Volume 2: The Storm Falls 66 Bloody Desires

A scream was followed by a roar of unwillingness, and a wail of pain, and I knew they couldn't let me go, especially the voices. What I didn't expect was that Illanicus let out the same angry roar.

I rushed out of the passage, but I could clearly hear the sound of rushing towards me behind me, and it was clear that they didn't want to let me go.

The whole hall was shaking, and I ran towards the stairs, but the dark shadow behind me made me subconsciously pounce on the right. A dragon I had never seen before fell in front of me.

"You can't go!" As he spoke, the dragon reached out and bit at me.

I drew the weapon from my waist and slashed it in the face as I dodged to the side. The dragon's head couldn't dodge and was slashed in the side of the face with a knife. I couldn't see any blood coming out, but the way the dragon screamed and the real feeling when the knife slashed through me told me that he could be hurt by me!

However, I didn't want to fight it, and the trolls who came out of the passage spotted me and killed me.

The dragon flicked its massive tail, and some of the trolls were thrown off the spot, I couldn't understand how this soul dragon could do it, but its translucent body was capable of hurting the things of these entities. And when it spewed a pale green liquid from its mouth, the trolls who were drenched by the liquid instantly smoked.

Is this liquid corrosive?

I turned around and ran.

The light above me would not betray me, and a great shadow appeared to remind me that another dragon had fallen from the sky and pressed down on me.

The entrance to the stairway was in front of us, and the dragon landed very accurately in front of the entrance, this dragon was large but it had no horns on its head.

"You seed of calamity, the source of chaos. What did you all do to Lord Illanicus in the Emerald Dream? ”

"You didn't do anything, in fact, you were all the victims!" As I spoke, I ran towards it.

This dragon's posture is the same as the poison-breathing dragon just now. It's going to spew poison at me!

Come on! Hurry up! I raised my eyes and stared at its bulging neck, which flew forward! I threw myself in front of it with a forward roll, and the splash sound from its mouth made me think no more, and it was another forward roll again.

But before I could stand still, it swept over with a claw, and then I instantly felt like the world was turned upside down! My whole body flew.

It's like being hit by a car, and I just feel like my mind is blank. But when I landed, I knew exactly what to do next.

Now I can't take care of the pain, and I can't feel the pain for a moment, I can still move but my bones are not broken. Rising from the ground, I dodged another attack!

I'll do everything I can to escape, it's powerful enough, but its huge size is bound to cause a speed disadvantage, and I easily dodged a few attacks from it and then I stuck to its side.

I didn't stab it with a knife, but leaned as far as I could on the edge of the hallway, knowing that I couldn't kill it, I wanted to live, not fight them. The dragon flew, its big tail flashing out of the entrance to the stairway in front of it.

As soon as I scurried in, there was a bang, followed by a thud, and venom sprayed down from the sky.

I really admire my legs, especially my ankles! You can't jump three or two steps at all, it's basically five or six steps down. In this dimly lit corridor, I didn't even have a bad foot!

The whole temple was shaking, and I had to get out of here, as if this underwater thing leaked, the odds of being spotted by the troll zombies were far lower than the chances of being eaten by the maggots.

But I'm more worried that it's better not to have any more episodes in the front exit hall!

I posted it at the entrance of the building and observed, fortunately! Thankfully not! But there were already small streams of running water on the ground. I rushed straight into the same passage I had come from.

Running like crazy? Don't even think about it!

The passage that had been extinguished was as dark as if he had lost his sight. I didn't have any idea of the route in my head, so I took off my clothes and wrapped them around a extinguished torch, lit them, and rushed forward with the light. The clothes lit the torches, faint but at least a little shiny.

The water on the ground was getting more and more than enough to reach my feet. When I saw that pool of yellow water...... No, not a pool, that place is almost submerged.

I swam as hard as I could after throwing the torch, and now my memory was finally clear, and I took a deep breath and dived into the water. Touching the wall with my hand, I felt the exit with the little light from the statue under the water.

When I put my head out of the water, that sense of relief is the happiest thing in the world! It was dark, but the stars in the sky told me I survived!

Climbing to the shore I looked at the raft that was missing one and how correct it was to haul it up! But this temple seems to be sinking! The water is now almost at the top of the stairs. A large number of bubbles bubbled up at the bottom of the water, and the water on the surface of the lake became very unstable.

Since there was one less raft, it should have been used by Grayson and the knight. I dragged a raft into the water, and although I struggled to paddle the oars in my hand, the speed of progress made me feel really sad.

I tried my best to paddle more than a hundred meters, I was already tired and almost collapsed, and when I looked back at the temple, I found that it was completely shrouded in fog and darkness, and I slowly relaxed.

I don't know how long it was, and I don't know where it went, but the only thing I know is that it was almost dawn when I got close to the shore.

There was no camp on the shore, and there were no familiar men, who eventually separated from them. Not too worried about them, though, at least Grayson survived, and they should be on their way home by now.

