Chapter 567: Reprimanding the Tibetan Mastiff
After only a few steps, I heard a mixed voice talking, how do you let the monk pass, don't let us pass, we are laymen, and we are going to Nalanda Temple. Qian Jishi stopped, looked back, and found that there were more than ten people, both men and women, although they did not wear monk's robes, but they were all wearing similar blue coats, and their backs were all embroidered with a large Buddha character, indicating that they were also believers in the Dharma. They all stood outside the large parking lot and shouted at the young man, "Let us go."
No way! Very dangerous. The young man said as he stretched out his arms and made a gesture of blocking.
At this time, Qian Jishi turned around and said to the young man, "Donor, let them go!"
How can it be? Can you take responsibility for something that goes wrong? The young man asked with a smile.
I can take care of it. Qian Jishi replied in the affirmative.
This is not a joke, there are Tibetan mastiffs halfway up the mountain, there have been problems, you say you are responsible, you are all mud bodhisattvas crossing the river, it is difficult to protect yourself, can you still protect them? Don't laugh at me. The young man didn't believe what Qian Jishi said at all, so he said that.
You give them to me, and I will protect them. Qian Jishi does not have any confidence in saying this, because he feels that all living beings have Buddha nature, all living beings have the virtue of Buddha, and the Tibetan mastiff is also one of the sentient beings, as long as the Buddha name of compassion can awaken the Buddha nature or virtue of the Tibetan mastiff, it will not bite. This makes sense in theory, but the reality is cruel, can it really be as Qian Jishi imagined? In fact, it is a different story.
At the moment, the young man still didn't believe him, but seeing the confidence and auspiciousness on his face, he still believed in him a little, but he couldn't convince himself, what reason did he have to believe him? Before the young man could find a suitable word to convince Qian Jishi, he saw Qian Shiji turn around and ask the dozen or so people, do you all want to go to Nalanda Temple to participate in the puja?
Think! A loud voice came from the mouths of a dozen or so people at the same time.
It's a good thing to want to go, I can take you there. But I have a request, you must listen to me, and if you do not listen to me, do not come with me. Qian Jishi said this. The dozen or so people said in unison, Master, we listen to you, and we can do whatever you say.
All right! Qian Jishi, who was positive in words and attitude, said to the young man again, Donor, you can hand over these ten or so people to me! I promise them that they will go to Nalanda Monastery and that there will be no accidents along the way.
The young man seemed to be impressed by Qian Jishi's compassionate aura, but in fact, he followed Qian Jishi's protector to the young man's body, and had a brief discussion with his mind or soul, making him believe that Qian Jishi had no problem going to Nalanda Temple alone; It's no problem to take those dozen or so people with you.
So the young man was sent by a demon to agree. According to him, he will not agree, as a security guard on the road leading to the entrance of Nalanda Temple, he must check, once something goes wrong, to put it bluntly, if the person he let go from here is bitten by a Tibetan mastiff on the mountain road, or even bitten to death, he will not only have to take responsibility, but also the danger of being dismissed, and he will lose his job.
But now that he agreed, he was actually uneasy in his heart. But until he got off work in the evening, there was no bad news, and he was calm and relieved.
So how did Qian Jishi take a dozen or so people to walk a mountain road to Nalanda Temple without danger?
At that moment, more than a dozen people were very excited and walked towards Qian Jishi together. Qian Jishi said, "Follow me and obey the command."
Good! Master. Seven or eight of the dozen or so people answered in unison, and only a few nodded or said yes.
Qian Jishi led everyone to walk in the direction of Nalanda Temple in Wulong Mountain, and the breeze was blowing along the way, and the birds and flowers could be smelled, which was particularly pleasant. Qian Jishi and his entourage were not tempted by the scenery outside, but walked steadily along the winding mountain road.
Qian Jishi not only chanted the Buddha name out loud, but also turned on the Buddha chanting machine to the maximum volume, which also enhanced the peaceful aura of the ancient Buddhist temple that the entire Wulong Mountain originally had.
Because the leader of the team, Qian Jishi, was chanting the Buddha, and the dozen or so people who followed also followed the recitation, and the group looked solemn and sacred, constituting a scenery on the road of cultivation.
