has been released,
"Clear water is like a spring!" There seemed to be laughter from the audience, mocking Hermione's use of the Clear Water Charm on the fire dragon.
But Hermione's next magic made many people confused, and the clear water that rinsed the body of the fire dragon was summoned by Hermione with the Flying Charm and turned into ice cubes.
Hermione then used the Transfiguration Charm to conjure an eagle, and the ice cube from the water that had washed the dragon's body was also transformed into a dragon egg by Hermione.
The eagle picked up the dragon egg and flew over the top of the fire dragon, then dropped the dragon egg.
Hungarian Shufeng subconsciously stood up and took the egg with his mouth.
When Hungarian Treepeak stared at the eagle that had dropped the 'dragon egg' in the sky with hatred, Hermione had already conjured a second eagle and flew to the belly of Hungarian Treepeak, picked up the last golden egg, and flew back directly.
"Oh my God, see it, it's incredible, one of our youngest warriors took the fastest time to get the golden egg. It was so brilliant that she stood still, relying only on her superior magic to take the golden egg from under the dragon. She was the only one of all the warriors who wasn't injured, and I've never seen such a good witch! β
There was a dead silence at first, and Hermione's performance was too good to surprise everyone in the room.
Seeing Hermione's dazzling operations, not only did they not expect it, but even their magic level could not do it.
Is she really only fourteen?
Krum and Harry's air show made the audience feel wonderful at most. And Hermione's mysterious operation hit almost everyone.
It was so shocked that the audience forgot about the applause.
It wasn't until Maple and Dumbledore were the first to applaud that the others came to their senses and applauded.
This time, all the Ravenclaws didn't pull it down, and they all applauded Hermione, and at the same time, the previous questions resurfaced in their hearts-
Such a clever witch, why didn't the Sorting Hat choose her for our Ravencalau?
At the end of the race, the dragon trainers immediately came to the scene, subdued the Hungarian Tree Peak, and took it away from the competition venue.
The professors were finally able to leave their seats, and at the entrance to the venue, Professor McGonagall, Professor Moody, and Hagrid hurried over to greet her. They were all beckoning to Him to come over.
"That's amazing, Granger!" Hermione was particularly proud of her excellent Transfiguration during the competition, and Professor McGonagall was her Transfiguration teacher herself.
"Well done, Granger!" He had a lot of ideas, and Moody must have known that it was Maple who had done it, but he smiled and congratulated Hermione, not knowing what was going on in his heart at the moment.
"You made it, Hermione!" Hagrid's voice was hoarse, "You made it!" And you're dealing with tree bees, you know Charlie said tree bees are the most ferociousβ"
"Thank you, Hagrid." Hermione said loudly so that Hagrid wouldn't be presumptuous enough to leak out that he had taken them to see the dragon beforehand.
"And Harry, he's done a great job, let's go and congratulate him." Hermione said.
"They're in the emergency tent over there, congratulate Potter for me." Professor McGonagall said, and with that he and Professor Moody left.
Only Hagrid, who had a good relationship with Harry like a family, went to the emergency tent with Hermione to see Harry.
As Hermione and the others walked into the tent, they heard Madam Pomfrey say in disgust, "Dragon! Last year it was a Dementor last year, and this year it was a fire dragon, so what are they going to bring into this school next? Are you hurt there? β
"I'm not hurt, I'm here for Harry." Hermione said.
"That's good!" Madam Pomfrey spoke, and then treated the wound to the sick number.
Because of Maple, the Warriors suddenly became nine, which also made Madam Pomfrey a lot more responsible.
Harry's wound wasn't serious, Hermione's game was over too quickly, and it just so happened that Harry's injury was almost healed.
They walked out of the tent together, and Ron and Maple walked over except for Hagrid waiting there.
Together, they congratulate Harry and Hermione, and then Ron babbles on and on about what happened to Harry and Hermione.
"You did it, didn't you?" After hearing Ron's account, Hermione realized that in addition to Harry, there were several other warriors who also used broomsticks, but smart people could see at a glance that this was not their own idea.
"Yes, those broomsticks are the same ones I summoned from my Slytherin dorm with the Flying Charm." Maple didn't quibble, and directly admitted, "I even reminded Cedric, but he refused to use a broomstick." β
"You want me and Harry to lose the fight, do you?" Hermione said angrily.
"Yes, so that you don't have to participate in the last project, so you will be safe!" Harry was still a little angry, but he wasn't angry anymore when he heard this.
"I'm sorry to miscalculate. Do you particularly regret helping me now? Hermione yelled at Maple.
"What's so bad about losing? Give up the last project, give up the idea of being a warrior, and you'll be safe! Maple said.
"Have you ever asked me what I think? Why do you decide for me? I'm just going to be a warrior and I'm going to be the Triwizard Champion! Hermione yelled angrily.
"You don't know anything, how dangerous your ideas are. I couldn't do it with the Goblet of Fire, but he used it twice. He will definitely shoot the last project, why don't you understand, why can't you honestly listen to me, give up the Triwizard Tournament, give up becoming a warrior? β
"How do you know I can't protect myself? No matter how big the danger is, I can face it, and I won't give up! β
"Whatever you want, I don't care about you anymore!" After saying that, Maple left directly in a negative mood.
"Whoever is rare in his kindness, who is rare in his help, don't be sentimental!" Hermione didn't even bother to score, and ran straight away from Harry and Ron.
Before Hermione left, Harry and Ron could faintly see tears in the corners of her eyes.
They looked at each other, Harry and Hermione had both successfully completed their first project, how could it be like this when they should have been happy?
