Chapter 880: The White Goose Sings

At this moment, the god of beasts collected the net, and the soul of the old eagle went in to worship the king of the wheel, but the king of the wheel did not have time to pay attention, and ordered a group of young crows to follow the main hall to withdraw quickly, and instructed the god of animals to lead them to reincarnate elsewhere.

A slightly larger crow turned around and asked, "King, can we be reincarnated as another thing and no longer be a crow?" Wheel King: Hugh is nonsense. If you don't have time to give birth to crows, you are not destined for crows, and now you go to support the crows, which is fate.

The young crow refused to leave, and wept and wept and counted: the king did not know that the crow was an ominous bird, born in the sun and not welcomed by the people, and was cursed, and would be in danger of being hunted and in distress.

The other crows who walked out of the temple also turned their heads and bowed down to the Wheel King: "King, have mercy on us!" We don't have high requirements, both horizontal and vertical are nursery birds, why not let us be reincarnated as magpies or something?

Seeing this, the king of the wheel walked out of the temple, flicked the dust off his dress, and then raised his left arm, and opened his palm, and in a moment the five fingers became five great trees, and the trees were full of crows, some hovering in the sky, their wings flapping and clapping, and some resting on the branches of the trees where the nests had been built, and croaking;

In the blink of an eye, the right arm of the Wheel King was also erected, and the five fingers became five houses, which extended side by side into a natural village, and as soon as the people of the village went out, they saw the cloud-like crows flying around on the rooftops and the treetops, and they all felt terrified, as if something bad was going to happen, so they let people shoot at the sky and scare away all the crows here; He also sent people to climb the big trees and set fire to the crow's nests made of dead branches on the top of the trees, or poke them with wooden sticks, as if in doing so, they would avoid calamity.

The crows were very puzzled when they saw this inexplicable scene. After a while, everything disappeared, and standing in front of him was the majestic Wheel King. He said, "Did you see what you just saw?" Did you know? The villagers who destroyed the crow's nest were all from the past life, and now it is your turn to be reincarnated as a crow, and let you taste what it is like to be a crow and be cursed, banished, and tortured. As the foreman of the tenth hall who governs the reincarnation of all beings, I have no right to ask for any reincarnation. What you should be reborn in is your evil fate, and I can't change where you want to be reborn, but I can only fulfill this heavenly official duty. Speaking of this, the Wheel King raised his hand and motioned to the kneeling crows to flatten themselves, and then continued: As far as this king is concerned, I hope that you will all be out of the animal path, reincarnate to humanity, or be superior and special than humanity, and become immortals and Buddhas one by one, is it possible? That needs to be cultivated, and as far as my position as the Wheel King is concerned, the difference between the sacred immortal and Buddha realm is still far away!

The Wheel King returned to the inner hall, and the young crows seemed to have some kind of understanding, and left quietly, walking through the yin and yang realm with the animal god, and reincarnated into the animal path to generate the species that was generated.

At this moment, the old eagle soul bowed reverently to the wheel king. The king of the wheel said, "This king knows what you are here for, so isn't he here to complain?" It's useless for me to tell you to complain, are you doing it yourself?

The old eagle soul cried and said with a sad face: King, you have a variety of magical powers such as his heart and eye, you should know that I live in the jungle home, Li Gui lives in the village, I and his well water do not violate the river water, he is so harsh to me, chasing and beating hard, the weak and the strong, so that my family is ruined, I don't have him to ask for it, I only hope that the king will be gracious, let me be reincarnated as a strong man, and avenge it. The yang world and the underworld all talk about cause and effect, and my revenge is also caused by cause and effect, and it is not too much!

The Wheel King, who was sitting in the hall, heard this cry, laughed, and then looked at the old eagle's soul and teased: You are very reasonable, but this king is powerless to ask you to be reincarnated as a strong man to avenge your hatred. Don't you believe in the law of cause and effect?

The old eagle nodded and listened with bated breath.

