Sub-people Section II Report
There is an underappreciated report in the official archives that describes the Subhumans as follows:
"After the war began, the study of subhumans, which was in full swing in various European countries, was full of speculation and speculation due to the lack of valuable first-hand information, and was of little value, and at best served as a topic for the news media. To this day, we still know very little about them.
"Like humans, subhumans are social populations, living in underground burrows at depths of several thousand meters, mainly in dark river basins, and feeding on meat, with giant salamanders and stone eels as their main food sources. Subhumans do not have high requirements for food, usually eating a full meal of raw meat, can last for a month without eating, and during periods of food scarcity, they often go into dormancy, and can sleep for up to three years.
"Homo subhumans possess a high degree of intelligence, close to hominids, far superior to other species. They communicate and transmit information in a unique verbal language, unlike ape roars, which can only express simple warnings or threats, subhumans use a real language, with fixed pronunciation, words and grammar, and complex sentence structures, which are enough to become the cornerstone of the evolution of civilization. But they have no written word, and in the pitch black underground, any written expression is superfluous.
"There is intelligence, there is language, but the subhumans have not established a civilization, and in essence, they are still burrowing beasts, and the root cause is the harsh environment. Civilization is the product of leisure, only to solve the problem of food and clothing, there is the possibility of development, the underground cave lacks enough food, hunting consumes most of the time, the sub-people have walked into a dead end, can not see the dawn of civilization.
"Every adult subhuman is a formidable warrior, their strength is equivalent to that of the strongest adult man, their limbs are incredibly regenerating, and mortal human injuries are nothing to them. But in the face of heavily armed soldiers, these physical advantages are insignificant, and their weaknesses are in the brain and heart, and once they are pierced by bullets, there is no chance of surviving.
"The greatest threat to subhumans is not their claws or teeth, but the moni they raise. This scaly monster is the patron saint of the subhumans, is huge, agile and irritable, able to move freely through the soil (we still don't know how they do it), is elusive, jumps out of the ground at any time to launch deadly attacks, conventional weapons are not very lethal to them, and rocket launchers can receive some effect, but the chance of hitting is low, and it is often not fatal.
"There is nothing we can do about the Monimon that destroy the city, and in fact, the other side of the war is not so much the subhumans as the monsters they raise. Such harassing attacks were one-sided, and the army was exhausted but unable to respond effectively. Although technology is highly advanced and humans have a space station in the vast universe, there are still many unsolvable problems to build a spaceship that sails underground to chase and destroy Monimon.
"As the war entered its fourth year, all the major cities in Europe were spared, and governments were considering dropping nuclear bombs underground to wipe out the subhumans. There are a lot of problems with this devastating strike, we can't pinpoint the location of the subhuman main force, and the nuclear bomb is likely to cause massive earthquakes and volcanic eruptions, but if the Monimon destruction continues to escalate, humanity will have to use the ultimate weapon.
"Thankfully, at the critical moment, the subhuman attack on the city was abruptly halted, and they disappeared into human sight out of thin air, unable to be captured by any advanced detection equipment. There are many speculations about the reasons for the unilateral truce of the Asians, the most convincing of which is the great attrition that comes with the war, and the fact that they follow their instincts and go to sleep en masse due to the lack of food underground. It is bold to predict that once the dormancy is over, the Second Subhuman War will break out again. ”
