A note on the finale
The manuscript has been set up to post on a regular basis, until the deadline of 19 o'clock on August 16th, all of them are sent, and a small section is updated regularly every hour, readers don't have to worry about breaking the change, and I don't have to worry about it, because they are all originals on the computer, copy and paste, and set the posting time on the line, don't worry about it at all.
"The Legend of the Heroes" was originally called "The Legend of the Heroes", written about seven years ago, originally sent at the starting point, but sent twice, each time did not insist on finishing, from the point of view of publication, it is a eunuch, but in fact, the book was written seven years ago, this time it was changed to publication, and it was finally finished, and countless pirated posts on the Internet can finally find the complete manuscript for stealing and sticking, congratulations.
Writing is actually just a hobby, and when I wrote it, I didn't think about why I wrote it in the past, what the purpose was, but I just thought of a story, I wanted to write it completely, and I unconsciously wrote a novel of 1.25 million words, which I didn't expect when I just started writing, and I never thought that I could write such a large novel (of course, it is far worse than some online novels that are seven or eight million words at every turn)
When I wrote this book, I didn't think about writing it as an online novel, but if it was an online novel, I would definitely pay more attention to the rapidity of the plot, the suddenness of the rhythm, and so on, so that I could catch readers at any time and pay to read it. As for this book, when I wrote it, I didn't think about posting it on the Internet at all, but because of my love for Jin Yong's novels and traditional martial arts novels since I was a child, on the one hand, I consciously imitated Jin Yong's penmanship, and on the other hand, there are some blank places in Jin Yong's series of novels (except for the Condor Trilogy), but I really like some of the characters in Jin Yong's pen, so I deliberately imagine the follow-up stories of these protagonists, so I have the urge to write this novel.
Jin Yong's martial arts novels have two obvious characteristics, one is the theme of "for the country and the people, the great man of chivalry", which is the result of the influence of traditional Chinese culture, I have always thought that this is a spirit, a precious, worthy of inheritance, and in modern life, this spirit has become a rarity, the vast majority of people are in a kind of impetuous, short-sightedness, there is no higher belief in the chest (or ideas, principles, etc.), I don't know if this is an evolution or degradation, as a person born in the 70s, Most of the days are still growing up in a more traditional social process, and this aspect of education or inheritance is still more prominent, but for the post-80s or post-90s, this kind of education has been a little missing, which may just be a personal prejudice, which is not the case, but what I see is indeed the case, but I still hope that what I see is just an illusion, otherwise, a nation has no faith, no spirit, and no cultural heritage that has been passed down by ancestors for thousands of years, which is a very dangerous thing.
The second feature of Jin Yong's martial arts novels is the seamless combination with historical facts, after reading Jin Yong's novels, there is often an illusion that the stories in the novels are real in history, because its plot design is too in line with the occurrence of historical events, and it is very reasonable, so that the beggars in Hong Kong really felt that they were the descendants of the beggar gang, and there were really gang leaders like Hong Qigong and Huang Rong in the history of the beggar gang.
Based on these two characteristics, in "The Legend of the Easy Heroes", I also tried to make the work have the characteristics of these two, on the one hand, it continued the storyline and characters in the Yitian and Condor series, and on the other hand, I also consulted some historical materials, combined the storyline with real historical events, so that the story was more reasonable, and the background of the times was more closely combined.
As for Mr. Jin Yong's martial arts novels, I have always thought that they are very literary, (otherwise there would be no proposal in some places to take some fragments of martial arts novels into primary school students' Chinese textbooks), which is also different from most online literature and online novels now, these novels are like drinks, exciting, but after reading them, I quickly forgot that literary martial arts novels are also real literary works, which are as rich as tea, with a very deep cultural heritage, and I will not get tired of reading them for a long time and reading them repeatedly. Drinks are just a temporary thirst quenching, but tea can form a culture, isn't the tea ceremony a very deep culture?
With these understandings, these reverences, and in my spare time, I completed this novel, not asking for anything, not why, just a hobby, a pastime, but for this achievement that even I didn't expect at the time, I still have some expectations and dreams after writing it. Of course, I don't expect to make money with this (although I am also short of money), but a spiritual dream, I dream that one day, after reading this book, any reader will say, "It's really like Jin Yong wrote it himself", then I really feel very honored. If I can go one step further and let Mr. Jin Yong see this book, nod his head after reading it, and say "okay", then for me, it will be as exciting as winning the Mark Six lottery.
In order to realize the dream one day, if any of the readers really has contact with Mr. Jin Yong, it is recommended that the old man take a look and give an evaluation, it is really more forgetful than Confucius when he hears Shao Le.