Exhausted, I walked to a big tree on the shore and fell there, feeling like my whole body was about to fall apart. At this time, all kinds of pain and sourness on the body hit like a wave.

Suddenly, there was something on the butt that was so uncomfortable, and when I reached out and touched it but it wasn't a stone on the ground, I found it when I pulled out the thing in my back pocket...... It turned out to be the red serpentine statue.

I looked at this very delicate gadget, and I didn't know if it was because I was tired, how did the red of this statue feel a little lighter, whether it was a little faded.

After playing with it for a while, I was so sleepy that I quickly lost consciousness.

In a daze, I saw some strange sights, forests, roads, horse-drawn carriages, people around me who didn't know me at all. It was supposed to be a dream, and there was a slight feeling that I knew I was dreaming, but I couldn't control the dream at all.

It just felt like I was sitting in a speeding car...... Everything around us is moving at a rapid pace.

After a good look around, I saw that I was indeed in a car, but where was this car going to take me? I looked around in confusion, the dim sky, the unfamiliar woods. Everyone around me was whispering, but I couldn't hear what they were saying.

Suddenly there was a team in front of them, and the armor on those cavalrymen was very strange, although it was a little far away, but I just felt that the armor was so worn, even dim without a trace of brilliance.

Where are they going?

Further afield...... What's going on with that camp? Wrong...... The cavalry began to charge! They picked up their spears and rushed straight into the camp. The camp was in chaos in an instant.

That's our camp! It's all humans who run out! How did those knights rush into the human ranks, and they were slashing our men? That's not an orc! I'm not mistaken, the orcs don't have such cavalry!

Who are they? When I was curious, I was standing in the middle of them, wasn't I in the car? I turned my head curiously, and when I saw it, I instantly felt a chill on my body, those knights ...... How could their faces be so dry! That's not the face of a living man!

They actually lay on the body of a human soldier...... Gnaw on corpses!

When I pulled out the weapon at my waist in fear and was about to step back...... My hands, my hands, turned into claws as dry as dead bodies. Behind me, a large group of soldiers as gray as the knights surged out, roaring towards the human army.

I was scared, but they rushed forward with me, and for a moment blood splattered in the human camp, and then the soldiers threw away their weapons and threw themselves directly at the people and gnawed at them.

I felt a blood-red color in front of me, and suddenly I felt a tightness in my back, and when I looked down, a sword pierced my chest. I tilted my head, my body was so empty that I seemed to have lost all my parts except my brain and eyes, and when I saw that familiar and unfamiliar face, I was sure I knew him! But I don't know what his name is, but I do know him!

Suddenly, my eyes lit up! The body is conscious! I opened my eyes.

It's a dream, it's a dream again, it's a nightmare again.

Curled up under the tree, the sun just shone on my face, my head was dizzy, and I was sweating a lot.

Looking around, it was indeed not the place where we gathered, I was in a completely unfamiliar place. Then I looked up at the lake, and although there was no fog, I could no longer see that there was a temple on the lake.

I took the statue out of my pocket again, and the thing told me that all that was happening was real.

It shone a faint red glow in the sunlight, and it seemed to be really lighter, and I remember when I was inside the temple it was dark red, red and a little black.

Suddenly, a gurgling sound in my stomach told me I was hungry. It's been a few days and it's unknown, and now we have to find something to eat. And it is not a simple matter to find food, there are no berries found here, and no small animals have been found that can be eaten. Looking at those colorful little toads, I didn't bother to step on it.

I shot a few parrots, but I wanted to chew on the fur, but the more I ate, the hungrier I became. This craving for food is unprecedented.

I stood at the water's edge and prayed that a crocodile or a python would come out, and I thought I could eat them all now.

When a crocodile finally swam towards me, I shot two arrows at it. The crocodile was not polite to me, and it jumped out of the water and pounced on me.

This crocodile is not very large, and the strong desire to prey made me deal with it as quickly as possible. And when the crocodile's blood came out, an uncontrollable urge appeared.

I don't know if I'm really thirsty or if it's because of something else. I always felt that the blood that came out of it would be very delicious, and the taste of the thick soup I had drunk in Tarummir before came to my mind.

The salty and salty aroma with a hint of fresh meat, the rich soup sliding through the tongue and flowing into the throat, the indescribable aroma and thick feeling.

I lay on the crocodile's body, greedily sucking its blood, but I didn't feel any discomfort at all.

I forgot to eat meat, and I didn't even remember to eat it until I had drunk my fill.

And when that longing was gone, I suddenly came back to my senses. Looking at the blood on my hands and the smell of crocodile blood coming out of my mouth, a violent feeling of nausea made me vomit the blood in my stomach directly.

It scared the hell out of me when I saw so much blood spurting out of my mouth.

Will there be my blood in it!

I vomited over and over again, and I don't know if it was snot or blood coming out of my nose, until I felt like I was going to vomit my stomach and gall bladder, and I fell next to the crocodile that I had sucked the blood dry.
