Volume IV Reign of Chaos 118 The Frostwolf Clan
The conversation between Thrall and me wasn't very meaningful, and the time spent in the icy snowy mountains of Alterac wasn't really that happy.
They did get free, but you also know that there are not enough plants and animals in the snowy mountains, and a village of forty or fifty people is devastating to the wildlife in the surrounding area, not to mention that there are not only three or four hundred people in the frost wolf clan.
Thankfully, they were exiled very early, and before the north had any sense of the orc invasion, they crossed thousands of mountains and rivers to the northlands, and found a place that was very similar to the area where they used to live.
This was also what Thrall had told me, but also from the elders of their clan, that Durotan had set out from the swamp with the exiled Frostwolf Clan, and they had crossed the Red Ridge Mountains, hiding from the human army, and then through the burning canyon.
The group of fellows did not and could not find the Blackstone Mountain built by the dwarves, and this group of innocent orcs just climbed over the mountains, over the Blackstone Mountains, and then through the barren land, and when they came to Lokmodan, they thought that this should be the place where they could live, but unfortunately...... It's not ......
They found the dwarven villages.
Durotan was a wise man. He knew that since there were natives here, it meant that they had been living here for hundreds or thousands of years, or thousands of years, and they only saw some dwarves, but if they really fought with them, these people of the Frostwolf Clan could not be opponents at all.
And by the time they crossed the Blackstone Mountains and the Wastelands, many of their compatriots had lost their lives forever on the migration route.
Durotan and his wife, Thrall's mother Draka, supported each other, and the old shaman Drektar summoned the Earth Spirits with his devout faith, allowing them to guide them in their direction.
That's it...... Thrall was standing in the water, and he was communicating with the spirits of the earth.
Well...... It's just that it's water...... Well, that's pretty much what it means.
They came to a haunted place, which was ...... Dwarf...... The place where the Hammer tribe once lived, it wasn't actually all haunted, but they weren't very happy with that place...... Again they sought guidance, and after crossing the marshland, they built a multitude of crossings on the shore.
That's right, the group crossed the sea and set foot on the land of Stormgar. But unfortunately...... They...... Met the trolls.
I guess call them the Deadwood Clan, I can't remember their names, the trolls...... Ah, back then, they were trapped in the quagmire of Hinterland with Lothar, they must have been the Deadwood Clan.
I have the impression that these guys are really like rotten wood in the mud, and the green skin on their bodies is like moss......
Belch......
Overgrown with moss...... Target...... That's pretty much what it means, you know?
The two groups fought, and the Frostwolf Clan did not take the mountain, or even the beach where they landed, they were forced to retreat north, and then turn northwest, along the mountain.
This group of people of the Frostwolf Clan, as far as I met Sal, there were less than two thousand, and the men and women of their clan were already doing their best.
That's it, the mountains of Hinterland can't feed them, and the chief Durotan also knows that the good places don't belong to them, just like their ancestors, the homeland of the orcs has so much land, why did the frostwolf choose that snowy mountain instead of Nagrand, instead of ...... The Tanaan Jungle, even Eldron is stronger than the ice and snow, and there are more supplies.
Those are the names of the orcs' homeland, just listen to them.
Their ancestors had no choice but to choose the land of hunger and cold because they did not have greater strength, and of course there were several tribes smaller than frostwolves in that land of bitter cold.
Sal said that their shaman, Drektar, had been telling them that the earth spirits had told them that there was a place where they could live well, and when the unlucky ones finally saw the snowy mountains, Sal didn't describe the scene to me, and he could probably think of what it was like.
This is how the group started a new life in that cold and snowy land, but the good days did not last long, and Sal's father and mother were assassinated.
For his people, the chief and his wife disappeared like this, and if it weren't for the high priest shaman's prestige enough, the clan would have been unimaginably divided.
The Frostwolf Clan has not always been peaceful, as there have been many battles to become the new leader of the clan due to the loss of their chieftain.
That's another story.
What I want to tell you is this clan...... Compared to other clans, it is much gentler, and it is also the group of people who are most eager for a new life.
And their chieftain did not bring them a smooth road.