The Wheel King said: In your past life, you were a fisherman, you caught an eel mother, and you put it in a pot to cook, not only was it boiled to death, but even the eel calves that were full of bellies that had not yet been born were also boiled to death, and there were thousands of eel calves in its belly, that is to say, thousands of small lives were killed that time. Later, the eel's ghost lingered, and after several reincarnations, it was reincarnated and then reincarnated into a human, and because you did too much evil, you were reincarnated as a flat-haired beast and became an old eagle. Now you want to reincarnate as a strong person to take revenge on him, although it is possible to succeed in the next life, but when will you get revenge? It's better to stop there, and patience is high.

What the king said is true, and the people of the crows should take it to heart. The old eagle's soul knelt down again to give a salute: thanks to the king's guidance, the crows rested and no longer tried to retaliate. It's just that my crows won't give up. They want revenge, and there's nothing I can do to stop them!

Who does iniquity and who suffers, what has it to do with you? The Wheel King said: Your reincarnation of the flat-haired beast has not yet ended, but being a flat-haired beast is not completely impossible to practice!

At that moment, the ghost servant of the main hall put a stack of reincarnation posts in front of the case, and the wheel king took it and handed it to the soul of the old eagle, and the soul of the old eagle went out of the temple and reincarnated with fate.

There is a Guanyin Zen Temple in the hilly area of the south of the Yangtze River, and the monks who teach in the morning and evening are mainly chanting. In the middle of the day, monks often go out of the monastery to stroll, or to water and fertilize in the vegetable garden, or to meditate with pine trees.

Suddenly, after a period of lectures on the Diamond Sutra, the monk Xuyun walked out of the monastery with a wooden barrel and walked on a path made of stones to the village at the southern end of the monastery to find a well to draw water. As I passed by a bush of thorns, I heard the sound of purring, and when I looked closely, a white goose was fighting with a weasel, and they did not give in to each other.

The white goose kicked its flippers and gained momentum, and the weasel did not dare to act rashly, trying to open its mouth to bite its curves, but it was rare to speculate. Monk Xuyun suddenly remembered what he had seen in his dream last night, when a white goose born by the soul of an old eagle was fighting a weasel, and begged him for help. Now when I see this scene, I know the clue, and I have compassion for all beings, and I will not let the white goose suffer or hurt the weasel.

He put down the bucket suddenly, clasped his palms together at the white goose and the weasel, who were facing each other and were in a stalemate, and chanted Amitabha, and the weasel turned around and slipped away. The white goose raised its neck, which was as white as snow, and sang a song in a mellow voice, clearly thanking the Xuyun monk for coming in time to resolve this desperate competition.

When the monk Xuyun saw that the white goose was out of danger, he comfortably took the bucket and continued to walk towards the bottom of the cottage, and when he turned around with a bucket full of water, he saw the white goose waiting by the door of the temple and sang happily to him.

Monk Xuyun said knowingly: White Goose Layman, the Bodhisattva bless you with peace and good luck!

Since then, this white goose has stopped at the gate of the temple every day to listen to the scriptures, bending its neck high, as if looking at the taller and more majestic temple gatehouse. In between listening to the scriptures, he only foraged for some vegetarian food among the nearby bamboo bushes and shrubs, and never went far. Even in the evening, I forgot to go back to the village house below to store the cage.

Its owner is called Liu Gushu, after the sun sets, the livestock in the courtyard have been in the cage and returned to the circle, but the white goose is not seen, and he is about to go out to find it in a hurry, only to see the monk Xuyun standing in front of the courtyard gate, and behind him is the white goose.

Monk Xuyun turned around and said, "White Goose Layman, you should also go home."

The white goose quacked twice and went into the courtyard.

Liu Gushu looked at Monk Xuyun and asked strangely: You, a monk, when did you tame my white goose so much to listen to you.

Amitabha! The donor doesn't know anything. Xuyun monk said: Your white goose has a Buddha fate, and every day he runs to the gate of the mountain temple to listen to the scriptures.

Is there such a thing? Liu Gu asked puzzled.

Amitabha, monks don't speak. Monk Xuyun finished speaking, turned and left.