Qian Jishi led everyone to the halfway point of Wulong Mountain, and suddenly someone exclaimed, Master, I'm afraid......
Afraid of what? As soon as Qian Jishi asked, before the person who shouted fear could answer, he understood, and saw a group of Tibetan mastiffs, seven or eight of them, all with fluffy fat bodies, and some of them had cocked their tails, high, and rushed towards them.
Seeing this situation, he didn't talk about it, and Qian Jishi, who had practiced or recited Buddha to a certain level, and had a certain amount of kung fu, was also a little panicked, but he immediately calmed down and said to the dozen or so people behind him, you go to the front, and I will break the back.
At this time, many people looked at Qian Jishi and said, Master, how can you do it? The Tibetan mastiff bit you, how did you get it?
You don't care, the Tibetan mastiff won't bite me. In fact, this is Qian Jishi's nonsense, mainly to stabilize everyone's emotions. He thought to himself: several Tibetan mastiffs have chased after him, and they are all about to pounce on him. Then let it be! It's a big deal to let yourself be eaten by the Tibetan mastiff, but the dozen or so people must not be hurt because of this; It's okay to make sacrifices yourself, but you want to keep everyone safe. A few Tibetan mastiffs, don't you just want to eat meat! My human body, to say the least, has a hundred catties of meat, enough for you to eat!
Qian Jishi considered this, and saw that most of the dozen or so people ran to the front in panic, and some hid in the bushes on the side of the road in front; Some even climbed trees for safety, and in short, everyone could do whatever they wanted to escape.
Qian Jishi did not copy the guy and fight to the death with the Tibetan mastiff that had gradually surrounded him, but sat on the ground with his eyes slightly closed and chanted the Buddha aloud one after another, and the open chanting machine was also chanting. He knew that he couldn't escape, so he planned to let a few Tibetan mastiffs tear his flesh apart and eat it, and it should be a charity to the animals!
After reciting the Buddha's name for about a few minutes, Qian Jishi opened his eyes slightly, only to see a group of Tibetan mastiffs surrounding him, staring at the green and shining eyes with fierce light, but for some reason, they didn't pounce on him, just squatted for a while, and left one after another. Some Tibetan mastiffs that had their tails erected fell again, showing a look of silence.
Why did this bloodthirsty blood-eating animal suddenly become so unusually docile? Qian Jishi didn't think much about it, and was extremely grateful to Amitabha Buddha in his heart, he thought that he had been reciting Buddha all the time, and Amitabha Buddha saved his life.
This understanding is also correct, but he has never known, and of course he can not know, how Amitabha Buddha saved him. But he came to the conclusion that he was able to survive because of his sincere recitation of the Buddha.
There is a song praising the Buddha: Amitabha Buddha is golden, and his appearance is bright and unequal. Bai Hao tactfully turned his five eyebrows, clarified the four seas, turned into countless billions of Buddhas in the light, and the Bodhisattvas were boundless, forty-eight wishes were made to save all sentient beings, and the nine products were set to land on the other side.
Isn't there a sentence in this that "the Buddha is transformed into countless billions in the light"? When Qian Jishi met the Tibetan mastiff chasing after him, he chanted the Buddha more and more, and every time he recited a Buddha number in his mouth, there was an incarnation of the Buddha who came out, and the incarnation of the Buddha came out, which was the boundless Bodhisattva in the spiritual world, and there was a Bodhisattva among them, who appeared in the animal god at the moment.
The one who is in charge of the animal god is also in charge of the animals. Is a Tibetan mastiff a beast? Yes! It is also in the hands of the animal god.
At this moment, Si Beast God shouted loudly in the animal language that the Tibetan mastiff could understand: Bold, dare to attack the monks who promote the Dharma and benefit the living, go back!
The few Tibetan mastiffs that rushed to the front were about to chase Qian Jishi, and suddenly heard the reprimand of the animal god, and immediately stopped. One of the Tibetan mastiffs, humming and chirping, said to the animal god in animal language, great god, I'm sorry, we don't know Mount Tai, and we don't know that this person is the monk who spreads the Dharma and benefits life.
The animal god roared: "You are all blind, and the monks wear monks' robes, which are obviously different from the laymen, don't you know?"
